Change ID/region for Meizu MX5, MX4 Pro, m2 note, m1 note, m2, m3 note, m3s and Pro 6
Great thanks to mrpajax from MeizuPolska.pl for preparing this tutorial, I am only translating it (with his agree).
We must have root permissions activated on our phone (settings -> root...) and our os must be not newer than 5.1.3.0A.
At the begining, we must download following:
SuperSU - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.supersu
BusyBox - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox
FlymeLocalizationFree - https://apkpure.com/flymelocalizationfree/com.FLCompanyInc.flyme.flyme_localization
FlymeLocalizationChangeID - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.FLCompany.flyme.flyme_localization_id - for Pro 6, m3s, m3 note and newer models
After downloading, we run apps 1 and 2, and install all required things.
Next we run FlymeLocalizationFree (or Pro).
We confirm reading instruction on first prompt, and on 2nd we click left button.
We select 2nd option from the top (it ends with "I" letter).
We confirm reading warning and we select our device.
After all will be done, our phone should restart.
Now we are able to install Global firmware (download from www.flymeos.com), and receive OTA updates.
NOTICE
After phone restart we must download G firmware and install it manually. If you will have "firmware corrupt" error, try to do the tutorial once again (some people reported that it worked after 2-3 times).
I've taken and been successful. everything is wonderful

Read carefully and do everything like in instruction. There is no possibility it won't work.

Is it true for Meizu Pro 5?
No, for Pro 5 is this one:

2 - this process would work on Meizu mx4 ?

There is a possibility that this will not work. I tried it on my MX5 running a clean installation of FlyMe 5.1.4.0A. Phone is rooted and SuperSU and BusyBox installed fine and the localization switch program finished and rebooted the phone as described. However when I try to install Flyme 5.1.3.0G or the original international version 4.5.2.7I, it comes out with firmware corrupt upon restart.
Try do it on clear installation of 5.1.3.0A

Didn't do any difference. Still get corrupted firmware, so downgrading to 5.1.3.0A didn't do the trick. So this method is probably not going to work for everyone.,
So try 1 more time, Flyme 5.1.2.0 or 5.1.1.0
If it won't work I will ask developer.
But, when you downgrade, don't forget about full wipe data.

Sorry man, but I changed it to Global firmware using another method, that was pretty easy as well and worked right away. So I am pretty sure that something is wrong with this tool.

Taptalk z Meizu Pro 5

Hey,
Can you tell the method you used?
This doesn't work for me either. I have M2mini bought from China with an A version originally installed, which I upgraded some time ago with 4.5.4I. Any help would be appreciated.
Well, many people did it this method
The following solution worked for me (I tried method #1):

Hey guys i just a found a way to activate the newly introduced google assistant on redmi note 3...... You need cm14 or any rom with Android 7.0........
open root Explorer
go to /system and open build. prop
change 'ro.product.model=Redmi note 3' to 'ro.product.model=Pixel XL'
then add 'ro.opa.eligible_device=true' at the end
Then go to settings>applications>google app>storage>manage space and clear all data
then reboot
And meet the assistant
Small bug i found was that we cant set ok Google detection
Source :- http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/guide-how-to-enable-google-assistant
the section might be wrong for post
No need to go for a Nougat ROM.. You can enable it on Marshmallow as well. Try the below tutorial
http://www.droidape.com/get-google-assistant-marshmallow-devices/
I have installed the app directly and I have not had to change anything in the buildprop.
Sorry, install on MM Rom.
Google Assistant on Marshmallow Roms
Check out this Video to know how to Get Google assistant working on 6.x
I have not tried it on MiUi Working fine with Nexus ROM
OK google detection switch tab is force closing..!!??...any solution for that..???
I got this new set and changed from global rom to chinese rom developer version for root. my major concern is the cautionary note by some users that the device routes data to chinese servers. i got the root by a simple method officially, but would like to change from the default app to supersu. what are your thoughts and ideas for this?
So, I've tried so many Pixel Camera ports for my latest Samsung Galaxy A9, but none of it seems to work. I've literally installed and tried more than 30-40 ports but none of them worked. They install properly but force close as soon as I open the app. I really want to see if using the Pixel Camera app will increase the picture quality.
Details about device:
OS: Android 8.0
Processor: SD660
RAM: 8GB
Any more needed information I'm happy to share

Even i am using the samsung galaxy A9 (quad camera )and no google camera port is working ,but it seems that we need to root the devise and run prop editor to enable manual camera settings ,so that google camera port works on our devise

Sir What to edit please tell us the complete procedure
You need to enable api2 on build.prop to make it work
How do I enable api2 on build.prop to make it work?

First you need root access to edit build.prop
Then add this line to file:
persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1
(Maybe the line is there but with =0, just replace 0 for 1)
Then save and reboot.
Is the first Samsung from mew models witch i hear that needs root....?
Seems like we won't be able to make GCam work until we won't get Android 10 update, I tried many many many many ways of getting GCam work, I changed build.prop, tried over 50+ camera's, executed many commands on ADB, none of it works for us now. So... Let's wait for Andoird 10.
I don't think you can either or you have found something that works for us (I think buying this device has been the worst and expensive investment)
Read the title and share apks if you have ,plz
Impossible, already tried. Even if you install the apk it doesn't work, I think you should look for the missing files text as well.
