Unlocking the bootloader with Windows 8/8.1 - Sony Cross-Device General

I have an Xperia Z ultra, I came across a thread mentioning Windows 8 but can not find it. At this point, is there a way to get flashtool on Windows 8? So I can install the drivers?
My main goal is to unlock my bootloader and flash a rom.

did it work on 8.0 or are you sure its not user error. You do need to install the adb drivers for your devices.

Yes, worked on 8.0 i installed everything necessary...but no profit :/
On another pc running windows xp it works fine
Report as a bug on Microsoft forums, perhaps to google as well
I don't have 8.1 to test myself or any intention if getting it as a pre release
Still nobody who has any idea?
There's a update for HTC adb drivers for Windows 8.1 check your Windows update.
I would get the current version of the Windows Android SDK. I'll also give this a shot over the weekend and see if it works on my Samsung devices.
same here with HTC One: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45930861&postcount=40
