[Q] soft bricked!

hi all, a friend bringed to me his gt-9505 ( italian ), the phone was rooted and has a custom rom ( slimbean), yesterday he flash the new bootloader and modem with odin to flash the omega v24, than the flash failed in recovery ( twrp), the nand restore failed too! my skills on samsung modding are not high! after i read that the new bootloader doesn't allow the downgrade, so i try to flash the stock 4.4.2 on odin, it says:
ID:0/004> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/004> sbl2.mbn
<ID:0/004> __Xmit Write fail
<ID:0/004> XmitData Fail..
<ID:0/004> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
any suggest? actually the phone is stuck on:
firmware upgrade encounterd an issue. please select recovery mode in kies and try again!

Hello there try a different Cable/Ports mate and then ,Pull your battery out and put it back and press and hold power+voludown in order to reach downloadmode and reflash the stock rom once again. make sure kies 3 is closed.

it works by changing usb ports! installed on odin latest stock 4.4.2 italian brand vodafone! thank you dude

[Q] Flash ROM error

I'm trying to install GENNXT PREROOTED ROM FOR GRAND 2 V-1.3
but every time i got this error.
VIA ODIN:
<ID:0/003> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/003> FAIL! (Auth)
<ID:0/003>
<ID:0/003> Complete(Write) operation failed.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
Also, on the phone screen it says
SECURE CHECK FAIL: sbl1
Then, i try install STOCK ROM clear and STOCK and works..
Does anyone have any idea of how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check if you have selected the corresponding files correctly

Yes, I've checked correct file, and re-downloaded tree times keep issue.

So I checked on my buddy google. Many s4 users face this problem. This is because they have knox enabled boot loader. So they couldn't downgrade firmware. I think that's the problem with us too.
Gennxt rom is based on C3 but most phones now have D1 or E1

boot loop + recovery freeze

firstly i want to say i'm french so i'm sorry if my english is not really good :s i'm sorry if the question have already been asked but i have not found it :/ i haven't find my answer in french forum so i try here because i think xda is the BEST !! =)
so, i have a GS4 gt-i9505 in 4.4.2 and it dont boot. when i start the phone in recovery mode, it freeze during loading with the little green robot and it reboot and it don't boot normaly. i have try flashing with newest stock ROM, re-partition, custom recovery and nothing work. i have try to root. i already have acces to download mode.
i don't know what information you need so i stay in front of my computer to give more information.

If you can get into recovery , check this guide:

Try to flash a stock rom , if there is any error during flashing with odin post the logs here so we can help you

You say ,repartition, in your OP
When flashing a stock rom with Odin REPARTITION must be unchecked.

Repartition has to be checked if you use a PIT file otherwise should be unchecked
Mate did you use a PIT file and checked repartition? also what PIT file did you use?

yes i check repartition when i use a .PIT =) and i use: "CSB_signed_Fusion3_EUR_0325_V2.pit"

I guess is the same as the one named I9505_pit file.zip - [Click for QR Code] (1.2 KB, 60416 views) did you try with that one?
Also when you try to flash ( odin) a custom recovery what happen?

i'm going to trybut i think it's the same. and when i use a custom recovery it do the same thing like official: the recovery start and freeze after 10-15s of loading and reboot or it doesnt start and i can read "not seandroid" or something like that

But now I want to root again and install a costum recovery with odin but fails!!!:\

Might be a long shot, but do you have reactivation lock enabled? Someone else was having that problem and that was the cause.
Also double check your files of course and maybe try a different version of Odin

Turn off reactivation lock, root your device & do whatever you need to do, then if you want to you can turn it back on. It's a great function but it does prevent modifying devices (for obvious security reasons)

910c Bootloop stock rom

hi,
i flashed cm13 from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...-cyanogenmod-13-semi-official-builds-t3259878
then i went back and tried to flash N910CXXU2COJ5_N910COXA2COJ5_XEO via Odin, which was my rom before flashing to cm13
now i am facing a bootloop at "samsung Powered By Android Screen"
i also tried N910CXXU1COI4_N910COXA1COI4_XEO, N910CXXU1COH4_N910COXA1COH4_XEO, i get Fail message from Odin
i redownloaded N910CXXU2COJ5_N910COXA2COJ5_XEO, thinking maybe the file was corrupted during my first download, but still same problem
please help, also please provide me a link to download bootloader and modem

Dont try to flash any bootloader below COJ5 as downgrading isn't possible.
Did you do a factory reset when you flashed COJ5 ?

FYI, i also tried many roms which are based on COJ5 but no luck
The only rom i can flash now is CM13 from here

If you can boot cm while not stock I would suspect the kernel.
Make sure that the zipped custom rom you tried to flash by recovery has the stock kernel (boot.img) inside in some folder other than "system".And always wipe data/factory reset when coming from non stock.
If it still doesn't help then Im afraid I'll be out of solutions cause I haven't had any experience with locked bootloaders.

Hey, try flashing cm13 again and see if your serial number and IMEI are still showing.
