Yeah but only in some countries including usa and turkey
ok thanks for your answers. does anyone know how long will it take to be worldwide (or at least ro)?
and for those who updated, official or not, what can you say about it? how does it move, because i heard it is a little sluggish...
Dont know about the exact release date but its comming very soon, maybe within 10 days.I have some experiance with new market(manual update) and i can say its really little slugish.I think you need to have good data connection above 1Mbps to make it work smooth.Right now iam using old market and its working smooth even with EDGE network

New firmware XXDME1 06.05.2013

Hello everyone,
I just saw in samsung-updates.com the new firmware for eastern countries.
It has the same changelist as DMC3 and DMD2.. what's going on?
Everyone is working on 4.2.2
it seems the same as MC3 with the same changelist :silly:
I wonder why they would release a newer build for Thailand and Indonesia, XXDME1 (06.05.13) when XXDMD2 (18.04.13) hasn't long been out.
Maybe there were issues with the older build and have pushed this new one out to correct something

Yes it's true, I'm from Indonesia, and the update before this made our video recording with no sound. But after I update it with the latest update, the video recording works as usual with the sound. Thank you Samsung! :good:
they only did THIS maquinabaja fix http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265887 or fixed it in some better way:laugh: ?
DME1 ROM
Just downloaded the DME1 from sammobile, tried it and it feels smoother ... I don't know why. The lockscreen reacts better than before.

There was simply a single lib file was corrupted and no reason to believe there may be a better solution than replacing file. So it should be same as thread you mentioned.

I think they're all just late to the party. If you download it check the changelist number.
Oh and on Sammobile it says that the firmware wasn't available on Kies. So maybe now it is and that's why sites are just now reporting it.

Can anyone suggest an app to fix/use instead of camera, to avoid getting the phone to reboot sometimes when using the camera?

[Q] note 4 rom

When the note 4 is released will there be a rom for the note 3 for it? From what I've seen it looks very like the s5 firmware.
Yes, it will be.
And now please delete this stupid thread.

Alright, I'ma start this ?
Look what consumerism and capitalism brought us to! This guy is asking in all seriousness about a ROM port of a device that's been "announced" not even released a few hours ago! But if you say it's his fault, you'll see me flamin' at you. It's society's fault. It's taught him to act like a douche waiting with his mouth wide opened under the dripping faucet of the jit supply chain. And all of you are just shouting at him instead of warning and helping him to overcome his "morbus consume". What else is to come over us, I'm asking you!

I blame Thatcher.
You youngsters have probably never heard of this hideous beast. It brought fear and loathing to a little land a long, long time ago. Destruction and ruin was its legacy. But fear ye not! It died last year.
Need to wait
Seriously, you just need to wait at least 2 months more or less....Until that moment just enjoy your note 3 with its official rom, custom roms or an s5 ported rom :fingers-crossed:

You are asking a question that nobody can answer you.
Did you even think about it before asking ?
I will remind you again, in case you didn't notice it yet : the phone got announced 2 days ago, it's not even available to the public and you're already asking if a rom port will be available. Dude, cmon...

It is more vulnerable to stagefright than ever and mobile radio active battery drain is still there.
Don't know the difference but 48 hours on battery with quite heavy use (almost 15 hours podcast streaming, regularly browsing, sms, calling, music, camera etc) and still 23% to go. That's very good

Disable MMS auto retrieval. Download only from trusted contacts. Thats it. Nothing to worry too much about this bug.
By the way, it's the best lollipop I have tried on my device.

In what exact regions are you guys who received the update? Cause here in the Baltics we don't even have .546 yet. And also, what's the big deal with that stagefright bug? Who uses MMS anyways

The "big deal" with the stagefright bug is the fact that you only need to view an infected video in your MMS/Browser/Mail to probably become hacked.
Just read this: https://blog.lookout.com/blog/2015/07/28/stagefright/
Based on Lookout’s own Stagefright research over the last 24 hours it also appears that multimedia viewed in a browser (e.g. a web video) could be used to deliver a Stagefright attack.

I mean I get it, it can do harm, but what exactly? It was discovered by a security company which created an app to determine the vulnerability to the bug and released an anti-virus software. And when considered that like 99% of the possibility to get 'hacked' can be disabled by the user, it sounds more like a promotion for their products rather than a real threat.

Every video you watch on your Handset could contain a virus, it doesn't matter if it comes over MMS or WWW or Email.
So disabling the MMS autodownload is not a real solution.
