Hi
Few months ago my original wall charger have stopped working, since then I'm charging my nexus 4 with my PC.
Lately I have found a wall charger made by Nokia and I was wondering if it'll charge my device just as the original wall charger did.
The only difference between them is that Nokia wall charger's input is 160mA and the original wall charger is 200mA.
Thanks in advance :good:

I think it should be okay..
Usually it only matters if it goes over the volt of the original charger.. not sure though

So the worst thing that can plausibly be is slow charging?
Thanks

Hi folks,
I happened to have lost my original charger for Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and all I have now is the USB cable. For emergency purposes, I need to charge my phone and it doesn't charge fast connecting to a PC. I do have an adapter for Samsung Galaxy S4.
Is it OK to use the USB cable on Samsung Galaxy S4 Adapter and charge my device? Or will there be a problem?
My phone battery is a 3.8 V Li-ion and 12.16 Wh
The Galaxy S4 adapter shows an output value of 5.0 V and 2.0 A

Thanks!

If that's hard ... can anyone holding a Galaxy Note 3 please post your output value mentioned on the original adapter?
Find details in pic

It should be fine, most wall charges are fine. If you want faster charging you can make a charge only cable (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwKCXJc1iTc) and it will always charge at max speed. While this isn't good for your PC, it works perfectly for car chargers.
Any 5MV charger will work perfectly.
The official Note 3 charger is 5.3V - 2A, so using a 5V adapter will be fine, just a bit slower.
I use my old HD2 and S3 charger half the time.
using a 2A charger will be fine. 1A charger need double of the time

Hi,
I tested various chargers and usb cables, including the normal micro usb from the older devices, most of them works like a charm
Including my old OTG dongle (usb 2.0), I didn't yet compare the speed difference between both...

buy any chinese charger man it'll be a gud alternate for d original one
You can use pretty much anything.
I charge my Note 3 with the original one (5.3v/2A), I charge it with a Note 2 charger (5.0v/2A) and I charge it with an old Nokia charger (don't recall voltage but it is 0.8A). It will just charge slower, but otherwise works perfectly.
battery problem
recently I've bought a galaxy tab s 8.4 , but take too mach time (about 6 hours) to charging with it's stock charger (5.3 v , 2.0 A) , when i charged with note 4 charger (5 v , 2.0 A) , it charged normal (about 2.5 hours)
now i have two questions :
1. the note 4 charger is suitable for my device ? isn't bad for battery life ?
2.is it possible that the stock charger was fake !!!???
I use the grand 2 for now 1.5 years and recently i figured out that my phone drained it's battery faster but charging takes almost 4 hours.0_o
What can be the issue?
Btw:the combos used so far
Samsung charger 1A output org. Cable~4 hours
Adaptive fast charger org cable ~4.5hours
Samsung charger 2A sony power bank cable~4.7hours
Ipad air 1 12w charger output 2.4A org cable~5.2hours(0_o)
Generic charger from ebay output 1.5A generic cable~6hours
Rom used:Xosp 6.3
Please help as soon as possible
THANKS!
I am sorry but by mistake i clicked on the q and a thread option for grand 2 can it be changed???
Will my axon 7 charger correctly Whit an aukey 3.0 quick charger 18 w ... Some how my kiddos lost my charger and now and can quick charge the phone so I order 1 from amazon
I have such an aukey QC3 car charger and it works and is very fast.
QC Quick Charge 3 may not be the fastest method but at least it's a standard that aftermarket manufacturers can make products for. This is good for long term ownership. I mostly don't fast charge my A7 anyway. I just use a generic 2.4 amp charger and let it charge overnight. Hoping the battery lasts longer.
I use a Dodocool Quick Charge 3.0 charger and it works perfectly with the Axon 7. I'm sure the Aukey one would be the same.
Thanks for the help I was going nutz since I lost the original charger
I use the stock 5V 1A charger and charging time is about 3 hours. Can i use a P10 lite charger that is 9V 2A? Will it damage the battery or charging hardware?
it could damage the phone in the long run
9V 2A charger won't damage the phone because it will never charge it with 9V as the phone don't support it. The charger will charge the phone with 5V 2A and this one is totally safe
So if i use a 5V 2A charger (my tablet charger), there will be an increase in charging speed?
