If you are rooted then calibrate your battery after charging it to 100%
If you are not rooted then flash the factory images(this process will erase internal storage so backup first)
did u face the same issue on u r stock mate?
No i didnt face such issue.
And am not stock CM now. Am using unofficial CM11 by @dumtara

Completely discharge your battery

I am also facing the same problem. Please somebody reply
i had the same issue . my battery % would remain normal on restart but when i removed battery , it would drain tremendously .
i fully used up my bettery % to 0 and used Samsung S4 ' s charger ( 2A i guess , genuine ) and after taking around 2-3 minutes to boot up , it charged faster and the issue was resolved for me . worth trying
My solution...

I was facing the same problem but some how I manager the solution myself. If after reinserting the battery charge decreases drastically then again remove it and wait for 3 to 4 mins. then insert the battery. Then connect the battery charger but don't switch on the device. If charge level returns to its previous level the its well & good otherwise repeat the previous steps 1 or 2 times, definitely after that previous levels will be back. It was working in my case hope it will work with your case also.

I had a similar problem with my ol prophet.
I let the phone deplete its battery and charge over and over again (4 times as I can remember) and it's solved.
But I don't think it's the same. People were doing something to raise battery life and health, I can't remember. Or a simple factory reset (or a wipe) could solve. Possibilities.
same with my wildfire tried 2 or 3 roms but stil not able to slove my problem it stuck around 70 to 90 % please help me out buddy ..
Try wiping battery stats using ClockWorkMod recovery (I believe AmonRa has this function as well).
thanks guys for replying
i have stock 2.2 froyo.. i guess i have to try factory reset.. but will try that draining and charging thing first ..
any other solutions
factory reset also did not work.. any other solution guys ??
Hi,
My SGS+ suddenly shuts down (edit: its not actually rebooting as the title proclaims, I'm sorry). This happens at random moments. I'm thinking this is to blame about the battery, let me explain why: I pull my SGS+ off the charger and just use it. After a while, with the battery at 97% for instance, it suddenly shuts down. After rebooting my battery level is below 10%. When recharging, it recharges within 15 minutes back to a 100%. I've wiped the batt stats several times but this doesn't solve the problems I'm experiencing.
Any one knows what might be up here?

There's no swelling and no oxidization, but I've ordered a new original pack anyways.
Hi,
I have the exact same issue you describe. Did changing your battery fix the issue? It would be great to know if this is the cause or not...
Thanks!

Another topic of the same subject.
I've been having strange fluctuations in the battery which I noticed and I was assuming it was some of wake locks or alarms causing this drain.
I also noticed the battery getting heated during charging.
The weirdest issue I faced is that every first boot after full barge reduces to -10%later reboots meet them intact I noticed this on stock rom and custom rom also, Also while charging I saw that from 93%to 100 %jump was just in few min which is totally ubnormal.
Tough my fast charging was turned off.
Hopefully it's just a battery issue I can't live without this device after giving it for service.
Is anybody else having these issue ??
I think its a software issue did you try doing a factory reset ? Disable all the useless apps? Remove the battery once in awhile? Jumps from 93-94%to 100 is not uncommon

I guess this has been fixed by resetting the battery gauge after full charge to 100% I had to pull the battery wait for about 3mins and put it back after this reset procedure looks like the last 2 charge cycles dint have those random drops after reboots, but I've the battery drains I need to figure out what problem is I get a maz of 4hsot.

Hi everybody !
I have a problem with my note 4 since few days, my battery indicator shows 40 or 20% of battery left but it shutdown itself and reboot.
After that, it shows 0% of battery left and have to plug my phone.
I already tried to wipe caches and battery status with a root app but it does nothing :roll eyes:
My phone have 535 cycles of charge, maybe my battery is already dead ?
For info: i am on Kyubi 2.2 rom, but i've noticed the problem on COI3 Stock/unrooted.
Does anyone have a solution for me? Thank you in advance :good:
No solution, but same problem on 5.0.1. Mine dies at 15%

Search first, there are several thread already discussing about this problem.
It's because of your battery has degraded through time.
My problem seems to be resolved for the moment, i don't think my battery is dead yet...
Battery is faulty, please replace.
Hi everyone, i have problem with my note 4, battery drops from 11 % to 3% very fast and charges after 85% very slow.. this problems started 2 days ago when i flashed dn5 custom rom i thought it was rom problem and flashed sixperience rom but still i have same issue also i tried battery calibration but again.... what can i do???? and my screen on time is only 3 hour. please help me, thanks.
Have you checked what's eating away at your battery? Settings => Battery (Here you should be able to see if anything is causing a drain).
If the settings screen doesn't seem to show anything, you could try BetterBatteryStats (This app will be able to tell you everything that's going on regarding running processes, wakelocks,... You should give it a day or so from a fully charged battery.)
And if even BBS doesn't show anything, I'd flash the stock firmware again (And check if it isn't the battery).

Well, in all fairness, mine is running CM 12.1, and SOT is a bit under 4hrs. Which isn't fantastic either. Quickcharge does slow down a bit after a certain percentage. You could try a new battery, but might be a waste of money.
I'm afraid I can't help you any further, maybe someone else can.

did u change ur battey? im going to buy anker battery as i know they have good ones
I am facing exactly the same problem .. I don't think buying a new battery will solve this problem.
My mobile is charging by AC very very slow and sometimes it stuck at certain percentage for hours and I tried many things but I am still facing this problem... While recharging if I removed the battery and put it again, the phone shows me that it is 100% while it was not 100% at all.
I wish someone can help us about this problem or if any of u guys tried a new battery and the problem has been solved, so please feed us back in here
Any updates!?

well after 3 4 days (i mean after flashing sixperience rom) everything is ok. discharge to 0% then wait and full charge + calibrate battery may fix issue. but still dont like screen on time. only up to 3.5 4 hours
That sounds weard...
I mean the good thing is we could change the battery.
I have a feeling this is not battery issue. it's exynos + apps running on the background. Try to root + disable unnecessary apps (maybe Android 4.4 Would give you higher SOT). I had Note 3 previously and SOT was at the level of around 6 hrs (snap processor) - now on exynos it's around 4 hrs on stock firmware (5.1.1).
