when i tried to change from dalvik to art its reboot my phone and dont change, why?
in select runtime i'm select ART and its not changed that, why?
Do you have xposed framework installed?. It doesn't support art so it doesn't let you use it.

Xposed Framework FAQ
After installing Xposed, the runtime gets reset from ART to Dalvik. Can you stop it please?
You can be glad that I implemented this, otherwise you would be in a bootloop know. Xposed isn't compatible with ART (yet). It's a completely different architecture with pretty much no documentation. I hope that I can rewrite Xposed for the ART runtime, but don't expect it in the near future. It requires understanding the concept, the code structure and many details to know how it works. Afterwards, I have to think about ways to hijack it and this needs to be implemented, tested and improved again and again. So please don't ask when it will be available - you will surely know when it is ready. - @rovo89

I have a one question ... If it's possible in the pac codina 4.4.04/04 change the runtime dalvik-cache to ART what are the steps to take to change ... or even bug encounters. Thanks for the replies.

It seems like there is an issue with ART since april's nightlies
Best advice would be not to use it
If you still want to try, go to settings > developper options > select runtime > ART
Guys which Runtime are u using on your Kitkat device currently...is it Dalvik or ART? (Dalvik is default)
While ART is still in development...did anyone try it on our Verizon Note 3 and feel any difference in Performance & Battery Life...
Edit: Actually our Kitkat firmware doesnt provide the option to change between Dalvik and ART...
ART/Dalvik

As of now I do not have detailed specs for you but I can tell you that ART does have a slight performance/battery increase compared to Dalvik.
A problem with using ART though, is that if you are using any of the XpoSed modules then they will not work properly since the code is designed for Dalvik. I know he is currently waiting on the code to be released so that he can make this work with ART.
Here's a quote from another post about the battery life using ART
"It estimates that my battery (57%) can stay for 7.1 days on standby"
I noticed today that when i use Xposed Framework ART will not work. I can't see why but always when i choose "ART" it will restart and after restart it's still using dalvik. Then i uninstalled xposed framework and tried ART and it worked. It seems to be only with LG G3. Anybody else tried same?
Xposed doesn't work with art right now. That's why.
*slow clap*
...sorry couldn't resist. It's a well known fact that Xposed doesn't work with ART yet.
Thanks. I wasn't aware of this. Was assuming I had been on ART. Just checked and yep, still on dalvik.

I didn't know this either before this and i thinked that there is someone else for sure who dont know this. That's why i created this topic.
Just to let you all know, the developer of Xposed has said he is committed to making it work for ART but as of yet has not released a timescale, so we might be waiting a long time (possibly even after the release of ANDROID L - in which case we will all be without Xposed until such time it does work with ART, as Android L is ART only).
What Lenny said!^ The xposed creator basicly said he wont release xposed for ART until it is 100% stable (When Android L is released). He has got it working on Art partially in a few experimental builds. But he aint releasing anything!

Because asking is much easier and lazier than looking for yourself. . .right?

The first rule of XDA is to search :/
Recently, when looking for a ROM for my Nexus 7 (2013) I found, that those guys actually also build ROMs for our Z3C. Been using them for several months now and I am very satisfied - very stable ROM.
So here you go:
www.exodus-developers.net/exodus-5.1/z3c/
Xposed users:
Wipe Cache + Dalvik after flashing Xposed. Wipe also after recovering apps with Titanium Backup with already installed Xposed.
Exodus Updater - like in CyanDelta you can add additional zips to be flashed with ROM updates (find it in settings), like custom kernel / Xposed /... (M5 kernel is awesome and works great with Exodus)

Mods: If this is the wrong place for the thread or offends anyone in any way: sorry, please remove it. Just wanted to post it, where people usually watch out for ROMs, so they find it quickly - I didn't see an Exodus thread yet in Z3C sections.

Sadly, yes. Didn't find a custom ROM without it yet. Also got it in stock, but the effect is not as strong there. Still no clean pic with Z3C, neither in stock nor in any custom ROM. Anyway a very good ROM.

How good is the support for this ROM, because on the part of custom ROM support is one of the most needed part.

Well, there is no ROM-thread for Z3C Exodus build... I'm not the creator nor the maintainer of the build, just found it and wanted to share the link, so it's hard for me to say how good the support is, didn't need it yet - everything works fine on my device. Not one single random reboot with Xposed since I use this ROM.
If you need support you probably should watch out on G+ (read pinned post!):

Great ROM, been running it for months, Devs are aggressive on bug fixing.
What is the base of the ROM ?
I also installed it today. Wisely many things are not added in this rom, like camera, calendar, music. 9th October build is going into bootloop bcoz of xposed installer, anyone having similar issues

I'm using it with M5 permissive kernel and Slim Zero Gapps. Try this config, works great for me, no bootloops. You should wipe cache and dalvik directly after flashing Xposed, without doing this you will probably run into a bootloop or get a system starting and constantly rebooting after system is up. Use latest version (v75 arm) of Xposed.

You could easily give it a shot with MultiROM. I'm too lazy to list everything here... ;-P
There are quite a few things. Most important ones for me personally are the customizable clear all button in recents, customizable navigation bar height, double tap to sleep on lockscreen (double tap anywhere) and four tiles per row in quick settings. I also like it to be able to deactivate navigation ring as I never use it and it only gets on my nerves when accidentally swiping over the navigation bar.
It is not this rom version but you can say build after 5th October causing this kind of problem. May be some minor bug with latest builds

No problem with bootloops except one case:
1) Factory Reset
2) Flash ROM
3) Flash M5 (permissive) kernel (for V4A)
4) Flash Xposed v75 arm
5) Wipe cache & dalvik
6) Boot up system
7) Restore many (300+) apps with Titanium Backup
In this case ROM will reboot shortly after TB is closed and a few seconds after system is running and up it will reboot and do this again and again until the battery is empty.
Solution: Boot to recovery, wipe cache & dalvik again. Everything should be fine now, no more bootloops.
This behavior also occurs on CM12.1 nightlies for me so seems to have nothing to do with the ROM itself but rather CM base.

Same here, without Xposed no bootloop at all. With Xposed: constantly rebooting after recovering apps (Xposed already installed) but gone after wiping cache & dalvik again.
