Ending a call gives temporary distorted sound - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I seem to have a very weird, consistent issue with every custom rom I flash.
Every time a phone call ends, my sound gets very distorted, until I lock/unlock my phone. (Navbar sounds, lock sounds, every UI sound)
This bug happens on official ROMs and unofficial ROMs. Actually, there hasn't been one ROM yet where this hasn't happened to me.
So far I've found one other thread mentioning this problem but with no set solution.

Does anyone have any idea why or how this could be happening?

LG G2 - Sound distortion after phone call

Hi,
I searched many threads for my problem and I saw it mentioned in a few places, but there was no solution.
I've flashed the latest nightly build of omnirom (20 Jan - but this happend to me on older builds, from november, december). As it requires, I also flashed a JB modem (or modified kk - tried both). But, when I use any jb/modified kk modems, after any phone call, the speaker sound becomes very distorted for a random period of time (sometimes a few seconds, sometimes until screen lock/unlock, sometimes even after screen lock/unlock). All sounds are distorted (system, notifications ..). This happens only after phone calls.
When I tryed with an original KK modem this problem does not appear, but then the ROM does not work properly (no auto rotation). I can also mention that this problem does not appear if I use the headset, only when on speaker.
Has anyone encountered this problem? This happens for me with other ROMs too (CM11, CM12 (there are official nightlies), SlimKat), but on others not (like Paranoid, LiquidSmooth). Also, this problem does not appear on Stock rom (maybe because there an unmodified KK modem is used?).
Thanks.
Same issue here. I only use hangouts and it happens on my CM12 or CM11 based ROMS. Sound distortion throughout system until I lock/unlock or change sound settings (raise/lower volume).
I've seen a few ROM developers say it was a bug in their ROM they're trying to fix but I've never seen any working solutions as of yet. I hope someone can figure out what the issue if. I may have to go back to stock if this is the case :/

N910G Lollipop 5.1.1 Notification Sound low volume + echo problem

Hello,
Recently bought a new Note 4 N910G grey market from Hong Kong, and want to figure out if the problem I am having is some dumb software problem, or a possible hardware issue I should be worried about.
The Problem:
Notification sounds seemingly randomly echo or play very softly or get cut-off or start halfway through... it's difficult to tell exactly or to tell if it's doing the same thing each time it happens. Often the second sound will be fine and the normal volume. It sometimes sounds like the sound is playing twice at the same time but too soft and out of sync. I may get two Facebook notifications (for example - as far as I can tell it happens to all notifications) and the first will be this odd soft sound (which I believe is the correct sound I have chosen being played, but with either a large echo or something, and far too soft) and then the second one will be totally normal.
I haven't noticed any issues playing audio. Just with notifications. Seems to happen with the screen on or off.
N910G with OTA update to 5.1.1, XSA variant.
My custom notification sounds are on external sd card, but I think it's happened to some that aren't as well - like the inbuilt Skype sound which I can't change.
Anyone else have this problem? Does it sound like software, or hardware? Any idea how to troubleshoot or fix it?
Thanks heaps.
No one?

Super annoying sound glitch!

I just did a hard reset and since then I have a super annoying sound glitch. Whether it's when I skip a song, get a notification or start a video with headphones on, I hear a click before the sound starts and after it stops.
What can I do to get rid of this annoyance? This has never happened before.
Thanks!
Strangely enough, it doesn't happen with CyanogenMod... :/
So it's clearly a software issue
Alright well I've found a way to get rid of it. Simply by activating and deactivating the equalizer. I don't know why exactly but now it's working fine.

I think my Vibration Motor is Dead

I have a S7e (G935F) and instead of vibrating it makes a beep sound, at first i tought it was a notification sound from a App but its really the vibrationg motor. And i already tripped knox, before i was on a Custom Rom on the Custom Rom the Vibration Motor worked normal but now it only makes a beep sound.
Any one has a Idea so solve this error?
Greetings MrSyrux
I also just noticed instead of vibrating it makes the Beep sound, thats something i have never seen.
I do have that issue too...when i installed the superman rom...i think the vibrator died...
Try flash bootloader according to the rom you are using now. Usually vibration does not appear when we use rom base 6.0.1 but we use bootloader 7.0.1

Beeping when on call (and after!) post upgrade to Oreo

Hi, I have a very annoying issue, not sure if ROM related. I Google searched but too many unrelated results for the search terms.
Since upgrading my phone from stock Nougat to Oreo (latest Galaxy Project) I have the following issue:
Basically, when on a phone call, after ~5 min, a constant beeping noise starts. The beeping is the same as the first default notification sound, but changing the notification tone to something different does not affect the beeping. The beeping doesn't stop even when the call ends. Sometimes closing all apps makes it stop but other times I have to restart the phone.
I've turned off NFC, and disabled call reminders.
Has anyone encountered such an issue?
