Hey community!
On my new Samsung Galaxy S5 a remote app was preinstalled: 'Smart Remote'. So, what Samsung's WatchON-App? I manually installed it via Samsung Apps, but the app doesn't work. When I open it, it asks my about my country (Austria). So, then I press OK and it'll keep loading forever. So I uninstalled the app and installed it from the Play Store, but the same thing happenes.
Has anyone got an idea what to do? Thanks...

When selecting My Apps on Google Play web site I can only see half of my apps.
I have about 250 apps installed from Google.
You able to fix market links using Titanium backup?

i encountered this problem once...
i forgot how i fixed it, probably by rebooting or logging in different google account...
Try to delete data of Google play in setting - application
then restart phone
This is on the Google Play web site, not on the phone.
I just noticed this problem too.
If you install apps via apk (eg. applications you got on xda) that Google has no record of on the play store, they won't show up.
Hey guys,
I'm having the same issues with my stock Galaxy S III. A couple of hours ago, I became 4 fresh devices directly from the Authorized dealer here where I live. I wanted to update them and set them up properly for my co-workers. I've installed 4.1.1 on all 4, with kernel 3.0.31-256827. Everything went smooth on all devices and I was really fascinating what a wonderful device that is. Afterwards I've created 4 Gmail accounts for all of them (from the same IP address) to install the needed apps from GooglePlay. But one, somehow, someway didn't show any pre-installed apps in GooglePlay, such as GoogleMaps, Gmail, Google+, which should appear, because they're installed same procedure in each case (every device has got the same versione, same firmware,..).
..to focusing back on little-vince's post;
I hope that's not true.
I don't know the way these apps were installed or cooked into, but 3 of 4 phones went smoothly in my case.
All 4 were before the update on the same version, which I did not wrote down. The problem also is, that on another device I had the problem to update the apps via GooglePlay which were shown. There basically was an *update* sign, but when I clicked it there was the text that it's not available in my area.
I somehow think, that the problem is somewhere in the language/locales.
I've switched between the default language on the phone, rebooted it, and somehow I made it work on the second device to run updates,
but on the first device, not even a single installed app shows up, which is funny :silly:
I've also tried to clear cache, wipe everything, factory reset etc.., but it didn't worked out.
If you find a solution, I'd be glad to know.
Sir, you stated Galaxy S III, you do know this is the GNote >>Galaxy Note GT-N7000. Unless you are ref to the GNote 7000.
But I glad you used the Search button to bring this thread up...from June - Sept.
I had this problem once and it was because I changed the screen resolution (lcd density). Google play understands this modification as a "not compatible device", so some apps doesnt´t show at "My apps".
Before that I tried a lot of solutions, like cleaning the google play cache, etc., but nothing worked.

I am a total newbie, so please bear with me. I had never heard of rooting a phone until I got the Galaxy S4 i337. I saw that the Golden Eye was good for starters, so that is what I put on my phone. I followed directions to the letter and it worked perfectly!!! So thanks for that. Anyway, now that I have it rooted, I noticed a couple things that don't work. The screen mirroring is one of them. I have a friend with an unrooted S4 Active that can see me on the network (I was sitting right next to him) but when he tried to connect, it failed. He also could mirror his phone to the TV. When I pull up screen mirroring, it says that there are no devices to connect to. I didn't know if that was right with this rom, or maybe a setting I haven't found yet. I also have the active apps widget and Greenify to let me know what apps are running, but when I go into the ram manager and hit clear memory, it tells me anywhere from 20-35 apps were killed, and this is when I am not even using the phone. I can do it again 10 minutes later and it says it still killed a bunch of apps. I thought rooting my phone was supposed to help with that, no? And if not, what would you recommend for an app to help. Maybe a different rom would be better? My concern has been with the battery not lasting very long. Thanks!!!

Goldeneye is a very good rom for beginners & vets alike. I would recommend it to anyone as far as that goes. But to answer your question you would need to install the addons called Samsung crap pack in the addon section in op. He took out those apk's because a lot of people prefer not to have all those features for whatever reasons so he just added a flashable zip in the addons for those that do.
Now as far as apps running in the background you would need apps like greenify or titanium backup to freeze those apps that u don't want running in background. Or if there are apps that you simply don't even want you can just delete them with tb or app called Nobloat in play store. Just an FYI, I would freeze them first for a little while to make sure they don't interfere or cause issues with rom. Also can do the same with the CP zip after install use nobloat to delete extra Samsung apks you don't want or use.
Hope this helps you out man & Great choice for a rom btw, you will be pleased with it

Thanks!!! I didn't know the screen mirroring was a Samsung app since it was still on my phone.
I have Greenify, but it only allows me to hibernate a few apps. I have done that to all of the ones allowed and still get 20-30 apps killed when I hit the clear memory on the other app. I will try the other one you mentioned and see if that works better. Again, thanks!!!! I have been enjoying the Golden Eye so far!

GoldenEye is a GREAT ROM, and yes you need the Samsung Crappack addons for some features to work. I also recommend Titanium Backup Pro; its worth the dough. Below is a full list of services you can safely freeze (originally from UCUAMDL AT&T firmware, but many services are still in Goldeneye), anything Samsung is in the Crappack. Just freeze whatever you dont use.
Great choice again.

Clear play store and google play service data
Go back to play store and uncheck the setting see if the problem still here
Got certain app wen they update they will automatic add icon to homescreen itself (eg: TTPOD)
Can anybody point me in the right direction. My wife's note 3 does not have Galaxy essentials installed. It's the verizon sm-n900v model. I need it to update sns provider. It's for Facebook one tap login. If anyone can gimme an apk or somehow add the widget that would be highly appreciated. I contacted samsung support and they couldn't do anything. They said galaxy essentials is only for Samsung s5 and newer devices. I cannot update sns provider without the essentials widget. Thanks in advance.
Fixed it. I ripped the apk from my t mobile note 4 using apk extractor From the play store and installed it on her note 3. Worked like a charm. Yet one tap fb still does not work. O well.
Hello, I just got a new Galaxy Watch 4 Classic 4G (purchased in the UK) but I am having trouble copying my Google account to it. My phone is a S20 Ultra 5G (purchased in Hong Kong, SM-G9880)
In the Galaxy Wearable app, After the "Copying your accounts..." screen I get a "Couldn't copy your Google accounts" error without any extra context or information.
I have tried resetting my watch, clearing app cache/data from the Galaxy Wearable app, and restarting my phone. I have not attempted a factory reset of my phone as I don't really want to do that unless strictly necessary.
I have contacted Samsung UK support and I've been told that one of the reasons this is not working might be the lack of the "Google Mobile Services" app from my phone, as it does not appear on the list of system apps:
we highly recommend reaching our designated support team in Samsung Hong Kong so that they can also fully check if you can install/download Google Mobile Service (GMS) as this is one of the requirements for you to be able to fully use your mobile phone with your Galaxy Watch4 Classic

I could not find a way to get that installed on my phone, and I am not convinced this is the culprit anyway.
Could someone help?
I had the same issue till yesterday night, Google play services had a new update yesterday so I updated and it worked flawlessly then. try to check if it has an update in the play store, note that you won't find it with "my apps", you have to go to phone settings, apps, show system apps, google play services, scroll all the way down and click on app details in store..
