Hi
Just thought I would add some info on how to change your Product code for your SGS2 as lot of people are flashing new different firmwares and some want to go to their original product codes.
This is only for non-rooted devices flashed through ODIN, I don't know if it works with rooted devices:
1 ] Check your Product Code
*2767*4387264636#
2 ] Get your IMEI and write it down somewhere
*#06#
3 ] To change your product code ( This will wipe your phone)
*#272*IMEI# (where IMEI is your own IMEI number)
You will have a list of available codes to choose from install the one which applies to you and you phone will wipe and reboot.
Please note : The firmware you download should be a multi CSC and be having your country code eg: the new 2.3.5 nordic firmware doesn't have the XEU code which is for UK but the 2.3.4 KG5 has
So this won't work for all the firmwares as they will be region dependent so you must flash the corresponding firmware closest to your region.

I Want Upgrade My Stock Firmware....
How To Find Best Matched Firmware ?
GT-I9500
You go to sammobile.com, write your device model there, then select the country and carrier network of your sim. It will give you the latest firmware.
@GDReaper Thankyou
Hello,
I picked up a Claro (Argentina) i9500 from eBay that said it was unlocked. My telecom is Rogers and Canada and the phone prompts me to enter an unlock code. Well before I go through the hassle of an eBay return (the seller was in California) I wanted to try to unlock it myself. Unfortunately the options to unlock are not available on my phone (Guide I Tried). I also tried the unlock service UnlockCode4U.com but they were unable to find a code and refunded me the cost.
So I've seen that for the i9505 variant you can flash the ME2 modem and access the *#0011# menu options but I haven't found a corresponding modem for the i9500. My baseband is I9500UBUHOK1 and I'm using Atom ROM.
Can anyone offer any insight or a baseband that I can flash before I attempt to return the phone?
Any help will be appreciated.
==EDIT==
I'm not actually entirely sure WHERE the phone is from. Using the Samsung Phone Info app on the Play Store is shows me this:
FIRMWARE
Bootloader Version: I9500BUHOL1
PDA Version: I9500XXUHOB8
CSC Version: I9500SERHOB8
Baseband Version: I9500UBUHOK1
Latest Firmware: I9500XXUHOK5/I9500SERHOK1/I9500XXUHOD4
CSC CODE
Product Code: GT-I9500ZKLSER
Original CSC Code: SER
Firmware's CSC Code: SER
Active CSC Code: SER
CSC Country: Russia/RU
Mobile Operator: 302720 (Rogers, but probably set from inserting SIM card)
So the fact that it is from Argentina was wrong I'm guessing, as the SER code is Serbia/Russia but Claro was on the original firmware and doesn't seem to operate in Russia. I think it's easier at this point to just return it.
Hi all, I'm in the UK and it seems a lovely ebay seller sold me a Verizon s5 g900f (but also shows the following.....
b/l G900VVRU2BOE1
PDA G900FXXU2BOG5
CSC G900VVZW2BOE1
PRODUCT CODE - NOT ACTIVE
ORIGINAL CSC - VZW
F/W CSC CODE - XSG
ACTIVE CSC - VZW/XSG
CSC COUNTRY - USA/US
PHONE MODEL - SM-G900F
SAMSUNG SERIAL - 00000000000
(too long ago now to return),
which is currently stuck on android 5 - with software updater not doing a thing.
Am I able to get this to android 6 and or uk/international version please?
TIA
