I own HTC one M8 and I flashed Gpe ROM and the android wear app recognised the moto 360. The ROM got updated and from now on the android wear app won't recognise the watch! I tried to uninstall and reinstall, reset the watch and nothing works. Help?
Have to reset watch.

That's strange... I had no problems syncing my gpe one m8 to my pro 360... Which rom you using? Maybe it's a Bluetooth issue?
Im also on skydragon gpe rom and my 360 connects fine

I had the same issue.
on my new ROM, I added all my apps back using titanium (I feel this is where it messed up).
-Reset the watch.
-uninstalled the android wear app, and got it from the play store this time (rather from restoring it from my titanium backup)
-opened the wear app and started the process as if I had just got the watch
It synced up just fine.
All the apps for my watch were re-synced and have been working fine as well.

for reasons most likely obvious..*cough*Cough*spooffreemiumoffers*.I would like to change my android ID..however...I heard that this can break several things including licenses and other play store related items..so I figure I could ask some questions before i make a ballsy move.
1. i'm using TB Pro on a Nexus 7. I already know how to CHANGE my ID to a random one but..Is there a way to backup my current ID or keep it?
2. in TB Pro I see "restore ID from backup" How do I backup my current ID or where is it on my tablet?
3. once I achieved what I wanted to achieve with switching ID's..can I switch back?...and how easy is this..will there be any repercussions?
4. "whatdo" with this app? - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vcastroi.changeid
Thanks
guess no one knows what to do or how to answer my question?
Make a backup in recovery. Your android id is saved into the backup you just made

Why change back? The only problem you will eventually run into is running out of licenses for play music, which can be solved by deauthorizing devices.

i've flashed tons of ROM and i haven't had a google music license issue...yet again I haven't PURPOSELY changed the ID either..
would this help me double my rewards when it comes to tapjoy?...I've been doing some research..if I clear or remove the tapjoy databases that show what offers i've done..it SHOULD let me do them again and keep my premium currency the same. I did this using my Rezound and my Nexus 7 and swapping TB backups to unlock all the WatchWhat Anime features.
I just got an invite to try Aviate, but apparently it's incompatible with my G2. I do have a custom DPI set, so I wonder if that is the problem. Is anyone able to install it on a G2 with stock DPI? Or at all?
Edit: Okay, I tried going back to stock DPI, but the Play Store still says it's incompatible with my device. Don't know why Aviate won't install. I'm running CleanROM on an AT&T G2.
I am able to install it but obviously can't run it because it's invite. Also it lit up my malware checker. Tapjoy banner ads and another in App ad pusher

If you could find the apk you might be able to push it with root explorer. I have seen issues like this in the past with Roms. You could also try going to the play store on your on and send it to the phone. If your phone is reporting the version incorrectly than that won't work either

I did try sending it from the play store on my pc, but it is listed as incompatible on the Web play store too.

I running it on my stock rooted vzw. Only issue I see so far is the battery drains a little faster but not bad. Takes a bit too get used to.

It's working fine on mine. No issues whatsoever so far as I can tell.

I have used it for couple of days. Today I installed a new ROM and restored it with GO Backup. As soon as I install an app from the Play Store I loose my settings in Aviate and cannot make a fresh install because of lack of compatibility. Before the last update It was definitely compatible with my G2. Strange. Anyone has a solution? I like it very much.
I tried Aviate & no problem at all. Using stock 4.4.2 rom.
Sent from my LG-D802
Here everything fine again. I received first class support form the Aviate team. Had to remove the app, and after reboot I could install it again from the Store. However, I needed a new code that arrived within 5 minutes.
I learnt that we cannot restore Aviate by a backup app: at the moment you open the Play Store it looses the settings. Maybe the incompatibility issue was caused by restoring through GO Backup as well.
Running stock KK and Aviate. No issues, but you lose the ability to use Knock, Knock, (Knock, Penny) to turn off the phone. Also, not all widgets work with Aviate. I personally like the Aviate launcher. The developers are very responsive and they publish updates regularly. The most recent added notification count badges to certain app icons.

Hi together,
is there any app or possibility to use a display mirroring app/standard (like miracast) to share the smartphone screen on the fire tv? I am using a LG G3 with stock rom and it supports miracast. Until now i haven't found any solution, only a youtube video without explanations.

AllCast doesn't actually mirror, it just sends certain content from the phone to the device. That said its the closest thing I have found so far.

This app is for Iphone (ios) not Android as far as I can tell. We are looking for something that works for mirroring from an Android phone.
Read the last few pages of the tgread I posted. You need to go to waxrains website and download thier sender app. Just read the thread its all there.

It does actually. You need to find the beta mirror apk that koush released several months ago. I had it working awhile back.
Edit - file name is Mirror_1.0.1.7.apk if it helps.

Didn't work with an Xperia Z2 or a One+ One. The options to mirror are grayed out unfortunately. I think I'll e-mail the app developer and see what he has to say.

Apk file attached. Moderators please remove this if necessary.
Make sure to install allcast on the firetv. It will add an option I think in the system settings to mirror to the TV.
So install mirror on the phone?

No problem. Just checked on my tablet too where I know it was working a month or so ago (nothing had changed on my tablet) and it's not working either. I wonder if the beta file had an expiration date. I think koush has done that in the past with some of his releases.

Didn't work for me either. Just crashed back to the home screen on my One+ One and my Xperia Z2. I don't have either of them rooted yet so that might be the issue, or there could have been a timer in the beta as mentioned. With the airplay/dlna app for the Fire TV the developer got back to me and said the phone needs to be rooted to enable mirroring for his androidsender apk to work so I will try rooting my One+ and see how that goes. He did mention the feature is very experimental at this stage.

I have recently traded in my Xperia Z5 for an LG G6 and backed all my data up from my Z5 to my computer using Xperia Companion, thinking that I would be able to transfer all the backup data from there to my G6, but it seems I can't, I was just wondering if there is any way around this and could anyone please help me, I have very important messages and all of my contacts backed up onto my computer but nothing on my phone.
Any help/advice will be muchly appreciated!
For the contacts you can export from previous phone then import into new from the contact app or if you have synced your contacts to a Google or Yahoo account, they will automatically appear on your new phone.

I only had a few contacts backed up to my google account, the rest are on my computer backed up with Xperia Companion, and I can't transfer them to my LG G6 and when I got the G6 I had to trade in the Z5, so I do not have an Xperia Device to restore it back to that and then wirelessly transfer the data..
There has to be some sort of program to be able to do it surely.
No luck.

It sucks as I also have about 20gig worth of photos backed up, and they are all encrypted and can't restore them back to my G6
I think you are screwed and bond to buy the another Sony unless you can borrow a Sony and restore into it then split data between media/contacts etc... I don't know another way with an unrooted phone like the G6.
If you get the hand on another Sony, you can use LG Mobile Switch or "Send Anywhere app".
If you hadn't encrypted your media you could have put them onto a SD card and then restore into your LG G6.
I really don't think there's another way. If someone has I would be happy to hear it too for the future.
