Hello,
My new phone are stuck in fastboot mode at the moment after trying to change the ROM.
I used a kitkat rome to flash my phone with and the transfer worked without any problem but the moment i tried to shutoff my phone it just got stuck. I have searched around on the forum and tried all the solutions i
could find. I have removed the batteri (still starts upp in fastboot), go into recovery and wiped all the data on the phone but yea still starts up in fastboot.
Any idea how i can fix this and also (if possible) get a "normal" android OS on it, when i got it and the reason why i tried to flash it is because it had a weird chines OS on it (MIUI).
Thanks in advance!

This guy has made 5 posts in the AT&T S4 forum for this. He ignores what he was told and just makes another post for the same thing. If you look at his info (unless he changed it) he is listed as "T-Mobile".

You've been given the answer, bro, and it's that you cannot install a custom recovery because you upgraded to MF3. Game over, man, game over!
Thank you!!

Not that you care, but this is directly from the XDA rules that you agreed to but obviously did not read...
1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting, whether you have a question or something new to share, it's very likely someone already asked that question or shared that news.
-and-
5. Post a message only once.
As a large forum we don't need unnecessary clutter, You're free to edit your message as you like, so if you do not receive an answer revisit your message and see if you can describe your problem better. Not everyone is online at the same time, it might take a while before you receive an answer.
In your case you got a couple of good answers (maybe not the answers you wanted, but still accurate) and you decided to ignore them.

Who assigned you as the snitch. I started reading his threads since I keep seeing you constantly spamming every single one. From what I've read he's currently making progress. He managed to get his phone to boot after what seemed like a brick on mf3 firmware which I'm curious how he did that. You see I found something interesting and what seems can be useful for others who soft bricked their phones with mf3 stock from the information he provided. But you, I see you as that one causing the annoyance and lack of progress to help some one who has been reading and has been trying to figure out a way to fix his problem.

Regardless scott was just following and enforcing forum rules...which is a good thing. If the op wants he can create a new thread explaining how he got his device to boot back up...but from what ive read he never really bricked it...just messed up hus recovery so he couldnt enter stock recovery anymore...could still boot up but bootimg recovery sent him to download mode.
Now calling someone on here a snitch for enforcing forum rules is not ok, if you have a problem with the way hes doing things than let him no through pm or contact a mod if needed for further assistance with the issue...a mod can than evalute the problem and decide what needs to be done lock thread/delete posts/leave alone
Lets try and make xda a nice friendly environment...even if somebody annoys you or does something you dont like...

You can fing recovery image here : http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager . I'm not sure if this will help.
Hello all.
Why not make a new section for the S4 - I9515 ?
This is visibly a new model, and there is some differences about drivers for exemple that make we can't install custom Recovery or ROM makes we have no touch screen if we do it.
I think that I really definitivelly not the only one who have this phone and need help with it, or a new Custom ROM, Recovery or other ?
Thank you by advance and see you soon.
're right, create a selection for the 9515 S4, not find a rom for my model

Why no moderators answers to that please ?
MODERATORS, would like me to implore you ? ? ? ? ? Or you will finally answer to my question ? ? ? ? ?
I think the reason is because there are no custom roms for it (yet). So there would be no point in opening a new section.

Precisely, if the developers want to work with this type of phone, how will they do ? They will post it in the I9505 section? ? ? ? ? Not very logical.
And for us who have this phone, where do we must to post ? In the I9505 section ? Not logical too, definitely ! ! ! !
instead of ranting in a q&a section thats for a different phone, how about asking in the correct place?

So, if I listening you, there will be all models of S4 in XDA EXCEPT (for obscure reasons) the I9515 ? We have definitely done well to buy this phone, for SUR.
Especially that in my area, we have no choice, it is the only model of S4 we can be found, and I took him, to the base, to be secure and to choose ROM that I would put on it. Obviously, I did well to take it to what I see.

We can't really give support to that device, because people here are only experienced with the real Note 3 phones. Most of us never had the fake one, so we can't really tell, what to do etc.

Like i said use Google you do not have a product that is covered by this forum its not a Samsung Note .
Try googling fake note 3 MTK6589 .
If it bootloops you can try a factory reset or find firmware in China and flash .
Alternative try a Chinese phone forum .
I bought and have good knowledge of this phone. Message me.
Nice ROM.
I like to know where the location of recorded calls are saved.
I know it used to be on Device memory under Sounds but now I cant find it.
:good:
Go the ROM thread and delete this post.
This are rom related questions that can be easily discussed or solved in the dedicated rom thread where you got this rom from.
November/December will my HTC One M8 arrive !
Fixed it

Hi! Newbie here... I've got some questions to ask. Here it is. (Please do excuse my grammar)
As of now I am downloading the latest firmware of my phone 5.0.2 (SMG530 HXCU Grand Prime). Here's the thing, my phone is already rooted, i am afraid of updating it while it was rooted. Will my phone get bricked by doing this? Any tips to avoid bricking my phone? Also i've got this Titanium backup with my important apps back up'd, so now I need to restore it after the update. How?
Also mind if you can teach me how to do tricks with CM?
Please help. Thank you!
Edit: Idk if this is the appropriate place to post this thing.

Hello,
Thanks for using XDA Assist.
Your thread is being moved to Galaxy Grand Prime Q&A,Help and troubleshooting
You cannot flash OTA updates if you're rooted. But if you have the full firmware, you can always use Odin to flash it on to your device.
If you want to restore using Titanium Backup, you'll have to root the device after the update.
