I am facing a problem here... my phone loses connectivity to data services once on sleep mode and applications like whatsapp only respond when I open the application. Basically push service seems to be stuck.. I tried everything.. switching ROMS, switching Kernels... and switching Basebands... but in vain!!! Ironically everything works fine on wi-fi & i get push messages swiftly.
I strongly feel that this could be a baseband issue and as you all know we cant downgrade our baseband anymore.. I am on UBUBMH1 modem.. iI think so because when i was XXXMEA then I wasn't facing any such problems related to connectivity..can anyone suggest any resolution of wither how can I downgrade my baseband or what can I do to sort this out..

Hi there, i've a galaxy s4 gt-i9505 since dec 2013 and i've been experiencing the wifi button stuck in dim green (wifi stuck with that activating ... Message and not working) and not working since ive bought it. It came originally with the android 4.3 stock rom. First i thought it could be a hardware problem but when i reset the phone to it factory settings wifi starts to work again. Ive noticed that if i stay with only one wifi network registred (the one i use to reconfig the phone during the first reset) the wifi works fine, but when i try to connect to a second wifi (any router) the problem arises and the only solution is to reset to factory settings again.
Ive read tons of people complaining about this problem but ive never heard of this second wifi netwrok issue... I dont know wether android loads a different config or modem driver for the first wifi network registred during the first boot but the problem only comes after i try to register a second one. Ive tried all wifi config like keep wifi on allways etc but nothing seems to solve the problem. Ive also tried the airplane toggle trick but didnt work. Ive tried other stock roms from other countries like germany dbt but always on android 4.3... Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I grabbed in my hands one more s5 from wind (first one was from cosmote), I ve installed the same 4.4.2 stock rom as in my previous one (xxu1ane2), rooted the same way, installed the same kernel but the new one seems to have weaker reception especially in my car or at home!
First was always showing 4g whereas the new one barely shows 4g, almost always stucks at h, h+!
What more can I test?

Edit: By using Phone info app on the first s5 says in active csc field cos/eur but on the other it says only eur!
Also in the product code on the one it says zwacos but on the other it says zwaeur!

I bought galaxy s5 g900f some days ago. It is on lollipop and everything works fine except that it does not connect to any 3g network. I have tried everything but no success. Following are the list of things i have tried
I selected wcdma mode only and searched for available networks but no network found
I selected the auto mode but no success
I selected 3 other sims of different networks but no success.
I flashed the uk firmware with different baseband using odin but no success ( previous was poland based)
The same sim works fine on my other handset and there are strong 3g signals. Please note that only for 3 to 5 seconds i got H+ sign on my notifcation bar a day ago.. otherwise its E.
Also my set is not under warrenty so cant go to service center.

My device is Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9007 (Australia version OPS) and I've recently flashed 'new' firmware from sammobile.com to update my modem, bootloader etc. Everything went fine but problem with 3G/H/H+ occured. From some threads here and some from reddit I concluded that this phenomenon with switching between those three is called Fast Dormancy and that isn't bad thing and it should work great. BUT. I doesn't work at all. While switching between 3G and H+ there is no mobile data transfer which is so annoying. On H+ it works great, but when switched to 3G it doesn't. I live in Poland not Australia so I have diffrent bands for 3g etc but on old modem everything was ok, Fast dormancy didn't occured. So I restored old modem and restore old ROM which is MagmaNX but this problem still occured! Even on old modem. So I've done some research again I tried to disable Fast Dormancy with root, I've tried to disable it through service codes 9900 9090 4636 301279. Nothing helped. Best thing is that on LTE it works great, but with LTE on I can see my battery crying.
So I'm asking you, dear Users of xda Developers ( because you can do miracles ) IS there any posibility to get it back going ?
PS. I know its strange that I have model N9007 rather than N9005 but it happend and I couldn't do anything about it (I've got tricked on ebay, sadly)

Hello everyone. I have a samsung galaxy s7 edge (SM G935F) and i recently received the android 8.0.0 from samsung. Downloaded and installed directly via the cellphone.
But after updating i am getting this internet/connection drop issues a lot.
Now a lot of times when im connected in wifi or using the 4g mobile internet, im getting a lot of internet lag/drops. Example: at whatsapp, when i sens a message, the clock appears and only after a little rhe time the message is send.
Example 2: at facebook, somerimes it lags and takes too long to load the content (same happening in instagram). Or at clash of clans, it is showing that symbol of internet issue.
Besides those internet bugs/lags, the android 8.0.0 is ok.
I already did a factory reset yesterday via the phone, and saved the files with smart switch. But the problem persists. I also checked and my wifi internet and my mobile internet are ok.
Does anyone knows how to fix this issue? Is there a newer version of the ROM, maybe? Or if not, is ir possible to downgrade to android 7 again (really wouldnt like this option but....)?
If anyone could help that would be great. But for the record:im really newbie at android stuffs....if you can help, please could you explain step by step?

Another bug i am noticing: besides the internet crash/drop (wifi and 4g), i've noticed that it is taking too long to charge (around 3h...3:30h), even with fast charge.
Does anyone knows how to fix those bugs, or anyone is having those issues ?
Can i flash again the BTU ROM of android 8.0 from UK, with CSC from android 7.x from Brazil (ZTO)??? I mean, is it compatible?

don't try to mix the firmware you may get issues,we should wait one week more till Samsung will release another version of oreo,so lmy advice is flash back nougat using odin 3.12 if u need a good page with high speed of download Samsung firmwares try www.updato.com

I fixed the issue on my device. The problem was having power saving mode enabled, I use to run it all the time on nougat and never had an issue. Yet I turned it off and now there's no connection lag what so ever.
I was having the same issue with btu xeu even custom. On Oreo my wifi switch went totally gray and screen pattern unlock would also take 20-25 sec to unlock but then I flashed this kernel and everything works like a charm.
