I noticed that when i enter download mod on my phone, there is "Write Protection: ENABLE" option. I saw the tutorial video and the phone in the video does not have that option!
any ideas?

Not sure what is that for but it's not the root cause for the flashing error

ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE
I've just updated my Galaxy Note3 SM-N9005 via kies to Build number N9005XXUDMK2 and now I can't root it, It fails every time...
My version is N9005XXUDMJ7 and my build number is N9005XXUDMK2.
I don't know if it has something to do with it, but when I enter download node I see a gray line saying: "Write protection: Enabled".
Can anyone please tell me how can I gain root access again ?
I'm tring to flash this file: "CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.tar.md5" with "Odin3 v3.09.exe"

[Q] Can't flash stock ROM SPH-L720

I installed CyanogenMod 10.2.1 on my rooted Sprint S4. Upon realizing that I could no longer connect my Gear 2 watch to my phone, I would like to reset my phone to factory settings, unrooted, with the stock ROM. I followed the guide at galaxys4root.com (xda won't let me post the outside link, but it is the first result when you Google "galaxy s4 root unroot") and used all the downloads from that page. However, upon trying to flash to my phone, I receive this error in Odin:
<ID:0/005> Added!!
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..

I can then shut down my phone and reboot back into CM just fine, but I really would like to have the stock ROM back so I can use my watch. If anyone could help me with this, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Well there's you problem says you have the l720T version of the s4. You need stock firmware for the sphl720 T version. Search for that specific device

Alright, that was a stupid mistake on my part, I apologize. I'm downloading the L720T firmware from Sammobile now and I also downloaded Sammoblie's suggested ODIN, which is 3.09. I will post the results after the download finished and I try to flash it.

Can anyone helpe me with following trouble? I have a SM-9005 Dubai version.
I tried to flash lolipop 5.0 rom to my device via odin. but when installing system it said fails, even if i tried that several times the result is same. I used Odin 3.09 and then tried V1.85 after reading some suggestions for another guy in similiar situation. But unfortunately didn't help my case. on the device screen i see 3 lines of red messages saying :

is it locked to carrier?
When it fails on NAND write that shouldn't brick your phone because nothing on the device has been written by Odin. Is your device still working or are you just wondering how to flash Lollipop?

So, what do you think about it ?

Can't boot, can't enter recovery mode and can't flash stock ROM with Odin

Hi,
OK guys, I'm really stuck here so any help would be very much appreciated.
I have Galaxy S5 SM-G900F phone.
My current status is pretty much described in the title...
Trying to boot puts me in a boot loop with Warranty Bit: kernel or Warranty bit: recovery (depends if the last thing I flashed was root or recovery - both succeed with Odin)
Trying to enter recovery mode I get Warranty Bit: recovery.
When I try Odin to flash a stock ROM get this:

At this stage I'm pretty desperate. I don't care which ROM or if I'm rooted or nor. Just need something working on my phone.
Help!!
Thanks.

Tried it. didn't change a thing.
But it doesn't matter because i was wrong about the model (came in a 900F box but was actually a 9006V).
Once I tried flashing to correct ROM for my version everything was OK.
Thanks everyone...
