[Q] Problems with updating bootloader / modem

edit:
I finally managed now to flash DBT NB4 with PIT..
Hello guys,
I have some problems with my N9005.
First problem:
I tried to update my bootloader, also modem witn Odin 3.09
BL: NA6
Modem: NA2
Tried to update bootloader to ND5, also tried modem to NC2. I used key combo to get into download mode.
Auto Reboot and F Reset Time ticked, nothing else. Tried one by one, first BL with BL tab, modem with CP tab
Nothing changed after reboot... still NA6 and NA2
I also used mobile odin, skips modem cuz of write protection. This also is readable in download mode.
Second problem:
After every reboot (normal, recovery, etc.) the time is reset, you have to config manually or let it grab frome time-servers.
Annoying...
Can anyone help me?
Can anyone help me?
I tried to flash N9005XXUENB7_N9005DBTENB2_N9005XXUENB1_HOME.tar.md5 with PDA tab now, with hidden.img it stopped with FAIL (size)
So I used the pit file for DBT and tried again, still FAIL! (Size)
Note 3 now starts only to download mode with firmware upgrade error warning...

Sometimes pit file is needed for certain firmware.

When updating bootloader and modem, u have to shutdown phone completely before the 3 combos. And do it one by one at the correct tab.

problem of reboot in download mode

Hello everybody,
I have a problem with my galaxy note 4 910F - Kyubi Rom Note 5 V3 light - Debloated
It is rebooting into download mode often. Before it works perfectly then it starts to freeze screens and be very slow.
This issue just started few days ago and it happens 20 times per day.
Is it just the phone which starts to be old?
The error message appears in download mode:
"could not do normal boot.
ddi : mmc_read failed
ODIN MODE (High speed)
Product Name: SM-910F
Current binaey: Samsung Offcial
System status: Custom
Reactivation Lock: OFF
Knox warranty Void: 0x1 (0)
Qualcomm secureboot : Enable (CSB)
RP SWREV: S1, T1, R1, A1, P1
Secure download : Enable
UDC Start"
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
Alex.

Flash SM-910F pit file + Latest stock firmware in odin mode all together in 1 flashing process...dont forget to mark repatriation in odin when using pit file.
When you got pass on odin and phone reboot and you see Samsung logo...fast take battery out and wait 1 min , put battery back and hold combo to enter stock recovery and do factory reset.
Good luck

3- I really did as described but I think i got a trouble during flashing the first time. it failed a first time. So i disconnected i took over the battery to turn off the phone as it was stuck on download mode with the progression bar stuck as well. Then I connected with a new cable ,and retried once again... and this error message...

Ok thats good you can enter download mode thats mean your phone is still alive
Now try this steps 1 hold down power key ,menu key and volume up key all together at same time until you enter recovery , in recovery do factory reset if it is stock recovery if it is custom press advanced wipe and check all boxes so you do full wipe with sistem ,chache, data ,dalvik chache and internal .
When you done factory reset pull battery out , put back in and flash again stock firmware + pit file in (ODIN 3.10 ) <-----USE ODIN VERSION ...and check repartition when using pit file for your device.
Let me know how it go if fail il post you links for stock rom and odin .

I used TWRP, it worked fine for the previous operations! Thanks a lot!!
However, now I flashed the stock firmware, I have the same problem... kind of...
Using my phone normally, then suddenly it gets laggy (even if I am not using a lot, just scrolling the home pages) and then it freezes and reboot and go in some kind of download mode with:
"Kernel Panic!
KRAIT INFO
Panic caller: mdm_subsys_powerup+0xf0/0x12c
Panic Msg: CP BOOT UP FAIL - ?EED CP DUMP
Thread : mdm_helper_prox:445

wait...
Done!

... some help please?

Ok thats good you can enter download mode thats mean your phone is still alive
Now try this steps 1 hold down power key ,menu key and volume up key all together at same time until you enter recovery , in recovery do factory reset if it is stock recovery if it is custom press advanced wipe and check all boxes so you do full wipe with sistem ,chache, data ,dalvik chache and internal .
When you done factory reset pull battery out , put back in and flash again stock firmware + pit file in (ODIN 3.10 ) <-----USE ODIN VERSION ...and check repartition when using pit file for your device.

I managed to do this. Thank you. feels better to have something else on the screen than download mode screen.
But now i still got almost the same problem...
Working fine and then suddenly freeze and reboot.
And sometimes , reboot and black screen With "kernel panic!"
Kernel problem? How could i solve this?

Samsung Galaxy S5. Cant flash stock rom and Update it with kies.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) is stuck at the boot screen and keeps restarting. I cant go into recovery mode. I can only go into the download mode. I tried to flash it with odin and update it with kies. But none of it works.
At the download mode screen it says:
ODIN : flash read failure
Error: There is no pit binary
Odin screen:
<ID:0/013> Odin engine v(ID:3.1101)..
<ID:0/013> File analysis..
<ID:0/013> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/013> Initialzation..
<ID:0/013> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/013>
<ID:0/013> There is no PIT partition.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
Any help will be appreciated
Got your back.
Hey man just make sure you closed odin completely.
1. Start Kies
2.Click Tools-> Firmware upgrade and initilazation
3.Type in model of your phone for example sm-g900i which is my Australian S5 then it will ask you for your SN which is a 16 digit code serial number located on the back of your phone when you remove the battery.
Then just follow steps until it asks YOUR phone to be connected... DONT connect it yet...first put it in download mode; phone turned off; press home but, power but, and vol down bot at same time then press vol up key to enter download mode.
Connect phone; then just wait 1 hour and voila you got your phome with latest stock firmware.
Please reply to us if this worked for you as this can help new users to determine what to do.
Cheers
Sorry but English is not my first language, hope i made myself clear.
If there is anything else i can do to assist please let me know.
Which Kies works with the S5? Because neither seem to be working
I'm having pretty much the same problem, had a bad flash and can't boot into recovery or get it detected in Kies
And I can't flash stock Marshmallow or Lollipop till I finish downloading them
Going through firmware upgrade and installation option and putting in the model just causes Kies to freeze using either version

Kies will automaticlly download the correct atock fw.....just use Kies lite versiom which is the one i used a couple of days ago and had exactly the same problem as you i actually had a corrupter pit file so there was no partition being found...again install and use lite kies for samsung then just dlow the steps ut should automatically download the firmware and install it into samsung at the same time you shpuld not remove the cable whatsoever during download and installation and actually make sure yu have the drivers for samsung installed and that the usb cable you are using is original....hope it works if you need a detailed guide with instalation steps let me know or heck i cpuld even help out with a video just let me know.
Hope you get it sorted and if you do please let us all know so in the furute people can see the answer.
Cheers.
It's alright I fixed it now, still couldn't get Kies to work
I flashed the latest version of Lollipop (no carrier) to the phone, which initially sent it into a bootloop. But that enabled recovery again so I did a data and cache wipe, flashed the same ROM from ODIN again and it worked

Fully Updated Sprint G930P bootlooping after Odin flash - SW REV CHECK FAIL Error

I got this S7, wanted to flash 930U firmware to use T-Mobile but a failed flash has me in a boot loop. I fully updated before trying to flash, so it is I assume on the newest bootloader, etc.
I have attempted the newest firmware files that I can find (G930AUCS4BQL1) but am still getting the SW REV CHECK FAIL through Odin.
Are there files available that will fix this, do I just need to wait for them to come out, or have I bricked this thing?
Thanks for any help and have a great day!
Update:
- Using PrinceComsy Odin results in: FAIL! (Auth)
- USB Debugging is OFF and I am unable to boot to change that
- I am leaving the BL file blank in ODIN
perhaps you should try using offcial odin when flashing official images.
try version 3.12.3. whatever you do, don't use the princecomsy version unless for flashing engboot

I expected my phone to reboot automatically but then it didn't and i tried to reboot it using the software but it failed and i had to restart it manually.
Tried to boot into recovery and still found the stock android recovery. Any help ?
Odin --> Options --> Uncheck "Auto Reboot".
