Interesting... new baseband. Mine currently says 32.19.00.16U_4.02.02.14. Does this mean we're getting a radio update?
Can you verify that you've been updated to Maps 3.4 and have pinch-to-zoom in Maps, Gallery, and Browser? According to Google, this is part of the update.

Can YOU grab the update from the sd card and post it for us?
Giggity on the update
this maybe a dumb question but if my phone is rooted but I still have everything is stock, I should be able to get the update automatically from the roll out correct?
The update won't be on the sdcard.

Correct
Any idea if this OTA will make it harder to root?

OTA updates work without an sdcard installed. They get downloaded directly to the flash on the phone. I don't remember where, but if you search it shouldn't be too hard to find. Cyanogen has mentioned it.
Once someone with a rooted phone without a custom ROM should be able to snag a copy before it's installed. Or maybe even discover the URL of the update in the phone's log...

No, it will not. Google wants us to have root on this device.
what about free memory?

You said harder as though it took more then 5 minutes to begin with. Unless it has a new SPL to overwrite the current one, then no, it will not be any "harder."
Got a message on phone from AT&T saying update is available for X10 to 2.1 and to download it with companion... Downloading it now

It may still be rolling out. Just like with the Rogers firmware. Not everyone got it at the same time.
Probably... I'll keep checking periodically.... I'll post when I upgrade...
For all those who upgrade to the AT&T 2.1, please upload the firmware so we can post it in the flash tool and firmware thread by Bin4ry.

so is this worth going to over the generic world rom?
It came up with please connect to pc to upgrade to all new 2.1 and said stuff about HD video recording etc so I tried to upgrade it with the world generic within companion and it wouldn't/had some error then I downgraded to 1.6 stock to try to update it to official 2.1 and its saying there is no update again whats up with that?
probably it's false alarm, att dose that all the time on my captivate

You can not update to world generic through PC companion if you are running the AT&T branded firmware. You will have to use the flash tool. Are you running AT&T branded firmware?

You're fine just download the ota update
You can flash any firmware you want it doesn't matter which carrier.
Same thing applies to ota updates it just requires a source version/baseband of BQK5
