What is the logic behind the way the update is seeded anyway? Location? Serial number? Provider? Sun spots?
Whenever there is an update for my Windows PC, Mac, iPhone or NAS it's available for everyone at the same time. With Asus, users have to beg fellow users to share out the package...
Rolling out the OTA in waves is extremely frustrating to say the least. It wasn't until 6 days into the 3.2 update that my device picked it up and now I'm still stuck with that %$£ cursor and a plethora of issues with the solution so near and yet so far...grrrrrrrrrr

Same problem WW 8.6.5.9 would be VERY useful

Asus sucks with this cheap solutions
We need to go to a custom ROM

EDIT: unrooted, applied the update, same error. Probably the problem are the buttons from the Xoom

Unrooted, restored the original SystemUI.apk file, applied the update, same error
Maybe is the booot animation file
EDIT: re-installed the 8.6.5.7 update from Asus website, applied the 8.6.5.9 update, it worked

Where did you find the update on the asus site, I can only find the standard utilities.

You have to choose Android as OS

you can easily check it from http://www.samfirmware.com/ ..just go to firmware tab and scroll down and type ur model number G900F/H/L/S/K whatever it is...you will see what u have

I have the G900F (UK) unlocked. Android 5.0 has been released by Samsung for this model. I just wondering why no over - the - air update available yet whilst you can via KIES

Thanks for stating the obvious. My original question asked if anyone had received the UK OTA update followed by a statement that I know it has been released, hoping someone helpful rather than condescending would reply.

Has anyone else receive an update just now on their pixel xl? It's 33.8mb in size. I disabled the updates and it shows restart to upgrade. -_-

it was a google update. but yes on verizon..

What build is it in your settings now

I got the same update and I'm Verizon running running Google firmware 'L' with elemental kernel and root. The update said it was 45mb

Mine is completely stock, non modified bootloader. No update here yet.

My **** automatically installed it.

I spoke to jcase in the other thread, he stated it was nothing more than the p firmware update since I'm on on L

2BQK5 the 2 stands for bootloader each # or letter has a meaning. And once you take this update there is no going back.

You can download BQK5 to ZQKO on samsung.firmware.science and you will be on the latest oreo beta, oreo beta 4

It's not att specific because it just updates from the specified baseband as verizon and tmobile i think has BQK5

You're fine just download the ota update
You can flash any firmware you want it doesn't matter which carrier.
Same thing applies to ota updates it just requires a source version/baseband of BQK5

Haha I'm lost now!! This new **** is so screwed up!! If I flash this Oreo beta will I not be able to use my at&t things like video calling and my art apps??? I would assume no??

Have not seen this yet on my AT&T S8+. This is not Oreo Beta on page 1, its Version 7.0

Oreo Finally Arrives

This morning I was able to upgrade to Oreo!!!!

Downloading it right now.
Did you notice any sudden changes.?

About phone under settings is different. Cleaner IMO. The text message notifications are a huge difference and way cleaner

I have stuff to make it work on s7 edge sprint. Unfortunately there are no v6 combo firmware for sprint s7 flat

Obviously V5 will not work since your oreo update is v6

There is a post in the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge subject here in XDA with full stock firmware, i can´t post the link because i´m new here.
I used that one and works like a charm.
