I had a couple of spontaneous reboots at start, but other than that this is really smooth and I haven't found any major bugs. I'm running d802. Just beware that you can't access recovery with the vol down + power, but doing reboot recovery from adb works. And for some reason viper4android does not work.

Yes you can still access recovery, but in a different way.
Just press vol down + power as usual when power is off and then press vol down + vol up after the LG logo is shown.

how can i solve your same problem????? thanks so much
It would be awesome if you could upload the 1.1 version to Google Drive or sth. cause the Filehoster you posted is crap. Thanks
All it's ok for me. Great rom.
Best way to go to recovery is installing ROM MANAGER or similar.
So in updated my bootloader to the KK one to get the rom working. Now everything seemed great, except I was not able to get into recovery. Someone (not sure who) said i should use AutoRec, and so i did. But now i'm stuck with a secure boot error. Download mode still works, so not all is lost, but i just wanted to know if there is an easy fix for this, or at least a way to save some of the files on my phone. Thanks.
Warning to all D801 (T-Mobile) users
Wifi does not connect, mobile data only works sometimes then disappears. Do not flash if you are a D801 or you will have this issue, hopefully there is a workaround to this but I am yet to find one.
Abseloutly stunning, even tho this rom is a mess when installing, but if you got it right, you won't dissapointed, i can guarantee it, btw I'm on VS980, thanks for brint it here. good job OP.

Recovery works fine, this ROM doesn't have an option for advance boot though, so if you want to go into recovery/custom recovery, it's just the same method with pressing this combo:
But first make sure your phone is turned off, then Press and hold Power Button + Volume Down Button, after the LG logo shows up release ONLY Power Button and quickly press and hold Power Button again.
with this combo you will go into LG default Hard reset page, but don't worry it's NOT! , to go to recovery page choose Yes and another Yes, and viola!!
hope this help

It is a great shame that I find this thread late on a Sunday, so I am not very keen to experiment right now. But have two burning questions for my d802
1) will it skype?
2) are there any options for kernel control?
And yes I have read the entire thread.(before those people start)

How is the battery life on this ROM?

Hi,
It's here: LG G2 Stock Firmware (Go Back to Stock). There is a link for international LG firmwares.
But here you return to stock.
It's weird you can't boot into recovery... Are you sure that you press correctly the buttons?
ENTER RECOVERY
Method 1: Hold the power button + volume down button until the LG image appears. Once it does let go of the buttons then immediately push and hold them again until recovery boots.
NOTE: The method above will arrive at the "hard reset" area, but when choosing hard reset, it will take you to TWRP (without actually resetting).

hola
LG G2 D802 International version
yes what was weird was my own clumsiness
the closeness of the button area is quite fiddlely if you ask me aka fat fingers
i was panicking a little because i couldnt do a battery pull to stop it looping like on my old samsung note 2
reinstalled the rom from version 1 and flashed the 1.06 update
went into twrp settings and checked <<use rm - rt>> (as suggested on rom developers post)
now clears cache at the normal speed and reboots the system properly
thank you for your suggestions
i will download the stock firmware from the your link
its good to have a plan B in case of future problems
cheers
i Was trying to get rid of the hissing noise on my
Lg g2 D802
i had TWRP installed
I read in a trhead that flashing the dorimanx kernel should fix that problem.
So i tried flash it, but instead of flashing the D802 i flashed the D800, i know i'm an idiot :/
I had a backup stock kernel but i think that's a wrong one too, again i'm an idiot
Now my phone boots into a black screen within the left top corner:
[2800] Fastboot mode started
[2850] udc_start()
i cannot boot into twrp anymore, it's basically bricked.
Can anyone help me recover my phone? i loved that thing, you will be my hero.
i promise when this is resolved i will never mess around with roms and kernels ever agian, i'm freaking out

Thank you for your reply, i tried to get into download mode, but failed every time, i can only press the power button for 5 sec and the Lg logo apears, then i get the same screen.
did this way?
Your phone must be turned off before starting the steps from this guide.
So, press power button and select “power off”.
Then, press the volume up button on your LG G2.
While you are holding the volume up button, plug in your phone’s USB cable.
Keep pressing the Volume up button until the download mode is being displayed.
Now the phone will install some drivers – it should take around 10 minutes to complete; the best will be to let your device install the mentioned drivers.

I did the same thing today by accident. I still can boot into recovery tho, TWRP. Copied the correct kernel file via OTG but it just reboots the recovery and doesn't install the kernel. Have you find any solutions?
EDIT: I actually managed to flash the right kernel and the problem is now fixed. Check everything before flashing something guys, caution
Hi All,
I hoping some kind soul will guide/lend a helping hand here?
Here's my problem, I own an LG G2 d802, running kk4.2.2, rooted via towelroot.
Today I decided to for the first time to delve into the world of custom ROM's and what a mistake it was
Basically I downloaded TWRP for d802(img), gapps(d802 version), and cm Resurrection Remix and then I made the fatal mistake of using Flashify to flash TWRP to my phone and rebooting. After doing this I can no longer enter download mode, recovery mode, and when I try to go to either I get the ERROR: boot certification verify: secure booting error.
When I i plug my phone into my computer (drivers & LG support tool installed) my computer recognizes my device, however it displays around 10 or so removable drives i.e f, g, r etc and lots of messages appear saying i need to format them before they can be used and Support tool doesn't recognize my phone as being connected at all
I have searched lots of threads and now realize that Instead of using Flashify I should have used Autorec(lesson learned), I have also searched for possible solutions and the only
one which looks remotely viable is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582142
My only problem is I have LG G2 d802 32gb model and the files in the above guide/solution are for the LG G2 d802 16gb 10a and even then if they was the correct files I think i would still have a very hard time following/using the files to make my phone live again and also have no knowledge/exp with Linux distro's.
I am a total noob/idiot and don't have a clue how I am going to fix my phone and have pretty much pulled out whats left of my hair in despair!!
Please help me.
Kindest regards, Dark.

I am literally going insane now is there no one here that can even be so kind to say if the above is even the correct way for me to go? or point out a way which may be better or a step by step/link to things I need?
I really don't have the exp/confidence or knowledge to be bale to know if its correct or not and really don't want to make things worse by trying something that may not be right
Can find threads and websites which have similar type situation but all seem to have slightly different to my own as most can seem to have download mode or still be able to boot their OS but i cant do either.
is this below method any use for my situation?

You say in your original post you're running KK 4.2.2. 4.2.2 is Jellybean not KitKat, so which one are you running exactly?
If you didn't use AutoRec your bootloader should still be a Kitkat Bootloader since AutoRec's job is to downgrade your Bootloader to Jellybean.
There are 2 ways to access Recovery Mode on a G2 depending on the current Bootloader.
Method 1 (Jellybean Bootloader)
Turn G2 Off. Hold PWR + VOL DWN, when LG Logo appears let go and hold PWR + VOL DWN.
Method 2 (KitKat Bootloader)
Turn G2 Off. How PWR + VOL DWN, when LG Logo appears, let go and hold VOL UP + VOL DWN.
Do either of those work?

Well since you can't access Recovery Mode, you can't access Download Mode and your receiving a Boot Error, It sounds like your only option here is to follow this tutorial.
As for the files you need, you have a 32GB D802. Download this .7z package and extract it. You'll find all the .img files you need. Now follow the tutorial .

Hi guys, I have a problem with my LG G2 16gb. Today I have upgraded CM 13 with the last nightly. After having flashed Rom and Gapps I rebooted the system. The system runs but with some bugs (dialer crashes, screen doesn't wake up anymore when it goes in standby mode). So I decided to come back to the previous nightly, but I suddenly appreciated that I can't go in recovery mode.
I can go in download mode but both Flashtool and SRKtool don't work. I really don't know how to do.
I admit that I'm not able to resolve 2% problem with the fix.
I read that if I try to flash a firmware 10A then Flashtool should work, but I didn't manage to find a mirror of it.
Someone could help me? I Would be grateful
Same problem here. Flashed from cm-13.0-20160427 to cm-13.0-20160430 and now have the same problems. Using d802 with twrp-3.0.2-0
CM is booting, but has the same bugs as written above - no dialer, once in standby screen doesnt wake up any more.
I tried to reboot in Recovery from booted CM, the Phone is hanging with the "Reboot" on Screen. Same with normal reboot or shutdown. It just hangs. The Combination with the Volume Key Down & Power wont let me in Recovery as usual.
CM13 ist really awesome and nightly to nightly it was getting better, but the nightly today just went that wrong.
Would be nice if there is some solution to get the phone back working.
Thanks a lot for any advice or help!!!
Greetings,
Feldinos

I had some problems with booting into recovery as wel. CM13's latest nightly kept freezing my phone and I wanted to go back to my previous backup, but I couldn't boot into recovery from anywhere. Luckily I remembered that the button combination has changed with the latest bootstack I installed. It'sn now like this:
Force a shutdown by holding the power button. As soon as it goes black, press power + vol down, release as soon as the logo appears and then hold vol down + vol up. Then you should be able to get into recovery.

Thanks a lot for that information! Almost forgotten that i had installed an new boostack as i flashed the first CM13 nightly that was released.
I was now able to get in recovery and flash 04-27 nightly. Now my phone works normal like it does before i flashed 04-30.

Unfortunately for modding, I installed w10. My pc has gotten better, but almost all the programs for modding don't work anymore. In addition to this, I didn't found drivers working well.
I'm thinking about restore w8.1.
There's a way to fix the problem of 2%, but I am not so prepared to use adb.. I'm aware about my limits

You saved my money, because I was starting thinking about a phone's forced change
I came back to cloudy because I wouldn't find myself in this situation once another!

You're welcome As long as you can remember the different button combinations to get into recovery, you shouldn't be afraid to flash roms. Just never forget to make a nandroid backup before upgrading any rom!
If you start to flash roms, you WILL mess up at least once And this time, it wasn't actually your fault, CM13 messed up.

Go through the link below, if you can't find what you need ask again on the link below, and add detail for what version of stock firmware you were on, lollipop is preferred, what version of TWRP you are on, the latest is 3.1.0-0, and if you took the lineage OTA update, OTA is currently causing bootloops to TWRP (read posts before and after post 777.
Don't do anything to partitions from the terminal without backing the partition up first.
There is also a lot of info in the thread, use the thread search function.
