I have been having issues with "Context Service has stopped" force closes since rerooting my S5 on NCG and flashing to NE9 the other day. I have kept thinking I have found fix after fix, and finally last night I rebooted my phone a good 30 times in the process of figuring out what Xposed module was causing my problem, and I finally definitively found it: too many modules. If I download more than 7 Xposed modules, my phone automatically begins to get the Context Service FC as soon as the phone boots and after every call I make or receive. I am now using Greenify, the app that I thought was the root of the problem, without issue. I had Xposed Torch installed last night and it was working fine after several reboots. Then I tried to install another module, Xtoast, I had already tested to not be my issue. Sure enough, the addition of that eighth module, XToast, caused the Force close issue on reboot and it stayed on subsequent reboots. Uninstalled Xposed Torch and the issue is gone. Why would there be a 7 module limit to what I can install on Xposed without it giving me that error and is there anything I can do to fix it so I can load up the rest of the modules I typically run?
Interesting. I have nine modules going on my S4 w/ no problems.

OOPS ... I thought I was in the S5 forum ...
I think his point was that he is able to run 9 modules without trouble..... and just for the record, I'm running 10 on my s5 (verizon) without issue.... Try uninstalling exposed and then reinstall using wanam in the Playstore (most of your modules will still be on your phone when you reinstall exposed)... Goodluck

This is the 3rd time i format my phone and until i install wanam i have no issues, but when i do i always get bootloops. Whats happens is i install wanam and reboot to apply settings and then it boot normally, i see the lockscreen and the it turns off and boots directly to samsung letters and hangs there, could hang there for 5, 10, 20 minutes, then it boots back into the lockscreen and then hangs on samsung letters again. Tried clearing cache, nothing. I'm giving up on this wanam...anybody knows how to troubleshoot the issue?

yes, fakesystemstatus was the first thing i activated...i will try to reinstall everything and not touch that
Alright so i started theming, basically just changing a few colors here and there and the same issue happened once again! It hangs on Samsung letters
So the issue is with wanam, i've been running xposed and a few of its modules for the past couple days with no issues, but as soon as wanam goes on, things get problematic
I had both wanam and gravity box running for almost a week with no problem. Last night I thought there were quite a few overlapping settings and maybe I should just stop using one of those two modules. So I unticked wanam in the installer and rebooted.... WAH!! all hell broke loose and the phone just kept rebooting. It must be at least 10 times before it just stopped by itself and stayed on. I quickly went into xposed installer and uninstalled wanam. After that it didn't reboot itself any more. I'm just worried that something might be messed up and I'll need to wipe it clean. Let's hope that it won't be necessary.
So if you're trying to get rid of wanam after reading this thread, just be warned that what happened to me might happen to you too. Then if nothing works, you can always wipe and start again in recovery, stock or cwm.
I just need to mention gravity box here because it does most of what wanam can do and some more. There is even a mod to toggle flash led on the lock screen with the home key, instead of using the volume up key. Also most of the settings are activated without rebooting. Give it a try and you won't regret it.

GB is meant for AOSP-based roms - stock Android, or close to it - TouchWiz is definitely not that. Wanam is essentially the TW-equivalent of GB.
Well that's why I installed wanam first, then I read here someone was using it on his note3 and it works alright. So I tried it too and it's been problem free so far.

I have xblast toolls installed. Same problem here with bootloop after install.
I have 5 Modules installed and it seems there's a bootloop for every mod installed. I think it reboots after the mod is run and then moves on to the next mod. It eventually boots into lock screen and stays there but it can take a while...
I have 2 modules installled, wanam and greenify. Every time i change a setting in wanam and reboot, it get bootloop. Left it there for 2 hours yesterday and it never booted back in OS. Although i have found that clearing dalvik and cache maked it loop only once and then it boots back in OS

Strange. No issues here. I installed xposed, updated and then rebooted. Then played a lot with wanam, rebooted for like 10 times. No issues.

A couple of weeks ago i rooted my phone and it was all good, i installed Adaway, Camera sound off, uninstall and titanium backup. But then my phone started lagging, every few minutes my phone just laggs.
It doesnt matter what app i'm in or how many apps i've opened, the screen just laggs and the touchscreen doesnt respond for a few seconds and then it stops and returns in a few minutes.
Any ideas what may cause this?

I also installed xposed and the extended snappchat module

Did you install xPosed? Some people have reported lagging when using xPosed on their Note 4's.

HI ,
i also have N910F ,rooted , xposed etc . i found that the lag was caused by xposed .
I followed this post #22 and post #32 re , " angelky " advice and the lag was sorted out ..my Shealth is working fine and private mode( which gets broken with root, is working) ( wanam /settings Security hacks then tick Disable Secure Storage.)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/help/xposed-t2904937/page3
good luck
As somebody reported thet they are experiencing lags after installing wanam xposed and other guys are doing just fine with the module working on their phone, would anybody be willing to post the guide how exactly wanam should be installed without bad cosequences for the phone and all apps to work flawlessly.
Thanks!
I'm also having this issue. It works great with Note 2, but with Note 4, it locks the whole phone. Super SU stops responding or responds with a huge delay. Only uninstalling Wanam module didn't fix the issue, I had to fully reinstall the xposed framework to bring my phone back to a normal behaviour. So far Note 2 is still my official phone until I sort out everything I need to make Note 4 works comfortably for me, so, there is still no SIM installed. Could this be the point? My phone is a 910C with NJ4 firmware. I appreciate any help.

A user having a similar experience as yourself posted the following on another thread (I haven't tried it, since I'm still waiting for my N910C )
After installing xposed I had a serious lag problem, including apps installation lags and other general slowdown, which I resolved.
For anyone having this lag, xposed framework seems to be incompatible with S-Health and Health Services.
To resolve, do this:
Uninstall Xposed and Reboot
Wipe data of S-Health and Health Services
Freeze S-Health and Health Services (using Titanium Backup or similar)
Install xposed and reboot
Install the xposed addon XSecureStorage, enable it and Reboot
Unfreeze S-Health and Services (using Titanium Backup or similar)

Thanks ernani for pointing us to the solution. It works!!
I have this app as it comes with a cook ROM. No problem except I cant get some of the things to work. One example, the vol + button for flash doesnt work well.

I always had issues with these "all in one" apps. Some features do actually works well in some ROMs and not in others. Gravity mod has also some nice features, most a lot similar with Wanam but in one some features works and not in the other app, so a believe both are more or less complimentary. Just a thought.

This is the S5 fix...
XSecureStorage
"One of the issues i noticed on GalaxyS5 was the SHealth incompatibility with Xposed (described on this thread), somehow if you are using Xposed framework, Secure storage will fails to process and save data, which leads to Sensor service hangs
This module bypass the secure storage checks on SHealth and Private mode services, and will let you load the SHealth App with no hangs and activate Private mode on Rooted Samsung devices running Xposed framework.
I did just the basic tests for SHealth because i don’t use this App anyway, it’s not easy to play football with a device on my hands/pocket ."
http://wanamlite.com/xsecurestorage/
Yes, Wanam has an option to disable XSecureStorage but (at least when I tried it) it didn't work. After installing XSecureStorage it resolved the weird lag I was having installing apps and such, and S Health works now too.
I think there was also another post that I saw with a small file that I downloaded and installed since I don't think S Health worked at first install of XSecureStorage, but after installing that and clearing data for S Health it worked.
This worked perfectly for me on my Note 4.
http://gs5.wonderhowto.com/how-to/f...hes-when-using-xposed-your-galaxy-s5-0157344/ It might have been all in my head, and maybe it even does the same thing, but following this guide seemed to make things smoother than using the option in Wanam Xposed.
Hey, this is basically a question/help thread which I am currently experiencing with my Note 4 which I recently rooted.
I have been experiencing serious lag issues that have just made the use of my phone unbearable at this current time. The apps that I have installed which now have deleted to see if maybe this was experiencing the problems are: Freedom, Xposed Installer, Root File Manager, Root Checker, Adfree, Build.prop editor (Found a topic that said to edit the ro.securestorage.support=true to ro.securestorage.support=false ) Did that but didnt fix any problem. I will state below what kind of issues I am experiencing with the lag and other issues too.
When installing a new app from the play store or even from a downloaded APK it will take for ever to install from the APK and from the play store it will get stuck around 80% for about 30minutes before it starts installing then the install takes another 30minutes or so, same with installing straight from the APK. The lag issues consist of scrolling issues through the home screen (Happens every so often). A lot of keyboard issues when trying to type text to people its just a nightmare to use this.
I want to know what I can do to actually fix this issue, whether other people have had this issue, and whether people have any solutions. I am new to the android community and even newer to rooting, so I may be a bit of a "noob" but I learn very quickly. I dont feel like unrooting and reflashing to stock. (This is a last resort) But if push comes to shove I will do this.
Thanks for reading. Hopefully you guys can help me

Try this first, uninstall xposed framework, then install any apk (either standalone or from the play store) and report back to see if you have that problem.
If you don't have much set up, I recommend going back to stock via ODIN, see if installing app works properly.
If it doesn't, you might have a defective phone. If it does, then it must be a software issue which we can resolve.

Yeah, well I have already uninstalled xposed framework, as i said that I uninstalled everything that required root access (even when installing something that requests root access SuperSU takes about 10minutes to pick it up (This only happened after installing something but I didnt really take any notice at first) I will probably have to go back to stock, but being in canada right now and not at my actual home the internet is so slow to download the firmware -_-. Literally installing apps takes forever, uninstalling takes no time at all.
For me the culprit was exposed. Ended up having to restore my nand, and stay away from exposed.

You need to install the xposed module XSecureStorage.
Why we need install the XSecureStorage is something with privacy or S-Health problem I have the same problem, but I have installed Xposed since the first day and not have this problem until few days ago.
I like Xposed and use maybe the Instagram Downloader and Youtube Ad apps only so I want keep it.

After installed the Xposed Module XSecure Storage my apps install fast and without troubles, thanks Lessaj
XSecureStorage seems to solve the issue
Hi
Just a quick note to say that I was having the same issues after rooting and installing Xposed and that by installing XSecureStorage the problem appears to be solved.
So thanks Wanam for XSecureStorage and thanks to Lessaj :good: for pointing this out.
Also getting 'Google app has stopped'.
It started yesterday randomly, my phone was rooted and on 6.0.0, xposed and some modules.
I reset back to stock, updated to 6.0.1 and now rooted it again and installed modules.
After I did that all the bug came back. I get these warnings very, very often and Google Chrome is simply not able to be used, it stops after 2 secs and you will never be able to use it.
What is going wrong? I use the alpha 4 xposed + v80 sdk 23 arm version.
I do not want to redo everything, why is my X Play going nuts?
Nvm I retraced steps and worked it out. Either Titanium backup is causing it or a Amplify wakelock or service that I limited.
It seems limiting Icing is what breaks the phone, do not limit it in Amplify and it's fixed.
