Yes, exactly...

Bought in Poland. But the packaging seems to be dedicated for Spain. User manuals were in ES and PT langs.
Now the question is how do dump the update package from /cache partition without root permissions.
For Portugal the update is out too. Downloading.

@reefuge
Yeah, heard about that. UK and DE users are the only ones in Europe not getting the update yet, right?
After being a Nexus user for years I'm really disappointed. I know it will still be pretty early when I get the update in comparison to other phones but I really miss that Nexus feeling. Unfortunately google decided to make those phones much more expensive now.
Sorry for the offtopic. Let's hope we will get the update and rid off that annoying memory management soon.

it's not as bad as it seems as my 5.0.2 easy installer in signature works on UK and DE (i believe) just converts them to Global models - I will will make versions to convert back when the Official firmware is available:victory:
@reefuge
Saw that and I was thinking about using your script but then I heard that official updates are coming to Europe so I decided to wait. That was last week. If I'd known this would take so much longer I'd have used your script. Whatever, I guess one or two more days are not going to kill me. But I really appreciate your work, thanks for that.
Let's just see who "wins", UK or DE. Since it's not football I guess UK has a chance (sorry, no offense, I just had to )

Got it too, today, in France. Had a problem during setup, after Motorola boot animation, the "updating Android" dialog window showed up, optimized half the apps, and then... black screen. After 10 minutes black screen, I force rebooted it, and it optimized the other half of apps and finished booting up, everything is fine. Strange.
How does this version behave regarding the timestamp? Is it still possible to keep timestamp when copying files using the Total Commander on a rooted device?

Just received my first update, it is build number:
Acer_A500_2.6.36.3_4010.30_COM_GEN1 I had Chinese build on, then I updated
to Acer_A500_1.139.04_4.010.22_COM_GEN1. I updated .22 yesterday and the new update arrived when I started tablet about an hour ago. Can't see any difference. I live in Archbald Pennsylvania if that means anything
Let's make that +2, I also updated from 1.141.01_EMEA_GEN3 (stock, Mexico) to 4.010.22_COM_GEN1 (USA), now I'm getting 4.010.30_COM_GEN1, I'm currently in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
Maybe NOW they're pushing the updates worldwide, at least for COM_GEN1 devices, which is GREAT.
BTW is a 44MB download, I recommend to change the title to 4.010.30_COM_GEN1.
just got the same update. I was also on chinese one and than .22. I don't see any difference at all. I'm from Croatia.

Nice, I want to download .22 > .30, mine also failed the first time, unroot and you can update, do it before because if it fails you need to download the whole update again ((arg)), root works once updated sweet! so root.
I'm trying factory reset after my backup to see if it works and if does or doesn't wipe Acer recovery and cwm, 'cuz if it does and enter a boot loop then I'm a little screwed, will waste 20 more min of my life unbricking
same thing. I had the emea stock of mexico, and i updates manualy to the com with the help of the post here at XDA. Got update .30 20 min ago(i was rooted and everything).
I am glad too see that many people are supporting this great product, specially on mexico where the only real competition the xoom and the ipad monopoly.
Anyone knows what does this update fixes?

No, no one knows but acer, and acer does not publish a change log or changes.
And no, Xoom is not competition for the iconia, almost $ 4,000.00 pesos more expensive, that is freaking $ 340 US dollars +, and no USB!?, only good thing is a better screen (color depth), hell ipad2 is a lot better option than a Xoom, did I mentioned is cheaper.

Decided to take the plunge with this stock ROM. Been running for 25hrs now, Flashed with battery at 100% and as i type this battery is at 70%. Usage has been 60mins Bluetooth audio, installing all my 43 apps from play store, dozen texts, 10mins of calls, 10mins of internet and email. I expect in 28hrs time it will be given its first charge since flashing.
No lag, no heat, brill battery time, and fast n smooth.
Also , something to note for other users, I'm not on Vodafone, in fact I'm on three(uk), this ROM chose the correct csc for me, i had expected to input my carrier settings myself, this was not the case.

Patience, guys. The rollout is happening in phases, and for now only 1% of two specific sales channels get the update. They are the guinea pigs, so to speak. Once everything is fine, the update will be approved for more users.

I got one this week via mobicity uk - ordered it on Tuesday Jan 28th and it arrived on Monday 3rd Feb.
Glad I read the reviews after I'd ordered it (never used mobicity before!!!) but they were great, delivered ontime and for £200 - phone even came with a uk moto charger in the box (but no usb lead).
Very happy with the phone - I have 2 EE sims in it and its perfect - even with the dual sim I'm seeing 2 days of battery life (I often keep data to 2g as I have wifi at home and work).
hoping for kitkat, well maybe - I'm not sure its that big a deal to be honest as its excellent on 4.3

Germany, LTE Z2: Nothing. Tried OTA and Sony Companion; keeps on telling me x.55 is the latest version.
For all you Z2 WiFi jockeys eagerly waiting for x.55: It does NOT solve the touchscreen problems; in fact, my third Z2 with x.55 has far more touchscreen trouble than devices running x.36 - so you really didn't miss a thing.
Nothing here yet in Australia. Disappointing

This update has finally put to rest all the problems I had.
The previous update took care of the touchscreen issue to an extent.but I had problems in certain situations, like when it was docked, sometimes it would never wake up by double tapping.
Now in any orientation, and when docked, it always wakes up, everything now is fine.
BTW, I am LTE version.
