So Official Rollout Start Hope Eeveryone is now on Lollipop 5.0.2 :highfive:
It's a Request Guys Please Post Bugs Here.
Some Common Bugs List/New Features/More:
1.Swipe down from status bar
Click on users icon... And click more settings... Enjoy the lag...
2. Open app drawer (newer google now launcher)
Click on home button
Enjoy microstutters...
3. Go to settings
Click on any title..
The animation that seems to come from lower part of screen towards center also lags for the first time...
4. One of the major hits was that switching data on now requires at least 4 touches...yes i know aosp has it like this but...Moto being an oem could have made it simpler... For someone like me who toggles data several times a day, this is hectic.
One thing again moto failed to do was to remove the drop down quick setting when a secured lock screen is used. How the hell it is secure when any one can swtich off the data and swtich on air plane mode or even use my phone as a wifi hotspot..
5. wifi battery drain is present wid build 5.0.2. Battery is draining even when all the wifi toggles are off (including scanning while sleep) .. Have seen this on my nexus 5 too.... U can thank google for this and motorola for not patching it..
6. net is switched on and working but it is not accompanied by E/H icon near the signal icon ... This bug is random and just showed up on my device.
7. When I put adaptive brightness at its lowest then screen start flickering.
8. Lag in dialer specially while seeing recent call logs/call history.
9. Animation & UI Lag

Is dialler lag still here on final lollipop for xt1033 users? http://youtu.be/cZfSrRihrUk
You copied and pasted this from @doctor_droid's post, with no credit to him.
Battery Drain fast and UI is laggy.
Apart from the ones listed, the widget bug is a problem of the google app update and not the whole system update.
The guest mode lags a lot.
Under data usage stats, 2010 and other system apps come up without names.
Smooth but a little slow.
I'm facing these bugs on my XT1033 :
1. When I put adaptive brightness at its lowest then screen start flickering.
2. Lag in dialer specially while seeing recent call logs/call history.
3. Some common bugs which every lollipop user is facing like even after clearing recent apps some random apps start appearing there e. g. android system
but I'm not facing any bug as mentioned above expect power toggles on secure lock screen and that 6th bug.
Now if I talk about Improvements then
1st : Improved battery life, about 1 hour of extra screen on time earlier on kitkat 4.4.4 I was getting 3 Hours and 30 minutes of screen on time with full 24 h (screen on time+stand by time) of usage.
2nd : improved ram management about 400+ mb of ram are always free earlier on kitkat 4.4.4 it was 200-300 mb.
3rd: UI is now more fluid and smooth it's faster than ever and even more improved multitasking.
I updated my phone manually.
Thanks
and one more thing my English is not that good so you may find some bugs there too
After update there is a notification which says update google play services but when i try to update it on playstore it says no update.what to do?

All these bugs you mentioned are not present in my phone and 3 other Moto G that was updated to Lollipop recently.
Wi-Fi usage is not even showing up on the battery list and its always on. There is no such Wi-Fi battery drain here on 4 Moto G devices.
E and H icons are always visible in the status bar. It seems a very limited random bug on few devices.

People cried for Lollipop since Motorola announced it for Moto G and now they are crying for potential bugs. Priceless!!!
i have issue with battery doctore widget in 5.0.2. previous versions works fine with this widget. when i turn on data it is not actually turned data connection for mobile networks. Every time i have to go data usuage and turn on data connection.
How many of you factory reset and wiped cache after the update? If you haven't done it try it. Then post bugs.....

Oh, this. I thought nobody else noticed the animation stuttering (also happening in the GPE).
Lollipop animations are cool, but not when they lag/stutter.
I hope there's a solution for this.

animations are lagging sometimes in 4.4.4 too. I think it's just the device cpu is a bit slow.
battery
charging takes more time than normal.
animations are snappy in cm12 but not in stock lollipop.
screen on times have increased but...standby has decreased....
guys, if you are having problems using wireless hotspot on moto G,
1.Use it without a password
2. Get it to connect with PC
3. after it connects, try it out (should work)
4. Disconnect
5. create password for the hotspot - IMPORTANT - The password must be at least 10 characters and must be a combination of letters and numbers
6. try it out.
When I created the hotspot using passwords that did not have letters and numbers, it wouldn't connect.
try it out and give out responses because I heard some people could not use wireless hotspot.
one of the requirements for WPA S2 password is the letter and number combo.
------------------
I flashed the flashable stock 5.0.2 rom and have been getting awesome battery life and performance. Maybe its because the bloat's gone.
You guys should try it out
I found bug..
when I try to activated battery saving, the color of status bar and navigation bar, become orange .. although I set it when it reach 15% left , while my battery still 80% left

I really wonder why there is none of such thread here!
Gingerbread unfortunately brought only bad things to my Nexus. I already forgot why I was so crazy about installing it.
What feature did it introduce again?
Okay the response is much better and everything seems faster...but with lots of bugs?
That screen off animation? Seriously?
Things that I hate now:
- Battery Time: this is bad, can't even run half a day with lot of usage, b
efore I could listen to mp3's one day, ie. more than 4 hours without any problems...now
- Camera: either Cam or Video, the application crashes after I take a photo or video and then I can not connect to it anymore
- Gallery: often crashes, especially if you have an online photo account connected
- unlock screen: I use a pattern, often there is no overlay of what pattern I drag, still the screen can be unlocked
- Market: even if automatic updates activated, it only updates if you open the market and go to the "my apps" tab
- 3G and Wifi: if you are connected to wifi more than 15 minutes and then disconnect from it you do not get any 3G, you have to go to airplane mode and back, this bug appeared ages ago and was fixed, now back again...tells you a lot about their merging control, ie. sucks
- notification led: you know...
- apps: there are a lot of apps running even though I never used them since restart (see it in a task killer app)
- gps: on a random bases it tries to lock even though no app that uses gps is running
- phone reboot: it even rebooted without any notice two times since I installed it
(- Contacts: I still can't enter a simple thing like a birthday on an expensive phone like this)
MOD EDIT: Borderline trolling removed. If you switch OSes, that's your own choice. No one here is stopping you.
Got any troubles? Tell here.

4. Blank keyboard- fixed by switching to another keyboard and back again, or a reset
5. Blank Launcher- fixed with reset
6. In the stock SMS app a long press>delete conversation doesn't always delete the selected conversation; sometimes you have to do it twice.
As far as battery goes, my display is still the thing that takes up the most battery (which is normal) but I had been experiencing severe declines in battery life. Does the switch to 32-bit color require more processing power and therefore battery?
I *#*#4636#*#*>phone information and saw it was set to WCDMA preferred. I remember playing with the option when froyo came out but didn't remember what it was set to (Maybe Gingerbread reset the option...?). I changed it to GSM PRL (Auto), and have experienced increases in battery life, as my phone isn't hunting for 3G all the time- it uses a service provided list of tower locations.
The LED REALLY bugs me.
Hate about Gingerbread
No trackball wake
Juice Defender Doesn't work (but Green Power does - works well but with less flexibility than JD)
Short battery life
Useless keyboard selection gimmicks
- Market: even if automatic updates activated, it only updates if you open the market and go to the "my apps" tab

Well, glad to know mine isn't the only one that does this!!
On Froyo I would wake up in the morning to freshly updated apps that had updated automatically over night.
I have not had this happen a single time on Gingerbread, and nearly every time I go in to the market there are updates waiting.
What is the point of the automatic update feature when it doesn't work???

auto update never worked for me, even in froyo.
-Battery with CM7 roms
-Trackball wake blocked in non-CM7 roms
-More difficult to mod themes like statusbar (before we just had to change a png and now we have to edit a bunch of files)
So in summary GB roms are still not stable and complete, they have either TB wake missing or poor battery life too
My annoying issues?
- 2 second mic mute after I answer a call
- stock launcher choking after a while
Less annoying ones:
- Market does not automatically update apps
- gps activations without an apparent reason
My annoyances
In no particular order:
The cursor select triangle not lining up with the cursor
Launcher unresponsive/vanishing
Lockscreen pattern not showing (as in the OP)
Phone randomly stays awake at night
GPS turns itself off
Not able to view an apps wakelock any more
USB mount screen shows 'turn off' even when it isn't mounted (UK issue)
USB debugging icon doesn't appear, or doesn't turn off depending on how you enabled it
Exchange push is just crap now, I swear it's getting worse by the day

While I'm not a big Gingerbread lover at all, here are answers to some of the points:
Battery time is fine, at least in freshly installed ROMs it far exceeds what Froyo mastered.
Camera is your own problem - you didn't update radio, or your update went bad.
Gallery never crashed - again, your own problem (you get the feeling now, right?).
3G and WiFi - again, your own problem. No bug.
Apps - and why do you care? Isn't the "DO NOT USE TASK KILLER" thread clear enough? 150-200MB free RAM aren't self-explanatory?
Due to your comments, you might really consider switching to Apple. It would be beneficial both for you and for this forum.
Or you could back up user data, wipe, install new radio and bootloader, load fresh Gingerbread ROM (NOT CM7 or CM7-based), and have most of your points addressed.
Now, having said that, if you want a much better overall feel - install Froyo-based Desire port, or if you don't have any use for Hotspot - DesireHD port. I hate using barebone Android after some experience with it.
have you guys heard about Cyanogenmod ROM? I am using CM7 RC4 and I have no problems that anyone mentioned in this thread....
Maybe you haven't heard that your experience not necessarily represents anything.
For me (and another 2 guys that asked me to reinstall other ROM on their Nexus Ones), CM7 was a huge, awful pile of bugs. Starting with the ill-famous "wonk".
Plus, again, after having some SenseUI I don't really want to go back to plain Android, and wouldn't suggest it to anyone looking for a good overall experience.
I have an occasional problem with the application tray where it stutters, flashes and doesn't scroll properly. It seems to happen only after exiting certain apps, and needs the launcher to be force closed to fix.

Just lost all credibility in my book...
I would suggest the OP decides what features he/she wants in a ROM and then try a few different ones out. There are plenty to cater to all tastes and i'm sure they'll be able to find one that works well for them.
1. exchange sync stops syncing without any reason. can't start a manual sync. only reboot of the phone helps for a short period of time. needs a fix very urgently.
2. TINY TINY notification icons...the worst idea google had for the GB update. i cannot see the difference between the gmail and exchange mail icon on normal usage in example.
There are some more points which i also mentioned in my blog about gingerbread for nexus one:
http://smartphoneblogging.com/2011/03/review-android-2-3-3-gingerbread-for-nexus-one/
Thread Cleaned
Let's play nicely in here and keep this on-topic. This is not the place to discuss other operating systems. This is about issues pertaining to the OTA Gingerbread updates.
Thanks,
Your loving moderator.
One bug and one annoying change:
- The instability of the launchers. I hope they address this.
- The inaccessible GPS toggle. Tasker can't access it and neither can the toggle widgets. Why did they change this?
my mms sometimes does not send if i configure 2 APNs (one for mobile data and one for mms), while i disable the one for mobile data...
it's working fine on Froyo and CM6 before

QFT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Auto brightness adjustment no longer fades, now it just jump straight to the target brightness which is quite abrupt visually.
And of course... trackball wake is gone.
I concur with these points:
- Battery Time: this is bad, can't even run half a day
- Gallery: often crashes, especially if you have an online photo account connected
- Market: even if automatic updates activated, it only updates if you open the market and go to the "my apps" tab
- GPS: on a random bases it tries to lock even though no app that uses gps is running
- Creating shortcuts on desktop: sometimes you can't drag/drop icons to the desktop or to a different spot on the desktop.
- The cursor select triangle not lining up with the cursor
- Auto brightness adjustment no longer fades, now it just jump straight to full bright or full dim.
As for the people suggesting we update the radio and try different roms, while that is primarily what this board is about, it doesn't "solve" anything. This is a stock Nexus One with official everything. If it doesn't work then it doesn't work.
Even though we have finally received the 4.3 update from SONY,
it seems like shipped with some noticeable bugs.
It's better if we can mention the bugs we have encountered after the 4.3 update
1. ) SONY Select
As many people have reported this service is not working in either mobile broadband or wifi connections.
Only a error text is shown as "No network connection. Please try again later"
2.) NFC icon
It suddenly get disapeared while it's already activated by quick settings.
3.) Airplane mode
When the Airplane mode is turned on by power button menu, it cannot be turned off using the same menu since it's disabled.
I had to go to the settings menu and turn it off from there.
4.) Network mode switching
3G networking and LTE network mode switching does not happening correctly in automatically (sometimes).
work arround found :
Had to go to the network settings and disable the mobile data
turn on the airplane mode on and again turn it off
enable the mobile data again then it will correctly jump to LTE network type
5.) Battery bug
Battery suddenly dropped from about 40 % to 8% (without any downloaded applications.)
6.) Overheating
Phone is incredibly overheating while using the HSPA+ or LTE data connection.
with 4.2.2 i didn't had this much of overheating issue.
Please share your findings also :highfive:

1 - No, it is working fine since 2 days ago.
2 - No, this is a customization thing, if you flashed a firmware from a different region it may have been disabled. It is normal, you can re-enable it editing build.prop.
3 - No, it works fine on mine.
4 - No, i don't have this problem.
5 - It happened to me in the first two hours of installing the new firmware, but from 13% to 0% reducing itself in 1% increments every 2 seconds (and it turned itself off), it may be some kind of battery recalibration after installation, it hasn't happened again since then.
6 - I don't feel like it is overheating more than before.
I thing you should do a factory reset. I did it after 4.3 update and the only bugs i have found are:
1 - Progress bar overlaping text while installing applications
2 - Standalone wifi hotspot toggle widget not working (the one in the configurable toggles in notification area works fine)
3 - Bluetooth A2DP music streaming skips a lot in my BMW Car Infotainment system while not charging the phone. It could be some kind of energy saving feature on the bluetooth that it is screwing things up. It worked 10 times better when i was in Android 4.2.2
cheers.

Does video stabilization option works for any one.
For me it doesn't look making any difference
Camera Bug
Tho only bug I noticed is in Camera Addon AR Effects. The Pictures a very dark and there´s no chance to activate LED Flash....
my phone's screen timeout resets back to 15 seconds every once in a while, and wakelock bugs also present
Sometimes SMS received without Notification
I have issues with access to OpenXChange Servers. No new mail can be received.
Just a wakelock bug for me, Suspend_backoff (Android OS) eating battery, it drains like ~5% hourly.

Thanks.
When I get it.....
For now still waiting.
Think I will like the change in notifications where I can select WiFi hotspot with going into settings.
The battery life has always been great on 5.01
Read all 4 cores are active but I doubt I will notice.

Franco's kernel has given my battery some extra life, I hope this update does the same.
I have yet to get the two bugs that were really getting on my nerves previously in 5.0 and 5.0.1
1- Random restarts. They could happen at any time, but it seemed like they would happen when I was trying to text. I'd try to keep closing my text messenger application (happened with both Google Messenger and Hangouts), but it didn't always help. I'd send a text message, put my phone down and then a few seconds later, notice the Google logo because it was restarting.
2- Sometimes when the screen powers up, all I see on my lock screen is a blank black background, the on-screen back button and the usual clock and what not at the top of the phone. Otherwise, the screen itself is black and I'm basically locked out of my phone until I restarted it. If I was lucky and I was using my Bluetooth headset, if I received a phone call, that would sometimes get the phone to snap out of it and allow me to answer the phone call and then when the call was done I'd get the normal lock screen again.
So far so good with 5.1 *knocks on wood*
I just flash it this morning and I feel like im still on 5.0.1. I only use 1 wifi connection and 1 bluetooth connection, so a drop down menu doesn't really effect my daily usage since I don't switch them. Whatever they did behind the hood to improve performance/battery will be nice, but haven't had it installed long enough yet to notice anything different really.
I would also like to know how the 4 cores being force enabled effects the experience before I make the jump.
5.1 is what Lollipop should have been from launch. It's equivalent to Windows 7 replacing Vista. It's that much better.
Sideloaded with adb on my stock att N6. Seems real quick so far. Don't notice any additional drain on battery.
So far it seems about the same as before to me. However, I am on Sprint and the new radio that prevents duplicate texts is awesome so that part of it makes it seem like a new device.
I play Hearthstone, Kingdom Rush and Clash of Clans on My nexus 6 and they all run fine so far.
I did un-encrypt like before. I cannot comment on battery life yet since it hasn't even been 24 hours for me since I updated.
So far so good. Battery life has certainly improved, it was pretty abysmal for me before. I only experienced one bug that I know of on 5.0.1 where occasionally my status bar and nav bar would disappear and the phone was in a partially locked state. Trying to slide down the notification drawer would show the lockscreen. Hopefully that's fixed.
is double tap to wake.. enable in 5.1??
I'm not on a N6 yet, but my GNex is on 5.1, and to compare (because I've only got 1Gb of RAM here, it's a good test because the margins are so small compared to having 3Gb) the 5.1 update is by far the most stable yet for my device. 5.0 was baaad, but consider how many commits corrected memory leaks and you can tell this is the one. I'm looking forward to getting my N6 with 5.1 on it.
Big dialer bug in 5.1. Anyone else getting it?
My screen immediately locks and turns off in the dialer when initiating or answering phone calls. I have no access to onscreen controls until the call is terminated. I cannot hangup, select speakerphone, go to my home screen, etc., until the call ends and Android gives me my screen back.
I'm stock rooted on a 64gb N6 on Verizon. In order to maintain my data and settings I used fastboot to individually flash the new bootloader, radio, system, and boot images.
The same thing happened to an acquaintance of mine who is not rooted and did a fresh install.
Bug reported to Google, ID 160006, if you're interested.
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA Free mobile app
I am noticing a huge performance improvement from 5.0.1 already. Battery life is also better. I am not having the dialer issue like some, but have seen 3 instances of people saying the same thing.
Was on stock, now on Vanillipop 1.6 with Franco Kernel r20.
Much smoother and the battery seems improved. Still testing out.

Do you use a screen protector that covers the sensor? I know there is a thread somewhere around here with a lot of people that have that issue and it's because of their screen protector in 5.1 for some reason.

Greatly, its butter all the time.
I haven't noticed a whole lot yet, some games seem to be playing a lot better, the graphical glitch I was seeing on xcom seems to have disappeared so its actually playable now
I've been experiencing an increase in fluidness (is that a word) throughout the UI as a whole, the phone moves from task to task without any stutter and the animations seem to have a bit more polish to them. Checking on the battery now, but I was never a power user to begin with. Overall it may not look like much but you can tell there are some big time enhancements coming from 5.0.1
I have flashed Customized IN with Newflasher (G8142)
Flashed customized VN 47.2.a.2.33 >> 47.2.a.4.41 OTA >> 47.2.a.6.30 OTA >> 47.2A.8.24 OTA >> 47.2.A.10.28 Clean flash Customized AE with Flashtool
I found a lot of bugs
1. When i press power button i takes more times to wake the screen on than Oreo(Improved but not as good as Oreo)
2.Night Mode in Developers Setting not Worked(NOT FIXED)
3.After i restarted the phone the SimCard had not any signal . i tried to turn of and on airplane mode but did not helped. after i turned off and on my sim card in Dual sim menu it was solved (NOT Checked yet)
4.Wi-Fi didn't connect at first setup (FIXED)
5.When i go to battery setting and expand advanced after that scrolling from down of menu to top have one little lag(NOT FIXED)
6.sometimes while opening apps or scrolling in setting menu or etc ... Animations have a little lag and it solves with a restart or when i don't use the phone for a while lag is solve(NOT FIXED : much much better in terms of smoothness and performance but i see sometimes litte lags in animations)
7.Scrolling in google chrome on some websites have delay (not react with my touch immediately or not as smooth and fast reaction as Oreo)(FIXED)
8.Some times i hear a very little sound like 'tik' when i use my phone ( i'm not sure about this )(FIXED)
9. I check my battery usage sometimes. One time I saw battery usage not updated anymore until I plugged the phone to the charger. for example my screen usage time and other apps not updated and stopped at 5.09 hr!(FIXED)
10.Picture Color Mode - Use sRGB does not work. automatically getting off (NOT FIXED)
11.OEM Unlocking is in grey - cannot toggle(FIXED)
12.It seems to be HDR Photo not working Because i don't see any Difference When HDR is On or Off(It seems to be Working But very very slight Change in photo's colors and performance is not good)
13.In some Apps There is a little bar on Top of the Navigation Bar also when i using Chrome, Navigation Bar doesn't disappear ( i think on Oreo, Chrome Was Full Screen)(NOT FIXED : I think this is a part of UI that exist on other sony phones)
14.Navigation bar buttons is not stays on right Place (distance between buttons isn't identical) (FIXED)
15. When i streaming a music from a site on google Chrome while the screen is lock or off audio playback become laggy !!! when i unlock my phone its OK!(NOT FIXED)
16. I don't know till now . . .

and the album app laggs when deleting photo
*No WPS connection in WiFi.
*Many crashes in Bluetooth setting.
*Removed list of devices in toogle WiFi /Bluetooth.
It only remains to wait for Sony to solve it and it will repaired.
with this pie update (I updated by Xperia Companion) I got problems with the volume up button. In most cases, I can't increase the volume because the button doesn't activate the panel. With Android 8, all worked like a charm..

That's a pie thing, Google removed WPS support but plans to add it back in a future release (either 9.1 or 10): https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/79404939#comment10
Although WPS should stay removed as it's pretty unsecure.
-Xperia backup not working properly, doesn't backup to SD, stays at 0% and can't connect to online ac****. Google's backup works though.
-The navbar, the style is inconsistent, it should always be like it is in Album app, almost transparent, it looks very nice there. But sometimes its white, sometimes black.
I did flash the FW with flashtool and the 47.2 fsc a user provided here, because the newflasher method didn't seem to fully wipe and format my phone, all the app permissions stayed the same and some system settings, even before restoring the backup. And some tests in Service menu didn't work properly, they're fine now.
navbar
hi. after update to pie on my xperia xz premium there is problem with navbar colour. for example in waze navigation it is still white. it is very bad in night mode! is it possible to hide navbar as before or made it black permanent at least?

After the update, the notification sound starts before the ringtone when I receive a call. Someone could tell me if it's a setting I could'n find or a bug?
For me after update
1:Bluetooth auto connecting disconnecting after some time.
2:bettery care didn't work any more.
3:bettery drains faster then Orio.

I had the same problem. I can't remember what app was it but I will try to say it. When call comes don't answer it. Swipe down notification center and you will see something I think smart call or like this. I can't remember the name of app. Hold finger on it and option to turn notification off will appear. Turn it off.
Not only in waze, I'm having the same issue with different app, and is orribile when u use a dark mode or night mode.. And some trouble with smart backlight stop working... Version .306

I gotta say, I'm not having any of these issues.
Mines a g8142. Originally flashed to G8141 au firmware but discovered lower right speaker issue of low volume.
Flashed back to ce1 g8142. Everything working without a glitch. Just no VOLTE.
Are people doing a software repair via xperia companion after flashing? I find if I don't do it, I get issues.

I found temporary solution here:
talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-Z2/Transparent-or-semi-transparent-navigation-bar-ALL-apps-in/td-p/1000244#gref
"The app is named on the Google Play Store as GMD Full Screen Immersive Mode and its works very fine (tested personally). "
now I can hide navbar whenever without root
Received the OTA 47.2.A.2.33
The problem of the navbar seams solved

Falshtool automatically can download and flash the entire firmware with no modification. I did that. you can select all areas to erase and it works perfectly and also tells u which areas it didn't erase. And Next step once switched on - u can redo the RESET option in phone OR REPAIR option of Xperia COmpanion to make sure everything is installed and erased perfectly. Works.
Backup I havent tried, as I have all files stored on SD card or cloud.

Bluetooth no issues at all - I am on UK .33 ROM.
It connects in my CAR and to my Audio system all the time automatically and plays songs and calls uninterrupted. It also connects auto to my GPS.
In Oreo I had a problem with Bluetooth - on apple music whenever I hit play while connected to home audio system play used to stop immediately. I had to change the BIT rate in Developer menu. With Pie - no more of any issue. works all the time with no changes.
As promised by Nokia, all the Nokia 6.1 Plus users got the Android Pie Update at the end of October. I feel like the update was rushed and even though they had the Beta Labs for the Android Pie, it still consists of many bugs. Not sure if there are any other bugs other than the ones I'm listing but here are the major ones:
Battery drainage is comparatively more
The fast charging is not working. It takes 3 full hours for full charge. Also it no longer charges upto 50% in 30 minutes.
There are issues with the WiFi where it won't connect to any network until you restart the device.
Bluetooth switches on its own, randomly.
Fingerprint recognition is significantly slower.
The launcher (Quickstep) freezes or even crashes if you uninstall an app from the home screen. Also it freezes occasionally when you use the navigation to switch between apps.
Please list down other bugs that you've had, if any, down below. Also if anyone knows when is Nokia most likely to push an update for fixing these bugs, do let me know since the November security update already came without any fixes.
UPDATE:
Nokia pushed a new update last night. I'm hoping it contains fixes to the numerous bugs.
Frame rate drop on WhatsApp video calls . Don't see frame rate dropping on duo , Skype or any other app . Now I don't know who should be fixing this nokia / Google or whatsapp.
Fingerprints is not working in third party apps like AppLock.Casting is also not working. When I playing games touch is not working properly. So,these are the bugs after updating with pie.
Drainage of battery is also very fast..
Launcher3 crash when you don't have it as a default launcher and try to tap on recent apps. Scrolling left and right works, but as soon as you choose an app or try to click on Clear All, it crashes and takes you back to home screen.
For the battery drainage, with Adaptive Battery turned on, mine is almost equal to that on Oreo.
It does tell that it's fast charging, though it takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes charge fully, compared to 1 hour 30 minutes on Oreo.
Wi-Fi works fine for me, no issues.
I have my Bluetooth always turned on for my band, and it works just fine.
For Fingerprint Recognition, yeah, it feels slow. My Mi A1 is much faster at that.
I had some other issues with the device's lock screen acting super weird. I've set up Google's Face Unlock, and the built-in fingerprint, with a pattern. Sometimes it doesn't actually lock with power button press, and the lock sound comes much later. At that time, it would not unlock either with face or fingerprint, and even the pattern won't work. It occurs rarely, though.
I'm having some issues during calls, I don't know if it's hardware or software, but my mic doesn't work on calls sometimes. I have read on other forums that this is happening for many users of this phone.
Lock the phone and scan the fingerprint, repeat this continuously for 3-4 times. The phone gets hanged.
Also, sometimes, the screen starts flashing randomly and erroneously. Haven't been able to find out the exact reason for this.
Hi
Bro same are problems with my device.
But not with my friend's device
I want to ask whether it is the inbuilt problem of WiFi or software bugs?
I was so annoyed that I had planned to sell this phone .

Better request service centre to revert back to Oreo.....i visit there yesterday & successfully revert back to Oreo. Now my 6.1 plus is working flowless.
Bluetooth HD audio AAC doesn't seem to work, judging by the developer options.
Although admittedly, I've never used this on oreo and I know my headphones supports AAC because it worked with another device before.
Is it possible to revert back to Oreo?
When I'm on a call, and if a notification is received, the notification sound is of the battery charging sound. Very weird

You can using ost with bl unlocked
pie bugs
1. watsapp video call lags
2. battery draining too fast
3. phone slow down the performance when battery below 10%
4. phone lags usually
5.charging slowly
6. hiding notch not covering full notch
7. wifi issue
Pie Bugs for me:
--WIFI connecting but no internet. Restarting the device everytime is not a good solution. To make sure that WiFi works fine thereafter I do not toggle the WiFi OFF ever.
--"Ok Google" voice activation not working. Neither able to retrain my voice.
--Battery drain is atleast 10% higher over a period of 8 hours in idle mode.
--Fingerprint unlock has become extremely slow.
--Random freeze while trying to unlock using fingerprint scanner. The screen refuses to turn on even when power button is pressed. This happens for almost 5 to 10 minutes till finally the screen turns on.

I ordered one phone for my wife and now I start regretting reading about all these problems after Pie update (the phone is not here yet). I was planning to stop updating it from Oreo, any way to do it or once it gets set and WIFI on it will start updating itself ? Interesting that in your case it works, do you think that they changed OTA so new updates gets a newer fixed version ?
