[Q] DVFS Blacklist causing Freeze + Restart - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello all,
When I disable DVFS for the whole system the performance when opening apps is noticeably reduced and power saving mode requires a restart, that's why I'm trying to use the blacklist feature to have DVFS disabled just for certain apps, but it crashes randomly followed by a restart. I use the game Vector as a test because if I lock the phone while loading it, when I draw my password again it freezes and restarts.
I have already tried the DVFS disabler app, disabling through wanam and also disabled every module but with no luck.
I'm running stock rom with the v9 ultimate kernel (doesn't seem to be related to this kernel as this happened with the stock kernel too). I have the Exynos C version.
Any ideas of what could be the problem and how to solve it?
Thanks!!

[Q] SuperUser Help! root acting funny

so i just got 4.3 on my nexus 4 flashed PA and gapps (did next to latest gapps so got promted to update after gapps crash) and i was already rooted.. also didnt recovery any apps or anything completely fresh and new start.. so i noticed the superuser option in the settings and when i press it, it says "currently no apps with superuser policies"... OK .. so my original root still works thats fine, but its acting funny.. like using tasker, i run my task called eco which governs the cpu to run at min384 and max 1024GHz and it says "tasker been granted superuser permission for an interactive shell" so i set the governor for the cpu on tasker to interactive shell and it still doesnt fix my cpu frequency.. and like my other task of when im connected to my wifi, turn off data and keyguard.. data turns off fine but my keyguard has issues... sometimes when i randomly press back it just locks my screen and if i run my task it rarely actually sets my keyguard off.. and i know my tasks are setup perfectly cuz i used it on 4.2.2 and it worked like a beaut.. but its not only my tasker that has issues like my LMT launcher for my second pie acts strange.. like the back button doesnt work and the same msg comes up as last time when the action was granted but not performed.. it says ive been granted for an interactive shell which i dont understand what it means.. everything was default and i havent changed any govenor is there a setting i might have changed on my phone that changed it away from being interactive and thats y its not properly working.. sorry for long post but i need help this is driving me mad.. thanks for ur time!
plz help someone, rare bug where i need to reflash ROM??
in superuser settings, disable toast notifications first.
also, many things have changed umder the hood in 4.3, so many things might not work properly. some root apps havent been updated yet for 4.3, so some might not work properly. also, if i can interpret what you wrote, your rom hasnt disabled mpdecision. i suggest you read around more, youll probably be able to fix your issues.

[Q] Xposed Module limit? Force close city

I have been having issues with "Context Service has stopped" force closes since rerooting my S5 on NCG and flashing to NE9 the other day. I have kept thinking I have found fix after fix, and finally last night I rebooted my phone a good 30 times in the process of figuring out what Xposed module was causing my problem, and I finally definitively found it: too many modules. If I download more than 7 Xposed modules, my phone automatically begins to get the Context Service FC as soon as the phone boots and after every call I make or receive. I am now using Greenify, the app that I thought was the root of the problem, without issue. I had Xposed Torch installed last night and it was working fine after several reboots. Then I tried to install another module, Xtoast, I had already tested to not be my issue. Sure enough, the addition of that eighth module, XToast, caused the Force close issue on reboot and it stayed on subsequent reboots. Uninstalled Xposed Torch and the issue is gone. Why would there be a 7 module limit to what I can install on Xposed without it giving me that error and is there anything I can do to fix it so I can load up the rest of the modules I typically run?
Interesting. I have nine modules going on my S4 w/ no problems.

OOPS ... I thought I was in the S5 forum ...
I think his point was that he is able to run 9 modules without trouble..... and just for the record, I'm running 10 on my s5 (verizon) without issue.... Try uninstalling exposed and then reinstall using wanam in the Playstore (most of your modules will still be on your phone when you reinstall exposed)... Goodluck

[Q] restart issue on screen wakeup

I have an at&t i337, and it has a reboot issue on screen wake up (waking up after it automatically sleeps or it automatically waking up after the call ends and device moved away from the ear/face). I think its a core system software/configuration issue( issue present when I got it at MK2 and it persisted across upgrades to NB1, NC1 and NJ1, also occurs in safe mode). Is there a way to completely wipe (really blank it, system+data) and restore it to the current system update + default system restore? I have tried everything I could based on what I could find on the web (no battery issues, no sd card issues, tried clearing cache, tried factory resets, tried the system fix module on xposed framework, tried deleting knox stuff, tried custom rom using safestrap etc.etc).

Multiple Related Issues - Aryamod, LTE, Xposed Modules

Hey Folks,
I seem to be having a bit of an issue with Aryamod, which has uncovered a few other issues.
I have a Note 3 SM-N900W8 that has "AryaMod Port S7Edge PortV6.0 [Exclusive NoteUX][04 July 2016]" installed as of 3 days ago.
Whenever I start the phone, my cellular data gets stuck between H and H+ constantly switching between the two but never getting to LTE. I can avoid this issue by turning airplane mode on and then off which eventually gets LTE connectivity but it is still a very tedious issue to be having.
To try to help mitigate the issue I installed Tasker, and setup a Task to turn airplane mode on and then off through Secure + Settings on Xposed module, after an uptime (%UTS) of 30 seconds for on, then 40 seconds for off. When I reset my phone, nothing happened. I tried adjusting the time to be 120 seconds for on then 140 seconds for off. Once again, nothing after a restart.
Okay, I opted for something else. I created a new task to execute "Code - Run Shell" command "settings put global airplane_mode_on 1; am broadcast -a android.intent.action.AIRPLANE_MODE --ez state true" then the opposite for off, with Use Root checked. Once again, using the %UTS command.
Nothing.
Does anyone know if there is some sort of autostart manager or app manager that prevents apps from starting when the phone does? I've looked through the ROM manager and other pre-installed apps with no luck, but something seems to be blocking Tasker from starting. This appears to also be true for xposed modules like xprivacy where I do not get notifications to allow or deny new apps unless I start xprivacy manually after a reboot.
Regarding the LTE issue, is there any way to fix this so I don't have to turn Airplane mode on and off?
When I initially installed the ROM, the instructions stated to install PD3 bootloader and modem, which I attempted to do and returned a fail on Odin, and "SECURE CHECK FAIL: aboot" on Download Mode. I tried different versions of Odin, tried finding different PD3 tars, same result.
My phone is currently on DOH1
Xposed framework v 86.0 (custom build by wanam / 20160709)
Smart manager> ram. Set you desired app.
I don't own a note 3 anymore so not really sure if it's really there.

This definitely helped, thank you. I was able to get Tasker to start on its own. Sadly it still takes some time, and I still can't get my task to run.

Wifi switching on and off continously

Hi
Since yesterday my WiFi has been turning on and off like crazy! I have no idea why, I haven't changed any settings nor updated any apps. I googled and checked all the settings, but everything is normal. No power saving, searching for optimal connection etc. is activated. I'm up2date on all apps. Tried to reboot, didn't help. I have no anti virus or any other performance optimizing app. I'm running tasker, but it only has one task where it enables screen rotation in some apps. Tried disabling that as well, didn't help.
I'm running Android 8.0.0 (V20g-EUR-XX) on the H870. I rooted my phone before, but I reverted back to stock Android with stock recovery. Only the bootloader is still unlocked, else it's a stock phone.
The newest app is YouTube Vance, but I don't think it has anything to do with it since I've had tht app for a while now and it was fine since yesterday.
Any ideas?
Edit: I just factory resettet the phone using the stock recovery and the issue is worse, now I can't even enable WiFI :/ I'll have to contact LG I suppose
