There are two versions of the ace
One that uses Qualcomm
The other uses broadcom same as galaxy y & has the same cm as galaxy y
Qualcomm release their source code hence a working cm
Broadcom don't release source code hence no official cm
Devs have used limited sources available - adapted & modded sources - wrote own source codes - adapted source codes from other devices
In order to bring a functional cm for galaxy y
Cm11 can be found in the Dev section - it is NOT a port - its built from source
A port is a rom from another device that has been "adapted" using a Base rom from the phone you wish it to run on
On a side note - questions should be posted in question & answer section and have a meaningful title - help please is not meaningful

Wasn't the copying per say - was the fact the person edited names of apps & tried to pass them off as their own
This took place a few years ago & there are also alot of other reasons why that person was banned - I do not know the actual reason as I'm not a mod - Therefore I don't wish to speculate further
XDA is all about open source & sharing
It's fine to use others work long as it's in its original form or you get permission to change it & is used in accordance with the creators requests
I have used others work in creating mods but I always where possible give credits & linked to the guides Iv used
The same goes for anyone who uses my guides or mods - feel free to - Just add my name in the credits

Hello guys,
i have read that many people ask if you can use Samsung apps in CMA(AOPK) based roms. Yes it can, i try it my self and it works.
Here is the link just try: Not allowed as new user to put the link.
Look under Android-Hilfe

Hope i helped with that some people.
What apps are included? Do you have some more information?
Just Samsung Apps (the application, not all Sammy apps). Thank you for the "link" nl_mah!
No problem was searching it my self, now i found it i wanted to share it.
Perhaps someone that allowed to put links in a post can put the link... cos the side self is german.
I need it too.where can find it for cm9?
Check my post on Cm9 for those having problems installing it. Can't post it from my phone.

I'm new as a posted to XDA but I'v ebeen making kernels for the Nexus S for a good while now. I've managed to take the GIT of android 4.2 and get to to compile with the crespo source from the cyanogenmod jellybean GIT repo with some minor modifications.
I currently have a GT9020A (fido canada network) and I'm currently running android 4.2 on it with my custom kernel.
Kernel Changes
-Overclocking enabled to 1.3 ghz as that's the highest I could get my phone to go stable
-added VR i/o scheduler as default
-added smartassv2 as default governor
-removed fsync for performance (francisco kernel)
I upgraded this os from a stock android 4.1.2 firmware all I needed to do is wipe cache no factor reset
I don't currently have a working installation of APPS and the image is not rooted. Like I said I'm new to this.
Since I haven't posted on the forums before I can't post a link to the firmware I made. Can anyone help me with this?

I guess the issue is that I haven't currently made 10 posts on xda-developers therefore I'm not allowed to post external links guess I'll have to be patient and post regularly so I can actually get the links out there.
Contact the user darkargon here on xda. Or on irc.freenode.net #andromirror. He hosts builds/roms for free and with great support.
Can we PM? I want to build for sgs1 i9000 which should be similar to your device.
I have fully synced android-4.2_rc1 and cyanogenmod jellybean git repo as you did but now I'm stuck.

I would to try that ROM as well. It easy to see 10 posts.

the option doesn't exist in the 4.2 stock source because google isn't making one for the crespo. I added crespo to the source from CM10
you can add it by extracting this file to the root of your 4.2 source

Hm, not working for me on i9305 with 20131215 nightly There's no button in app dialog to move the app.
Did you modify settings, or did you have to give superuser privileges? I didn't get the question at all...
Update: The dev of a different app (FolderMount) told me OMNI had a bug in RamFS that causes the failure
Latest src didnt give me app2sd
I mailed to the author of an App2SD app Abscheu replied this was a kernel problem, because ramfs for Kitkat need some environment variable exported that has all the partitions in order to allow App2SD. He told me CM11 had this, but neither Omni kernel nor Boeffla kernel for Omni have it. Boeffla maintainer has been told for i9305, and he said he'll tell Boeffla dev, too.
Where should we go to get this done in stock Omni kernel?

I'd say we'd better use the official bugtracker , so I filed the issue along with the proposed solution. Maybe you could vote for the issue so the devs may fix it earlier?

Whomever said it was a ramfs issue is wrong, because the SECONDARY_STORAGE environment variable IS set for smdk4412-common devices:
https://github.com/omnirom/android_...blob/android-4.4/rootdir/init.smdk4x12.rc#L18
So, the question is how to get app2sd working...
Everybody says its not his fault

obviously being new to the forum id of thought that it had been done in error but is that all you r reply for me or did you have an anser to my post or just wanted to know why it was in wrong forum
I guess DumbleCore asked why you posted/asked here because (1)He may not have realized you were new, (2) saw your question about an Avatar ROM in an AOKP forum (3) was trying to politely redirect you to post in the correct forum(s) to get answers from s4 mini owners and Avatar ROM developers and (4) all of the above.
