I'm installed cm 12, but I have a non gmail domain google account (the domain is postafiok.hu, same as gmail.com , but it is in hungaryan).
When I try to add this google account I can't enter the email adress and the password, like on JB, kitkat, I can enter only the email adress, after that it drops out the postafiok.hu login website, after the login it shows my emails, like on computer but doesnt' add account in settings. If I go back, the page was came out where I can enter only email adress.
Are there any method to add this google account to settings?

Hi there,
I've tried searching for this but can't seem to find the answer anywhere. I want to be able to download all my hotmail emails to my HTC Touch HD, but currently theres a limit to 50 on my hotmail account.
Is there anyway of doing this? I'm sure I used to be able to do it on a previous version of windows mobile but can't seem to now. It seems so bizaare that you can't, as I often want to go back to old emails, and don't always want to go through the web to get these.
Maybe there's a better email application, or even outlook for windows mobile which I could use?
Thanks for any help,
Tom
try setting up your email account using Outlook Mobile's POP3 settings (pop3.live.com / smtp.live.com). during the setup process don't use the real email address @hotmail, or @msn or @live, use @hotmaill, @msnn or @livee. once you've completed the setup you can go back to change to the correct email account name. the only downside is you lose the push feature. your phone will poll your email account based on the interval you select during setup. i'm using this setup for my MSN account, where email arrives every 5 minutes duirng the day and every 30 minutes in the evenings.
Thanks mate, thats perfect. Don't need to have push email anyway.
Cheers, Tom

Hotmail account on HD
Hi all,
Anyway of getting my hotmail account to go through the Outlook on the phone, WITHOUT having my account on Messenger?
It seems you can only have one account setup on messenger, as as my messenger account.
Now when you setup messenger using a hotmail account, you have the option to get all emails going through the outlook, and download to the phone as normal.
BUT I dont use a hotmail account for my messenger, and my main email accoutn is a hotmail account... hope this doesnt confuse you! But my messenger is a "dead account" and any emails sent to that email go no where.
So If i try setup my hotmail account in the outlook, put in all the setting like email address, password ect, it just takes me to hotmail.com on my Opera browser, but does not save the settings in outlook?
Sorry for confusion!
Not sure I've followed you correctly.
I also don't use messenger but I do have hotmail on my device in emails tab. I used Windows Live to set it up which is on most HD roms. Once you've gone through process of setting up and sync'ing your hotmail account will appear in emails tab like any other email account
Ah yeah, but the problem is, Windows Live just like messenger only lets you have one accoutn setup at once.
So I set my hotmail up with windows live, my emails appear. Thats good.
But then it also sets Messenger up, with the hotmail account, which I dont want, if you get me?
you might be able to setup multiple hotmail accounts using the method listed here. i use this to access 2 msn accounts and 1 live account. not push, but works just as well.

Hello guys,
As I’m a new user, the system doesn’t allow me to post email links, so I had to change the at symbol to a an split the address. Sorry.
I’m having some trouble in setting my google accounts on my X10.
My primary email address is xxx a mydomain. com that is hosted by gmail. My Youtube account is xxx a gmail. com.
Once I’ve configured the Android to use xxx a mydomain. com it keeps asking me to enter the password for that account in the youtube app. The problem is that xxx a mydomain. com doesn’t have a channel on Youtube.
Is there a way to link these accounts or any other workaround?
Thanks,
Alvaro.
hey, you should try logging onto your youtube account and re-link your account to that email address
That's what I'm trying to do but:
Current Email Address: xxx a gmail. com
Your Google Account's primary email address is a Gmail address, and thus can't currently be changed.
I just can't find were to link these accounts. Anyone knows?
Dont spam me saying move to Gmail some of us still use both. Tried and test on Villainrom 1.4.4, working a treat.
ActiveSync Set-Up for Hotmail Access
• If your device supports only one profile of ActiveSync, delete the existing ActiveSync profile on your device if you already use it
• Enter the following:
URL - m.hotmail.com
Username - Enter full name with domain info, e.g. [email protected]
Domain - Leave blank put \[email protected]
SSL - Enabled
Certificate - Accept the SSL certificate when prompted
Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks - All can be enabled.

Would be excellent as mine has stopped pushing consistently recently and only works when it feels like. Does this now work for you? I have a .co.uk address and run rooted 2.1 stock.
Sent from my HTC Hero using XDA App
I have not test it on Android 2.1 but it is working with .co.uk addresses
I let Gmail get my hotmail, and label it as such, and even reply from Gmail as from my Hotmail account.
Does the Hotmail ActiveSync also sync calendar events?
Yep and contacts
I'm posting in case this may help others solve calendar sync issues. It may seem very basic to some users, but it was the result of hours of research, and trial & error, for me.
In my office, we use Outlook with the free Google Sync program. A couple of desktops, my netbook and notebook, and my Xoom and Bionic are all synced to the same Google Calendar.
I was having lots of problems with the calendar on the Xoom updating, until I ran across a post someplace about setting up that Gmail account as an Enterprise account instead of a Gmail account.
I'm running the latest Team EOS Jellybean nightly with the current gapps download. Under Google accounts, I no longer see an option to sync calendars. (I installed the zip file from my SD card, over a version of Pete's Bugless Beast ICS. Yeah, I know....)
I deleted the Google account in settings, then:
Settings --> Add Account --> Corporate
On the setup screen, enter your full email address ([email protected]) and password, then hit "Next."
The next screen is Server Settings.
Domain\username: \username
Password: your password (should carry over from the prior screen)
Server: m.google.com
Port: 443
"Use connection (SSL)" and "Accept all SSL certificates" should be checked.
In the options under the account, you now have a checkbox option to sync the calendar and contacts. (I don't use this account for email, so I left that box unchecked.)
Hope this tip saves somebody the time and headaches I experienced!
Many thanks

Brilliant Many thanks worked perfectly for me so far
I'm trying to setup the phone for my wife and trying to add all of her emails.
I added her gmail account without a problem, same with her hotmail and right after I wrote email address and password it recognized it and added both without a problem.
But I'm having problem with an emial address my wife has from work, I think it's hosted on gmail but the email address is in this format [email protected] right after i enter email and password it doesn't add it automatically but rather goes to selection of pop3 or exchange or imap, and after that all the other settings like pop server and port, etc.
I checked her iphone and that's what I can find how the account was setup there....
Description - Gmail
SMTP - smtp.gmail.com
Server port - 993
Use SSL - On
Why don't you add it as a gmail / Google account?
