I have just noticed there is no smart scroll feature on my phone.
Used to have it on kitkat but lollipop.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Any workaround?

My question is why did they took it off from lollipop?
I don't want to downgrade but i miss smart scrolling.
Because it was just a crappy gimmick for the majority of people

try Tilt Scroll is not the same but is good :good:
I don't understand how it worked for you! I have tried to see how that thing works (I know how it should) in broad daylight under direct sunlight, but I could never make it work! Not only that, Smart Pause, Smart Stay, none of them worked! I was sure that something is wrong with my eyes, maybe people need to have some different kind of eyes, but then I asked at least a dozen of my friend to try to make it work, they all failed, I sighed knowing I have human eyes. Since then I hated any Smart features, and I am so happy that Lollipop doesn't have most of them.

I'm desperate for this one too. Quick settings take too much real estate. Galaxy note 8 came up with clever way, quick settings move up and disappear as you scroll down the notifications. I need something like that!!!

Hi.. I've kinda abbandoned this, since I haven't use TW roms in quite a while.
Moving on to do mods for roms I have the source code to, instead of all this reverse enginering.

Fair enough. Sadly you were the only one to provide such a mod. I am currently back to TW and I really hate toggles in my notifications.

I'm quite impressed. Performance is a lot better. Still 4.3 of course but a lot lot faster. I've got it from here http://live.samsung-updates.com/index.php?device=SM-P600 . For now there's only a Taiwanese version available, but who cares.

Samsungs namin system is annoying. ML1 is newer than MK1. What differences do you notice?
I would have thought more people would be talking about this.

I used the ported CF auto root from the development section. The method still works. It triggers the KNOX Warranty Counter. But I don't care.

I jumped straight from MJ6 to this one. Can't say anything about the difference with MK1, but compared to MJ6 it is definitely a lot snapier . Much more responsive. Because I use the note on a day to day basis I'm sure it is not a placebo effect. Things just work a lot more smooth. It is a significant boost)

You wont trip the knox flag cause this is a firmware which is signed by samsung. Use Odin to flash it.

ah
i tired it, but i can not notice a significant difference to MK1 except for the missing multi user support....
i just install it over k1.. little snappier..
also the home button wakeup lag is gone to me.
lost the multi user support but i never use i, beside lost some default fonts.
so far notice the different keyboard, I did flash it with ODIN and my knox counter is still at 0 so all good
*update
REally not sure if this is the latest because it has no multi user and the ripple unlock effect screen is there.
So do we have to wait for this to be released in our respective regions or can we just flash the taiwanese version with no sisses? I'm in Canada.
I'm in the u.s. and odin it and it's working very well! Seems a bit smoother. No twitter or watch on, also not able to get purchased videos from the Samsung hub but able to get the purchased apps. Is there a way to side load the twitter app?
Sorry for a noon question but will flashing this in ODIN wipe or just update the appropriate files?

Hey all,
Saw this post on Reddit. This would awesome and make the N6/9 experience that much better....If its true of course. Thoughts?
http://www.reddit.com/r/nexus6/comments/2mqcpl/regarding_multiwindow_feature_for_the_nexus_6/
i believe you can use the xposed module multiwindow feature if you root your device.
There's no xposed on lollipop. It doesnt work with art.

I used this module on my N7 back on Kitkat and it didn't work very well. Most of the apps I tried crashed right away. Hope a native solution works better.
Yeah, it's pretty much inevitable that Google would implement this feature in the near future, given the size of their Nexus 6 phablet, in addition to all of their Nexus tablets. They can't let Samsung have all the glory.

Hello everyone,
I finally rooted my G901F and I'd like to make the home screen rotate like I did on the S3.
The only prob is that with the S3 it was directly included in my Custom ROM, now there is only one ROM for the G901F and it doesn't have this option.
I searched in the Xposed files but I found nothing.
If you know any way to do it please let me know.
Thanks
Really?
Just install a launcher
I want to stay on touchwiz
Which interesting launcher do you propose?
Whichever one you like after you have tested them
well I think I'll use google now launcher.
I'm pretty sure there is a way to do it in Touchwiz, if someone know the trick please let me know.

Samsung locked the screen to portrait mode in the AndroidManifest.xml in the S5 so it can't be changed you need to use a 3rd party launcher if you want landscape rotation, or a custom rom

thx

You can make it rotate actually, if you get app settings from xposed and set orientation to "Normal rotation" it rotates fine.

Thats probably since touchwiz home doesnt support that orientation, nothing will make it look correct.

Yes battery works nicely than any other firmware,if you optimized apps well.
Yeah, it certainly may last for more than a week in always-on-mode. I've never seen a phone like this;; looks far better optimized than Xiaomi's. Great! :good:

No, It's not. It's said it's still a good phone.
Yeah, what I meant by always-on-mode is extremely power-saving mode, the blank screen except a clock maybe. No processors on-going background is still not enough for most of the smart phones to last for couple of days. So pls don't feel sarcastic. :victory: Maybe I am talking too much on your forum???

You can uninstall most of app from flyme from settings. Some of them that we can count in fingers can be moved to a folder and never open it in future. Or else you can unistall those apps with root.

What did you do? Because, if you root the phone, you lose OTA updates, if you choose to put those remaining apps in a folder, can we freeze/stop them so they cannot work in background without using an app?
