private mode widget fast... is there? - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

someone could tell me if there is a widget to toggle quickly private mode without going to the settings ? thank you

Go to Settings >> Device >> Notification Panel......and swap private mode into the top panel.......
You should then be able to access it from the notification bar pull down.

[Q] Quickly toggle between lockscreen security modes?

Is there any way *quickly* toggle between lockscreen security modes without going into settings and re-do it there?
When I'm home, I only want "swipe" security for my lockscreen.
But when I go out, I want to use PIN for my lockscreen.
It would be great if I just toggle a "quick settings" button to select between the two modes.
But, the PIN code would need to STICK. Right now, I have to re-create it every time I switch between the two security options.
Any ideas?
A dashclock extension for this would be cool also.
There isn't something like that, but there IS a widget that is a quick shortcut to your lock screen settings. You'll still have to enter pins and stuff, but you'll save the effort of navigating there. It's the "settings" shortcut which should already come with the phone

Hi, Im using this app to turn off and on pattern lockscreen via widget.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.jraf.android.nolock
But when lockscreen is turned off, It's working half way, I don't need to enter pattern when I'm turning on my phone, but when I'm getting notification in notification bar, and click on it to to launch app, then I have to enter pattern... Can I disable it somehow?

Notification Access auto disabled

Well after updating to 5.0 there are many problems. The worst one is the notification access auto disabled after rebooting the phone. I give the notification access to CM Locker and after I reboot, I need to give it again. Is there anything I can do to stop this thing?

Block notification bar on lock screen?

I realized that, even if the Mi (in Oreo Stock Rom) is blocked, it allows you to display the notification bar and deactivate the mobile data or activate the airplane mode. Is there any way to change that?
I think that if the device is blocked, it should not be able to interact with the notification bar ...
I have not seen a solution. So, I open the thread to see if you can help me.
Thanks in advance!

It's possible to remove Quick Settings Tiles in lockscreen but you need root access to do that.
I'm using Tasker to set Quick Settings Tiles when device locked and reset it when device unlocked.
Example 1: shell command to get current Quick Settings Tiles
Code:
settings get secure sysui_qs_tiles
Example 2: shell command to set Quick Settings Tiles to Flashlight only
Code:
settings put secure sysui_qs_tiles "flashlight"

I appreciate the contribution, mate
It's funny have to root the device to apply a basic security measure ...
