Same problem. I just started watching videos in Chrome, but sometimes I get this problem in Chrome too.

Bump, still having this problem

Try this:
Go to: Settings > More > App Manager > Downloaded > YouTube
Then: clear cache, clear data, force stop
No dice?
Try this:
Go to: Settings > More > App Manager > Downloaded > youtube
Then: clear cache, clear data, uninstall updates, turn off phone and take out battery for 5 minutes, turn on mobile and update YouTube app.

Hmm my only other suggestion would be to do a data factory reset or odin the stock rom of whatever bootloader you are on.

[Q] Camcorder not working on Epsy CM9

This is from one of my posts on the CM9 thread here.
I'm still having problems with video recording.
I tried making a 2:10 video just now, after a full phone wipe (factory reset) then installing this.
The camera FCd and in the gallery it says - "This Video cannot be played"
It's really annoying because I actually use my video camera, when I can..
It's not the camera app because I've used different applications and they say "Cannot access camera" after around 40s.
Defy Red Lens running latest build.
--------
Does anyone know why this happens? Or have any solution to it.
I have enabled full HWA (in the most recent update).
Process when installing the ROM:
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache/dalvik
Install the rom (5 july from here)
Install Proximity Sensor Disable (this disables screen turning off when a call is made, for one thing).
Install Pottkopp's AIO Aroma installer for CM9 (Apex + rest don't change)
Wipe cache/dalvik
Reboot
Just incase I'm doing anything I shouldn't
Anyone know anything?
Try going to Apps and find Camera app.
Select Clear data from there.
Has helped me sometimes.
AROMA-Installer could also be the problem.
When installing new rom just:
Wipe cache partition or when big changes or everything goes wrong Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe Davik Cache
Install Rom
Reboot
There are just some options in Settings to disable screen rotating.

Edit: Sober now.. fixing this up lol.
OK, I'll try skipping the AROMA installer next time I install.
Thank you! It must have been the Aroma.. I just tried a minute video and it worked!
I'll try a 5 minute one just in case, and see if that saves

Go system settings>more>application manager and then scroll through every app. Open the applications and delete their cache - especially gmail/email, facebook, internet, google play services, playstore, gallery etc then reboot and see if things work.
Sometimes you'll have to delete not only the Cache but the 'Data' too in Google Playstore and services (both). If you do this you'll be required to login next time you open playstore, that is all.
Also you could could, if you have a custom recovery, boot into recovery mode and delete the cache there too.

That worked for me thanks. I cleared the cache for the suggested apps and rebooted email immediately worked and could install apps again.

A faster way to clear cache is settings > more > storage > cache

[HOW TO] Delete Locked Bookmarks

For anyone that hates having locked bookmarks, here's how to delete them:
1. Fire up your root browser of choice and go to system/CSC/
2. Long press on "customer.xml" and select "open in text editor"
3. Scroll down about half way until you see something along the lines of:
< Bookmark >
< NetworkName> T-Mobile
< Index > 1 < /Index >
< BookmarkName > google < /BookmarkName >
< URL > http://www.google.com/m?client=ms-hms-tmobile-us < /URL >
< Editable > no < /Editable >
< /Bookmark >
4. Change the "no" to "yes" and repeat for the 2 other locked bookmarks (there are 3 total)
5. Save the file, move or delete the backup Root Explorer makes, and reboot
6. Go to settings-> application manager-> internet and force stop it and delete cache/data ***WARNING*** YOU WILL LOSE ALL OF YOUR BOOKMARKS, SETTINGS, ETC!!!!!!
7. Open up the stock browser and delete those disgusting locked bookmarks they tried to shove down your throat

I never save any bookmarks, passwords, or home pages so I only lost some settings when I cleared data for the browser, but thanks for sharing :good:

Wiped cache partion All services stopped

Hello
It was suggested on another forum to alleviate audio video sync issues across multiple apps you should wipe your system cache. I am running lollipop 5.0.2 rooted.
Anyways I did the system cache clear through recovery and when I rebooted my phone the sprint screen hung for a minute then a black screen appeared followed by numerous prompts stating that various services were stopped.
I keep pressing okay to each prompt and another one follows. It seems like the service / app is trying to start but cannot. I am left with a black screen that continues to pop up these dead services.
Has anyone experienced this? I thought a system cache clear was harmless. What can I do so I do not lose my data.
Please help I need this stupid thing for work.
Thank you

Have you tried doing it again? Was it in stock recovery? What option did you press? Video lag fix is in my OD2 mods thread in Themes & Apps.
