The images are not from oxygen OS. H2O OS for chinese market. If you go on official youtube of Oneplus you'll see a video of oxygen OS.

Yeah, those images are fakes, not of Oxygen.

I bet the camera is better on h2o, like on coloros

I thought it was hydrogen OS, so H OS and not H2O...?

I was actually hoping that Oxygen OS wouldn't just be another stock Android ROM. I mean we already have CM11S with the OTA for CM12S coming later this month. The regular CM12 nightlies are also available as is ParanoidAndroid. Even though those screenshots that leaked are of H2OS for China, I hope there is an option for something different when everything is revealed on Thursday.

My understanding is with the fallout with Cyanogen and OnePlus there will be no CM12S. There will be CM12 (same way there was CM11 and CM11S). OxygenOS is the CM12S (not literally but metaphorically)

nope. I dont know where you get your informations but they are wrong.
Even the CM team acknowledge CM12S on Twitter : Lollipop build for @oneplus one has entered QA/QE stage for release! Testing & cert to begin alongside 3rd party partners to meet GMS reqs.
I cant post a link because of the rules applied for new members so you will have to google it.

Nope. There is going to be CM12S, Steve Kondik has even said it's being released this month. It's been talked about a lot.

OxygenOS (last hour before release)
The real release date will be this year ... maybe. New information about OxygenOS will be released on 12 February 2015.:laugh::laugh:

I think for those that are expecting to flash OxygenOS tomorrow will be greatly disappointed. All OP said is that more information is forthcoming on 2/12, not that code will be available. There's even a sticky posted by a mod over at the OP threads that clarifies this: https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/frequently-asked-questions-oxygenos.262648/ (second FAQ)

They never said it'll be released on 2-12. They said more info so that means more info on the features, release dates, and etc.

Didn't see that, don't follow the oneplus forum... O well still have CM12 ?

OxyOS
A fb post from feb 6 says "They're here. ‪#‎OxygenOS‬" Feb 12.
Makes it sound like it's release, but perhaps its just more info as already mentioned

I think unofficial will be out sooner 1-2 week/s.
edit: It looks like they're throwing away the bloatware, that could mean that we will get M very soon.
https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/prod_answer_detail/a_id/108264
I think we will get it sooner than we got 5.0.2, the device has a little more than 1 year, and Motorola has been planning to take us directly to 6.0 for a while, thats why we didn´t get 5.1.1. It wouldn't make sense to buiId a new rom and 2 or 3 months later do it again.
Generally, Motorola devices will probably get the update sooner than before because there are some features that they will not implant like they said on official site.
I also think that Moto g 2014 will be one of the first to get the update, since Moto G 2015 and new Moto X's already have 5.1.1 out of the box, so they can wait a little bit more.
What is happening is exactly like Moto G 2013:
-they got the 5.1.1 earlier straight from KK, but they won't get 6.0;
-we will get 6.0 earlier straight from 5.0.2 but will not get further updates, at least more than 6.0.x or so.
Anyway, if it comes before December it would be awesome, but we must keep waiting, at least for the official rom.

Can the developers work right now creating an Android 6.0 ROM? Or they must wait until kernel sources are released? I'm a total noob about this so I have no idea. Thanks!

We´ll get it first from our devs than motorola no doubt. How soon, dunno, let´s wait.
I'm trying to work with the AOSP 6.0 and make some changes on device tree but I don't have much experience. If have others developers working in this with we will get Marshmallow soon.

Also, I've seen this article http://www.androidstandard.com/android-m-for-moto-g-features-and-release-date/ saying this:
According to latest reports, it has been confirmed that Google will release the Android 6.0 Marshmallow on September 29th. So Motorola may start the rollout to Moto G 3rd Gen in the US in October. Moto G 2nd Gen Google play editions will also receive the Android 6.0 update in October or November. We will update this article with the timeline of rollout of the Marshmallow updates to Moto G series soon.

We have broken in call volume, broken gps, no theme support and lots of other random bugs still - and you ask why Marshmallow??
You don't base ROMs on buggy beta/alpha releases. You build new ROMs on "stable" releases.

But I mean why put out a new ROM based on a soon to be "old" Android m? Nougat ROMs are already being made. Cm13 isn't going to appeal to those who want to stay up to date.

Why not? Cm 14 nighties are out. May be buggy, but soon enough they'll be more stable and this will then be a bit outdated.

Synchronized code with OSS 3.2.6
PS: you need to flash the firmware for cm14.1 (based on OSS 3.2.6) or the home button will not work.

So.... to avoid all confusion this has been rebased to firmwares known to work with cm 14.1 correct?... so (theoretically) that would include 3.5.5 CB FW (works with almost all MM roms - tried DU, RR, [email protected] least has for me} and newest beta 7 FW {same} I agree with you and your "if it aint broke" mentality. a solid 1/3 of android users are still on KitKat so running MM is not a "NO GO" for me anyway. keep up the good work will flash newest and post logs ofc..
will this LMT overwrite my current LMT data? i use it all the time and find it leaps and bounds above and beyond your standard "PA" pie feature.

Everything is working flawlessly and my opinion is that there won't be differences between this and the stable one and if there will be the open beta will surely have something more(in testing)than the stable firmware(it's the only explaination for why they released beta and stable the same day) . :good:

Oneplus withdraws the OOS 5.0 Oreo Update

Hi All Oneplus has withdrawn the OOS 5.0 Oreo Update. Since lots of community members had complained regarding the issues such as heavy battery drain, Auto fill not working, PIP not working, Random reboot(rarely), etc. Oneplus has withdrawn Oreo update. Even i faces some issues after updating to OOS 5.0, however after a factory reset every seems to be working fine and OOS 5.0 is pretty stable. I had also contacted the oneplus support regarding this concern they confirmed that, It is true and the OOS Devs are working round the clock fix the issues and make the OOS 5.0 more stable release a fresh Oreo update. They also confirmed the as of now there no issues in running OOS 5.0 on your 3(T) if u are not facing any issues.

I wouldn't trust the support team at OnePlus. They're really lax at their job, and they'll say anything to end the RMA ticket. There have been no such alerts on OnePlus forums, and a withdrawal of an update would be a subject that would be heavily discussed there.

I would suggest that if a company were to "withdraw" a piece of software the first thing they would do would be take it down from their website.
I'm not sure this claim has a great deal of credibility based on the evidence seen so far.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Interesting, ordered my phone yesterday, due to Chinese New Year, it will probably shipped next month (and will arrive the month after due to being a China's import lol), I will keep an eye on this thread, let's see how the things are going until then.
Good work so far sir.

Why do you think this thread is dead? Development just has started, wait until the Note 5 officially come out, it's the same device as the Redmi 5 plus, development will get better the next months if you ask me.
