Hello,
I rooted my phone last night, and this morning flashed the NE5 kernel.
I went to Titanium Backup to restore the backup I made, but it said the phone was no longer rooted.
So, I went to root the phone again, and everything went fine, until the phone went into recovery and said "RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING"
but, Odin says pass
I was able to flash the stock firmware and unbrick the phone, but I still want to root it. Should I install the NE5 kernel then root it?

Ok so i tried to root my s5 with odin using cf auto root, odin fined but then i my phone would no reboot it said RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING set warranty bit.
I could not get the phone to reboot at all so i went back to odin and flashed cwm recovery and now the phone boots up but i have no root access and cwm recovery is not installed!
I tried to repeat the process a few times and still have the same issues!
Someone please call me an idiot and tell me what i am doing wrong?
Thanks.
I was trying to download TWRP so I could install Xposed framework and it went into Secure FAil: Recovery, where it just looped an error. I used Odin, verizon firmware, and a PIt file (from a guide on this forum) and it's back to right before I rooted it today. I rooted it again, but I don't know what to do...
Just rooted today with droidyemen's 1 click lollipop root. It worked. I installed SuperSU, titanium back up. This is everything I know about rooting. Someone did it for me before on my old Note 3, so I'm learning everything as I go. Sooo much info. I don't know what supersu or titanium does, but I know I needed it.
Verizon phones are locked out by bootloader. No chance for any TWRP or AOSP ROM for you I fear
I rooted through kingroot and when my phone turns off and I try to boot it back up I get kernel is not seandroid enforcing and then I get a message telling me to take it to cricket and they'll fix it, well I factory restored it but how can I prevent that and still have it rooted? I tried rooting 2 times and had to factory reset it each time. Is there anyway around this?
Flash this boot img. With flashify after rooting with kingroot

What version of firmware are you, I can't get king root to work
Do you have twrp? You can get root with supersu flashable zip via twrp
Went ahead and updated my Rogers N910W8 to 6.0.1 coming from 5.0.1. Flashed the firmware from here using odin
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/72141/N910W8VLU1DPE2_N910W8OYA1DPE2_ESK/
After the flash I went into recovery to factory reset. Booted up started setting up the phone. Then I flashed cf-auto root found here using odin again.
https://download.chainfire.eu/563/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-trltecan-trltecan-smn910w8.zip
Rebooted and started using titanium backup to remove/freeze bloatware.
Went ahead and flashed twrp-3.0.2-0-trltecan.img.tar (https://dl.twrp.me/trltecan/) again using odin.
Rebooted and started using the phone went to charge the phone and started using it again. Installed more apps such as adaway which required a reboot. This is when my phone would not get past the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 powered by android screen. In the top left it says set warranty bit: kernel in yellow font. I can access recovery fine and download mode as well. I tried factory reset but it still won't get past the logo screen. Is my only option at this point kies?
So, I was messing around with Busybox on my rooted T350 RUNNING 6.0.1, and I went into scripts, and ran the script to reboot into recovery and I ran it as root. It rebooted fine into recovery. So once I was done in TWRP, I tried to reboot back into my rom, which is stock by the way, and on the top left it won't change from set warranty bit: recovery to set warranty bit: kernel. So I can't get back onto my rom. Any ideas? If possible I really don't want to flash my stock unrooted room, just to read obtain root and have to re-download everything. Thanks in advance
Update - I flashed my stock backup. Still no change to set warranty bit. My tablet is pretty much bricked at this point in time.
Anybody got any ideas? I'm kind of dead in the water.
Solved it myself. Thanks for all the feedback. So, in case anyone ever has this issue again, these are the steps I took to fix being stuck in "set warranty bit: recovery".
1. Connect your tablet to your computer, reboot into download mode, run Odin.
2. Go ahead and check AP and select file twrp_3.0.2-1_sm-t350_mm_9816.tar
3. Flash it, and attempt to get back into TWRP.
If you still want a rooted device:
1. Connect to Odin, reboot to download mode
2. Select AP, select CF-Auto-Root-gt58wifi-gt58wifixx-smt350.tar.md5
3. Flash it, have root.
Somehow, rebooting into recovery via busybox root script will put you in a recovery boot loop. Reflashing TWRP was the only way I could breath life back into my device. I also had a backup of my stock unmodified ROM to restore via twrp, so that is why there aren't any steps mentioned with flashing that.
