Any one know what mean this?In download mode apear knox 0x1 (2) . I try to flash official but the same.

Hi,
I have a samsung S4 in Australia.
I have been having issues whenever I download or update any app on the phone through the google store. I have spoke to samsung and they are going to take my phone into get repaired. I have rooted my phone using SUPERSU. Did a factory reset once it started playing up.
My question is how do I tell if my phone is KNOW void. I have red allot of the forums and they all show you what your phone looks like when it is void. 0x1 and when it is not 0x0.
But my phone when I go into download mode does not even have the KNOX lines.
The lines are as below, there is no mention of KNOX.
------
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT : GT-19505
SYSTEM STATYS: Official
CSB-CONFIG-LSB: 0x30
WRITE PROTECTION: ENABLED
---
However there is a KNOX icon in my applications through the settings of my phone.
How do I check to see if they are going to return it and say I have jail breaked it. If it is not KNOX-VOID then what else do I have to do to ensure they cant tell.
Regards,
Hello,
Looking online for answers, I keep running into this thread. So I'll post here as well.
I have SGH-T999L [T-Mobile USA]
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SGH-T999L
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: NO
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
Warranty Bit: 0
BOOTLOADER RP SWREV: 1
Notice on this display I also lack the KNOX WARRANTY COUNTER: 0x0 or 0x1
I have Triangle Away and that shows Binary Counter = 0.
I also did a factory reset after rooting and everything is ok. I had issues once I rooted getting apps from Google Play. Simple reboot worked ok and phone has been stellar since. I just would like to know the full details of checking for a phone like the OP or mine.
I'll assume since mine has Warranty Bit = 0 I'm safe but confirmation would be nice.
Thank you,
Kent C.

You can be relaxed. Your phone is using one old bootloader (android 4.2.2), this means KNOX free. You have full warranty . You have to know that are 2 types of KNOX:
1. Knox bootloader -> Appears in DOWNLOAD MODE (KNOX:0X0 or KNOX:0X1).
- 0x0: Full warranty
- 0x1: Void warranty
2. Knox app -> Appears close to ur apps. This is an application for protect the phone

In your case you have different model of phone. But is more or less same:
- Warranty Bit: 0 -> Full warranty
- Warranty Bit: 1 -> Void warranty
Sir,
Thank you very much! Your input is appreciated, scary at this is, this maybe the first thread online with this simple layout of information.

anyway his knox now is disabled and he can't access to his data because in security knox is disabled .. how can we enable knox so he can decrypt knox with password and access to his data ... thanks in advance and keep in mind that please guys if you are not sure about how can solve problem without losing data , guide me . data encrypted with knox is so important to him .

If knox is 0x1, then you are out of luck.

if we unroot phone can't we just enable it ?
Depends how it's rooted. If Knox Warranty Void is 0x1 - you can't do nothing to it. If device is rooted keeping Knox flag 0x0, there might be a way to recover the data somehow, since Knox shouldnt be locked up.

If he used cf-auto-root Knox warranty is void (you can check that booting phone to download mode, if you don't know how or what that is, Google it. If there is line "Knox Warranty Void 0x1" means warranty is void, and "0x0" means it's fine)
Knox is 0x1 on his phone and that means there is no way to recover data from Knox container, at least as for now, most probably will never be.

Oh god. Knox warranty void means Knox is not secure anymore. You can't recover data no matter what you do. If you unroot, it changes nothing.
Read this article from Samsung about Knox and CF-Auto-Root.
It clearly says: "Once the e-fuse bit is burned, a Samsung KNOX-enabled device can no longer create a KNOX Container, or access the data previously stored in an existing KNOX Container. This is a mechanism to ensure that enterprise data will be protected as long as the rooting attempt is detected."

okay ... thanks for your time . really appreciated . if anyone knows other useful thing please let me know , this data is now not accessible is so critical unfortunately
I apologize if this is already here, I could not find it using mobile app search. I have a Verizon Note 3 that says SM-N900V both in Odin mode and in settings. However, in Odin mode it doesn't say anything at all about KNOX. No version or warranty or anything similar. The only place it mentions KNOX is also in the settings, and it aayd version 2.3. Every image I've seen pertaining to the Verizon model shows that it has this. I'm curious if mine has the KNOX firmware or just the software?
knox is implemented on the kernel. you can check the status of it if you download knox checker at the play store or going to bootloader. but other than that those are just software check's. to my knowledge
I'm referring to the line in Odin mode that says "KNOX WARRANTY VOID 0x0"(or 0x1 if tampered with). This is absent from mine. There is no mention of KNOX at all in Odin mode, this confused me because I was under the assumption the Verizon model had this.
Pretty sure you don't use Odin for Knox check. Its either volume up power and home button or volume down can't remember. Download mode or something. Some one will chime in I'm sure.

I would post pics or links if it would let me. To the best of my knowledge, in Odin (download) mode on the phone, most Samsung phones list whether Knox is implemented in the kernel as well as if the phone has been tampered with. The line I have seen in most pics says either "KNOX WARRANTY VOID" or "WARRANTY BIT" followed by a number showing whether the phone has been rooted or tampered with. It shows 0x0 or 0 for phones that haven't been rooted and 0x1 or 1 for phones that have. I am only trying to figure out why it is absent on mine, while I've read that the N900V has this. I'm trying to figure this out because I want to root the device and it makes it difficult when everything but the model number is different from the how-to methods
EDIT: The firmware mine is running is N900VVRUEOF1. And download mode looks like this:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-N900V
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Official
REACTIVATION LOCK: OFF
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB )
RP SWREV: S1, T1, R1, A4, P1
SECURE DOWNLOAD: ENABLE
UDC START
Phone stuck in boot screen
Warranty knox void 0 (0x0000)
What does it mean
I got a replacement phone coming
Will they charge me
After they receive mine
Or can I fix it
If knox is 0x0 then your warrenty is all good. If it's 0x1 then they may charge you. I had to claim mine in the insurance as I'd tripped knox cos Samsung repair said they would charge me if I went through them. Have you used doing to flash custom recovery or anything that isn't stock? If so that will trip knox. If not then you'll be fine.
Secure Download :Enbled
Knox Warranty Void: 0(0X0000)
RP swrev :B:4 K:1
please explain my Samsung note 5 come like this
