Hello, first of all, I'm from Spain, so sorry my bad english.
Now I'll explain what I did to install the captured 5.0 OTA in my Moto E.
First I flashed stock 4.4.4 ( the indian one, My phone is from Spain, but flash went okay) then I flashed TWRP recovery via fastboot. Later I downloaded flashable zip by @tech_master and installed it via TWRP. And voila, my xt1021 have lollipop 5.0.2
Later i'll post screens.
again sorry for my bad english, and I hope this helps you guys to get LP on xt1021

I'm testing right now, I'll report later. And nope, i'm not in that group.
Screens. All working, wifi, data, calls.
Give this man his thanks!
Nice, I also wanted to flash indian version but I was a little bit of afraid, because I knew baseband will be broken. But seems like it's working when you don't flash the modem.
EDIT: You didn't flash indian modem, right? Because RIL wouldn't work then. (Already did that once, just fixed it by flashing XT1021 modem)

Maybe it is hardware problem, because Moto E speakers and microphone are really sensitive so they get broken really easily. But anyways, I will check it when flashing is done.

It's not a hardware issue. All sounds work (including the hangup tone) EXCEPT the in-call sound.
I tried replacing the "NON-HLOS.bin" (modem/radio) file of XT1022 ROM with the one from XT1021 ROM, still no in-call sound.
was not able to flash the lollipop zip
flashed back my country retail and calls working fine
wait for some stable zip
thnx

You need stock kernel, stock recovery and absolutely no changes in /system partition including root.
Oh, just to be precise - you can actually receive an update if you´re not fully stock but you won´t be able to apply it.
Edit: Philz recovery and root can be actually in place, tested that today.

Thanks my friend! I have the UK version so I am waiting :highfive:
My GPe m7 just got the update notification. I pulled the file from /cache, and here it is.
The SHA1 checksum is in the filename, bad1c593ad07005d8e82754c36caa7e7db9b6cc2. This is not a test release or a beta, so as far as I can tell, I'm the first uploader! My phone is the international m7, running 4.4.4.
NOTE: this is an OTA from 4.4.4 to 5.0.1. It requires the stock recovery from 4.4.4, and so will cannot be installed by people that rooted or manually converted their phone to the Google Play edition. (This means me, in fact. I can't install this! But I'm uploading it in the hopes that a developer can apply the patches manually and make a flashable ROM.) This includes firmware, so installing as a Nandroid backup may or may not work.
EDIT: people in this thread have already uploaded the file and are trying to install it. I suggest browsing there, because here in this thread we haven't figured it out yet!

Link has been changed to androidfilehost, so you can try again. And unfortunately, the installer requires the stock GPe recovery, version 4.4.4. Does anyone know where to find that? I found 4.4.2's recovery by searching the internet, but that doesn't help.

Hey friend, What firmware is? my phone is dead in fastboot, i upgraded the bootloader to 5.1 and not can make to downgrade to kk. you can post the link of firmware of XT1052, Thanks,
I gave you the solution. If you want everything to work with as few problems as possible, run firmware meant for your model phone. You don't put diesel in a gas car and ask why it isn't working right, so why use the wrong software for your phone?

1060 5.1 wasn't released, and customer has Developer Edition - why not give a try to Retail ROM? Nobody is fond of Verizon bloat.
That's why, btw, they "pull the rubber" with the release - a lot of apps and VZ services not ready for Lolli. It's a hypothesis, of course.

that very clear, that if i want few problems i should use the xt1060 fw but since i live outside of u.s and i cant use the "lte" service in my country
i prefer to install other firmware that i also got support for my language and also get lollipop.
and guess what? sine i change to xt1053 fw everything work awesome , and its look that i can use very well gas and diesel in my car =]

Any ROM can be modified to not update boot loader (simple xml edit), but what's the point of this?
If your speaker is bad, reflash your old modem to 5.1
What's the point of this? If you want to go back to kit kat you will brick your phone on the moto x if the bootloader is updated. The amount of complaints about lollipop is enough to not want to update

Downgrade can be made w/o bootloader rewrite, so no bricking. If you downgrade then update via OTA, it will save you only one time. Second time will be brick. So downgrade wisely. High bootloader version isn't evil by itself )

I also started to dig around a little and found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s7/how-to/firmware-stock-sm-g930a-ph1-odin-files-t3458890 its a link to the PH1 firmware. Will you Download it and see if you can flash it? its your only option ATM anyway

That was my thinking. I had a few errors in ODIN, both versions. Also tried several versions of the firmwares from different locations. I got lucky. Hence my hastily FYI on here. Lol

I know it's not the edge but the only thing you lose is the edge screen. It's fine though i understand you dont want to do it. it's a big risk ATM with no edge version of the firmware. Thanks for your time man

I'm having to manually titanium backup every system app and then Uninstall system app updates and reboot to get them to work properly blah
https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/wireless/KM1086930
Now to just get a full stock rom to flash back too... Lol
I flashed the UU firmware, rerooted, fixed network settings and setup my kernel profiles runs wonderfully on that. Now to figure out how to enable WiFi calling with a patched csc

The problem is phone call. Sometime when I call someone or someone call me I hear strange things and I can't hear that person and that person can't hear me it is something's like broken tape, We simply can not understand what is that. But after second or third call I can hear normal.
Sometimes I can hear but that person can't hear me. Im using T-Mobile network and I have change a new T-Mobile SiM but the problem is the same.
I have change sim on the other sim card slot but the same problem.
I don't have root and TWRP Last week I install Oreo Beta and problem is still here.
Please help me to fix this problem
----------------------------------
I will try to back on stable Oxygen:
OnePlus5Oxygen_23_OTA_019_all_1710311604_11573682a759c.zip
Is this a way to back from Oreo to Nougat?
1.Reboot to stock recovery
2-Choose wipe data/wipe everything
3-Click back
4-Install via adb (how with adb? :/)
6-Sideload the zip using your pc
7-reboot
8-When setting up your phone, make sure you don't restore
P. S. Please help me to fix this phone because phone call doesn't work good.
Somebody how to fix this?
Hi,
I have the same problem, I think I have to downgrade to nougat and wait for a stable version because it's a beta.
For the moment, I found a fix for calling bug, try to disable the "cancelling noise in call" in phone app > settings. It work for me.
For video record problem, use an other app.
The best solution it's to downgrade, I found a video on YouTube but I can't find it again
Sorry for my english,
Good luck !

Dear friend,
Thx you a lot
But I have this same problem in Nougat. Will disabling "cancelling noise in call" fix it?
P. S. I can't find it in settings :/
No problem man,
I don't know if the setting is in Nougat because I've never checked it.. But when I've updated my 1+5 to Oreo and have problem with calling, I have search and test many many times and found this option. (In stock phone app)
It's this option :
Tell me if it work for you ?

Yes I find it thx a lot. But he problem is the same. Did I need to reinstall Oreo first? Or what to do?
Try installing True Caller from playstore and use as dialer. Seems to work.

I will try this today.
I find the every time when I call first time I have this problem, or someone call me.
If I call now someone I can't her and that person can't hear me. Second time when I call it is ok.
But if I don't talk with someone 15 minutes, and call again I have same problem.

Doesn't work for me, all phone app available on the play store I have tested doesn't work with or without the "cancelling noise" enabled in stock app..
Today, two calls bugs again.. I'm waiting for a new build but if it's in one week or more, I downgrade to nougat. (But need to unlock bootloader, install TWRP etc..)

So you have the same problem like me? - When you call first time you can't hear nothing and other person can't hear you?
I think that I have same problem on Nougat, maybe on the last updates but I really didn't know what is going on.
I just want to know is this software or hardware problem :'(
Thx you friends for helping me , and sorry for bad English

One time it's when I want to call, an other time it's when someone call me, it's random..
I have received my OnePlus 5 from 2 weeks and I have this bug when I have installed Oreo. Don't worry about that, it's software and not hardware. You just need to be patient and waiting for a fix or you can follow a tuto to unlock your bootloader, install TWRP, install nougat and reinstall (if you want) the stock recovery by OnePlus (not necessary but you have to reinstall it to receive future OTA from OnePlus)
Sorry for my english too, are you french ?
I also had this problem but I decided ... did you solve the problem or should I tell you how to do it?

Go back to stable Nougat, it's the best solution. You just have to unlock your bootloader (erase all of your data so make a backup).
You need a computer with ADB and drivers installed,
- Install TWRP and flash the last stable Nougat version from it (impossible from the stock recovery).
- If you want to receive the future OTA updates, reflash the stock recovery and optional, you can relock your bootloader, like me.
Apparently, the OnePlus 5T will come with Nougat 7.1.1, with have to wait for multiples days to see Oreo on our OnePlus 5 / 5T.
If you are on Oreo, you can't have the OTA to patch the backdoor problems because I'm sure it come again with a new Nougat build.
Of course, if you don't need to call you can stay on this Oreo beta..
10min to downgrade for me, it's very quickly
