Hello guys,
Recently bought Samsung galaxy s6 ,amazing phone!
But the problem am facing only issue is that front camera movement lags especially in low light :crying: only while taking selfie in video it's smooth
The weird thing is while using front camera with 3rd party camera app
It works as smooth as butter .
So please guys tell me is this normal or should it be worried?
Regarding s6 camera lagl
Guys it only lags in
normal mode.
In wide mode it's super smooth.
Please guys reply . I am worried that it's my phone fault.

First a dark theme.
They keep taking things away from the stock camera (Manual exposure control and taking a picture while recording were removed in the latest camera app update.). They'll never give us slow motion.

Update: One sony sensor user has confirmed it fixes slow mo (but it is a bit dark in indoor)
Not dark dude....perfectly fine
Even 1080p 60 fps working

I (samsung sensor) used stock RR-Rom camera from your build
I also add this in build.prop
persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
camera.hal1.packagelist=org.cyanogenmod.snap

lemme download google camera
edit: the latest apk (june) doesnt work (forceclose) testing out the februaury apk
edit: all google camera version slow mo doest work (forceclose)
but it ultimately works on stock cam (snap) app
as I understand it, slow mo on google camera not working is a GLOBAL bug for non-google phones.

Edit: confirm working with OctOS Oct-N. For stock camera you need to add "camera.hal1.packagelist=org.cyanogenmod.snap" to build.prop
Tested with Stock Camera (org.cyanogenmod.snap) and Moto Camera from here
Sadly i don't know the camera sensor. I didn't checked it on Miui before :/

Confirm working on ViperOS v2.1

Camera used: Stock (org.cyanogenmod.snap)
initial report:
slow motion
at 60fps - i didnt found any changes
at 90fps - when indoors recording, it didnt find any changes but when I stepped outdoors, everything when slow-mo. Pretty odd (??)
at 120fps (SD 480p) - works flawlessly
all stated above was recorded above 40 seconds without crashing or camera hangs. The same with normal video recording too . Great work guys

Don't know if its possible but i think a working google camera app for j3 would be really nice. Devs look into this it will really be appreciated. :good: .Was able to get a good but not great photos out of the J3 i think with a camera app improvement it could be better. Seriously.

Yes , my both sisters have J3 , one J3 and the other one is J3 2016 model , it would be really cool if we have google camera for these
Is anybody working on pixel 3 camera port for potter?? That night sight feature is dope. Cant wait to use that. Thanks in advance
