I have upgraded to kk 4.4.4, Since I upgrade I have problem to select options using dial pad. From contacts or using dial entering nos in dial pad I can make calls but like when I need to call customer support I can dial there no and connects but when computer gives options like press 1 for voice mail 2 to someone at that time when press nos at dial pad does nothing. I can hear key tone pressed but doesn't select in their options. I can't even listen my voice mail. when dial voice mail it connection and when gives options keypad press high lights and key tone sounds but no selection. i have tried changing one hand options and installing other dialing apps like exdialer, rocket dialer nothing working. When used 3rd party dialer just dial pad changes and when at options selection it shows again stock dial pad. And one more thing when I'm talking on phone and if I get second call phone disconnects.

I have Cingular service inside the United States, on my normal cell phone, not my PDA I have voicemail after like 6 rings, and then I dial a number, enter my password and get my voicemail, I know I can dial a number on my PDA and enter my password and check voicemail but will it automatically after 6 rings or so bring them to the voicemail, and can I record my own answering machine thinG? ANyone that has done this plz help.
it sounds very much like your answering machine is located at the phone company and have 100% nothing to do with your phone
so it should work the same way no matter which type of phone you use
and if your phone company let you record your own greating then you can do it with what ever phone you want
As I am using the below mentioned OS version and Radio. I have a call barring for all outgoing INTERNATIONAL calls. Whenever I need to dial an int'l call. Thru the built-in selection for disabling the bar code, this options pops an error saying to check my phone settings!
But when I use the dial buttons to press the keys combination which my ISP provides #331*----# (dash are digits), this works on the spot in either cases, the on and off!
Any help

I bought VC 1.6 to use with a Cingular 8525. I was prepared to cope with the BT headset issue, but ran into another problem.
When I try a voice dial using a contact entry, the program finds the contact and specific number without any problem. However, it does not dial the number. I have to press the Enter part of the D ring, The contact closes after a few seconds if I don't.
The phone dials fine if I speak a phone number instead of a contact entry.
Has anybody else seen this problem. Any ideas?
Thanks.
It should repeat what you said to confirm that this is the number you want to dial. Say "Yes", and it should dial for you.

If you are unable to resolve this problem, try uninstalling and reinstalling.
Make sure that when you reboot after installing that you don't pull the battery to do it. The registry may not be flushed to the NAND if you take this approach and it may result in an incorrect installation.
A second unin-reinstall did the trick.
Thanks.
I have succefully configured VOIP on my HTC cruise but cannot dial out. it seems that the problems is the phone number format. if i dial for example 555789456 when i press send the phone will automatically reformat the number to (555) 789-456 and i think that the problem comes from the ( ) and the dash - .
does anyone know how can i disable the phone number reformatting ?
I have a brand new Ozone that I need to activate. The only number the phone will let me dial is *228. I'm using page plus, so I need to dial *22890. How the hell do I accomplish that when I can't dial anything? When I try to dial it tells me to press the send key to activate.
First you should have already activated your phone though PagePlus or a PagePlus dealer. If you have that done you can program the phone by using *228 and hitting option 1. I would assume it will work fine if you just click activate. However I didn't risk it. Just click activate, followed immediately by end to bypass the screen. Then I used the emergency call option and dialed *228 and then option 1 (it won't allow you to do *22890). This process worked just fine for my Ozone on PagePlus.
