Hey guys, I have the Nexus player gamepad paired up with my pc but am having trouble with the analog sticks. Windows won't recognize them and neither will xpadder or joy2key. Is there some driver I would need to install or is there something I have missed or more software I need to download? Everything else works fine but I want to be able to use the analog sticks to play some games on my PC too (windows 7).

The answer to your question is yess and nooo!!Unfortunatly you can control only infra devices with universal remote. But in Finnland people had a n experiment with bluetooth, and some of the hous door handle can be opend with bluetooth, but think about the pairing process. It is deadly.I mean work!!
So remote is infra, controlling some starnge things like windows or doors yesssss you can do it with bluetooth, but you need on the other side the receever as well!!

i use SallingClicker alot as a universal remote for my computer. It can control almost anything on your computer (you can create your own scripts)..
Will that work with windows media centre?
works very well with windows media player, but didn't try with media center yet. but you can edit the script easily (javascript)
What about PS3? The PS3 uses a bluetooth remote control which is purchased separately for watching movies and other things. Can we use our bluetooth winmo devices to control a PS3?
Hey so i know there is a way to manually connect a xbox360 wireless controller by editing a file, but is there a way to manually add more buttons and triggers to the wired Xbox controller profile? It connects the controller when plugged in and it works, but the dpad and left joystick are mapped to the same thing and the right joystick plus the triggers don't work at all. Is there a way to manually don't his or do I have to buy an expensive app or something. I'm trying to use emulators with this by the way not dead trigger/GTA/other games.
OK so i have come to the realization that it is nor possible without the app. Bummer. But I'm trying to do it with Ubuntu and Xbox DRV and i have run into a few problems there. Xboxdrv exists but i cant seem to install joydev. Is there a package for the n7? An so i cant seem to unload xpad. It just tells me it does not exist and then tells me it is use and can not be unloaded? In a little confused by that.
Is it possible to pair the Nexus Player ASUS controller with any Android device? I mean is it a general Bluetooth controller one could use for gaming on a tablet, phone, like any other Bluetooth gamepads out there?

You should be able to over Bluetooth which is how it connects tot he NP. I known that emulators support controllers so why not give it a try? If you don't have the NP I'll try it and let you know
My controller successfully gets connected with my phone and my laptop. Just press the home and back button together for a few seconds to get it to pairing mode and the simply pair it via bluetooth.
I don't have a NP, it doesn't seem to be good enough to order (have a Chromecast), with the limited memory and stuff. But the Gamepad looks so cool, I thought why not get it for my Android games? Wanted to have a Bluetooth gamepad anyways for some time...

A normal windows laptop with Bluetooth
What edition of windows? I couldn't see available for pairing it on my MSI GT70 with Windows 8.1 64-bit. Other devices pair just fine.
I got it to pair on my laptop. But the buttons and pads aren't mapped correctly, e.g. it didn't work on Steam Big Picture or on any games. It's stuck going top-right. I assume they have the triggers mapped on the wrong axis. If anyone knows a way to remap the buttons, d-pad and sticks, I'd try it again. And it connected perfectly with my phone (Oneplus One.) I didn't test every button, wouldn't know how. Was able to remap some of them in MAME4Droid.
I paired the np remote with my nexus 6 and have an issue, when using it in Kodi, the select button ( the big center round one) does not do anything, any ideas?
I couldn't pair it with my G4, any tips?
I am just curious to know if i can control nexus player that is connected to my tv with my laptop?
Control in what sense, exactly?
be able to use the keyboard and mouse pad. The nexus Player wont find my laptop using bluetooth.
Hello, is there a way to control s7 edge using laptops keyboard and mouse (preferably by connecting phone to laptop with usb) for playing games like Modern Combat? Or even stream/mirror to pc?
there maybe by using android SDK. this program acts like an android emulator on the pc for your S7E. There maybe one draw back in that the device may become very slow because al commands go through the usb cable.
You can buy a bluetooth gamepad, and the problem is solved Or you can download something like an Android Emulator (I don't know if I can tell you the name), and they already have the settings for Keyboard and mouse (I think).
Finally found a well working android emulator called Nox, its perfect for playing games like Modern combat
I"ve seen a computer mouse or keybord work with the OTG adapter that has been shipped with your S7, you could try that !
