Galaxy Note now cheaper than the Galaxy Nexus

Expansys are now selling the EU version of the Galaxy Note for £499 - less than £509.99 they are currently asking for the Galaxy Nexus.

Not bad since my dad paid £570 for his from some site called gadget king or king of gadgets...
I got mine last month brand for £430.
Expansys' prices usually end up being at or near the VAT inclusive price, but they dont mention it. I much prefer Clove Electronics since they don't charge VAT for international shipments.

[Q] Should I Trade?

Was recently browsing craigslist the other day and someone has a factory unlocked inernational galaxy s2 they want to trade for a 10.1 plus 50 dollars. Really considering this. Should I do it?
Have them both. Both are great products IMO. Personal preference really, smartphone or tablet, which do you most prefer would be the question for you to answer.

What kind of condition is the phone in? What size is your Tab and what condition is it in? An international SGS2 has no warranty and if anything isn't working or goes wrong with it you'll have to send it to the UK for repair and pay roundtrip shipping. That could end up being a couple of hundred dollars. It's a great phone, I've had one, but how old it is, its history, and how well it's been cared for are important.

Look like pretty good deal.

TMO SGS II
even its buy 1 get 1, the total price are still the same/ even more expensive than their ebay store. for example. screen protector for Gnex $5 gets two, but only $4 at ebay($1.99 each)~~~~too bad

[Q] Nexus 4 or T-Mobile Galaxy S 3

I have run into a problem! I LOVE Google and have been waiting for the Nexus 4 to be available. I am due for an upgrade so TMO will sell me the N4 for $200 but the S3 for free. Which one is better for the next two years? Should I dish out $200 and get the Nexus 4? Or should I save my money and stick with the S3 and perhaps get the much awaited S4..

That $200 comes with a huge caveat. You have to pay $15 a month until you pay off the total of $499.99.
$299 or $349 off contract versus $500 "upgrade".
Yeah no thanks T-Mobile

That's only true with some plans, others just have the $200 price (after $50 MIR).
I'm due for an upgrade, too; I'm thinking about buying the N4 from the Play Store and then using the upgrade on a free S3 (through this upcoming sale: http://www.tmonews.com/2012/11/t-mobile-holding-two-day-samsung-sale-on-november-16th-17th/) and selling the S3 to get some/all of the N4's cost back.
I was thinking the same thing!

I was thinking the exact same thing! Except why go through all that trouble when I can keep the SIII..Because when the S4 comes out I can simply sell the SIII for a reasonable price which will help me get the S4 but the N4 is cheap with Google meaning I cant sell it for much cheaper..
S3 is beast but slow with updates and more expensive when buying off contract. Nexus 4 is beastly but not as much as S3 and you will be first for updates plus $329 off contract. Get the Nexus.

The S3 will be free for me with a sale TMO is having next friday though Also the US S3 (the one I am contemplating on getting) is duel-core while the N4 has a much appreciated quad-core CPU so wouldnt that make the N4 superior to the S3?

dont focus on cores, focus on the entire package. camera, micro sd slot, battery, etc look at the entire package as well as what the total price will be.

If s3 was offered for free I see why there is any hesitation. s3 for sure and is no brainer.
I would go with note 2 though if u were to pay 200 for a new phone on a contract.
N4 ON CONTRACT for 200 is such a ripoff and is just absurd.
