Search the forums, its been answered, there is a file in the system you need to delete..
Try sdmaid from market. It deletes tombstones, duplicate files, clears cache, etc.. . It's called sdmaid but mostly works cleaning the internal memory. Is only a couple of bucks for the pro.
It's /data/tombstones that above post referred to. Any root file manager will let you delete the folder contents manually.

Try the AutoKiller app from the android market, I'm using it and it works great. You can set it to free up the memory on custom intervals.

Hi, XDA's friends.
I hope this app is useful.
Any feedback, suggestions will be welcomed.
[Description]
Cache Manager clean up the cache of installed apps.
Cache consists of both internal (system) cache and external (SD card) cache.
Android OS version-specific cache properties and the cache manager's behavior.
# ~ less than Honeycomb 3.0.X
- Only internal (system) cache exists.
- With a one click, you can delete the internal cache of all apps.
# Honeycomb 3.0.X ~ up to Jellybean 4.1.X
- The internal cache and external(SD card) cache exist.
- With a one click, you can delete all the internal cache.
- External cache can not be deleted with a one click. (Android OS feature)
- In the app's details page, you can delete the external cache manually.
(If you click on list item, app's details page will be displayed)
# Jellybean 4.2.X or Higher
- Internal and external cache exist, same with 3.0.X ~ 4.1.X case.
- Each app has 8KB or 12KB default internal cache. (Android OS feature)
- The functions of displaying the size of the cache and deleting all cache, are added to the Android OS storage settings page.
(If you click on the appropriate button in the cache manager, storage settings page will be displayed)
Other characteristics of the cache manager
# There is no background service.
# Including external cache size is optional. It can be changed in the settings page.
# Sorting. (By name or by the size of the cache)

Moto X Play XT1562 Recovery

I have flashed the TWRP recovery on my Moto X Play.
I don't know what is this system image consisting approx. 3gb.
Even if i try to wipe all system , data , cache, internal, dalvik ,etc
there is still that weird stuff of 3gb approx. System image.
What is this even if there is no os install .
Is there any way to clear this to free up some memory.
Thank you!
this is backup. system image is your system files. like windows - if you use format you lost system. if you need install other rom you must delete system image

I'm unable to delete it, is there any way to delete system image
imposible. wipe > advanced wipe > check dalvik, system, data, internat storage, cache

How to wipe cache?

Is there a keypress combination for wiping cache partition on G6?
All guides I have found on the net talk just about Settings / Internal storage / clear cached data but I have always thought this is different from clearing the actual cache partition. At least on other devices I have used there is some keypress combination for this.
You can't do that on LG without root permission.
