Hello guys,i have a really annoying problem with my galaxy tab.
I have the T-Mobile US version and i flashed the Euro firmware to get the calling & messaging capabilities.
Everything went fine flashed with Odin i can call & text message but here is the problem.
It restarts any time i try to lock the screen by the power button.i can't even have it time out and press it to get the lock screen.
Anytime it opens the keyboard it also reboots.
If someone know what causes this or how to fix this annoying problem i will appreciate it.
Thank you in advance
i have same problem after i flashed the Euro firmware ,as i start typing my tab is restart.

I fixed my tab by flashing this:

This is also Euro Firmware.
For the problem with the keyboard i found a workaround just go to options and change to swype method. Then you can install from market different keyboard anyway this doesnt fix the sleep issue.
Let me know if it helps
Hi, I apologise for the new thread if this is covered elsewhere....I have tried to search for this specific issue but can't find it anywhere.
I accepted an OTA update to Lollipop recently (from O2) which I regretted shortly afterwards, as it resulted in inferior battery life, lock screen problems etc. I decided to return back to KitKat and searched for the method to do this. I downloaded the correct 4.4.2 firmware from SamMobile and followed their instructions using Odin v 3.10. The firmware appeared to flash ok (got the green PASS!) but I am now stuck on the Samsung boot screen when I switch on the phone. I've tried reflashing the same firmware again but end up with the same result.
I've tried a battery-out/recovery mode (volume up + home + power) but it won't go into the recovery screen and I end up locked in the Samsung boot screen again.
Can anyone offer any help or advice?
Hi everyone,
I am having a bit of a problem with my s4-i9505. A few weeks ago I upgraded to Android 5.0.1 manually (using Odin) and all seemed to work like a charm. I also rooted it to. So far so good
Last week an OTA was pushed and I mistakenly clicked okay. Suddenly the battery drain was insane. I read up on it and one of the solutions was to clear the cache. I powered down my s4, pressed the Volume Up + Home + Power button and for an instant I saw in small blue letters in the upper left corner: Recovery mode and underneath it the Samsung logo. Then the screen went black and booted normally.
Since then I've tried
using apps that make the S4 boot into recovery
reflashed the stock 5.0.1 firmware
reflashed an older version (4.4.2) causing a bootloop
reflashed the stock 5.0.1 firmware (solving the bootloop)
Flashing CWM recovery using ODIN.
Still only the text Recovery mode shows up, before rebooting and booting up normally.
Does anyone have a solution to my conundrum?
I managed to fix it myself eventually. I did a factory reset from within Android settings. And now i can get back into recovery mode.

Hello guys,
I've a problem with my s5 neo (SM-G903F) my back and menu buttons : in fact, the menu is always lighten (when the screeen is on, even in UPSM, please see the attachment).
Moreover, sometimes the back button isn't responding...
I'm on stock 6.0.1, rooted, I don't have xposed installed.
I've tried to flash other roms (stock and lineage) and to factory reset but the problem is still there.
Any idea ?
Thank you
Was the AMOLED or glass changed? This is not a software problem. Factory reset or reinstall the stock ROM with odin if you believe it is a software problem.
Nothing was changed.
I already flashed with odin stock roms (marshmallow and lolipop) but the problem is still there.
Hi all,
I'm facing a curious issue with my Oneplus 5. I bought it back in July on launch day and though I have rooted and used custom ROMs on all my previous phones, I never got around to doing it on my OP5 (never felt the need, no availability of root early on etc)
I started facing a problem with my mic not registering in Google Assistant/Alexa and while on speakerphone, all while sound recording works fine in recorder apps.
Tried attempting to reset the cache from recovery,
1. On pressing vol down+power while turned off, I get nothing. No vibration or anything.
2. On trying to reboot to recovery by turning on advanced reboot, I'm greeted with the 1+ powered by android splash screen, followed by a black, blank screen. Have to long press power button to get the phone to boot again (takes quite long).
Could anyone help if they are aware of a similar issue, or any ideas to correct the problem? I'd be really grateful.
I'm on latest Oreo Stock update.
