Kitkat update ran into problems

Hi i just updated to Kit kat rom now am having issues with sound and camera not able to make calls or receive calls anything related to sound makes the sound freeze, other things works well like wifi bluetooth network sms and internet tried sweetrom and also echo rom both having same issues anybody can help me out with this

have you tried reflashing to see if this makes a difference ?

Did you wipe device before reboot after flashing?
The 2 systems are very different so a wipe is needed....

If you facing problem then do a factory reset, else no need.

Thanks guys flashed the official kitkat rom through odin same problem, then grabbed the leaked one with the four files and flashed it and now everything working smoothly even custom roms are working flawlessly.

[Q] [REQ] My i9505 doesn't want to play audio during calls

I'm trying to restore audio during calls, a friend of mine messd up with firmwares and roms and now the phone can make regular calls only via bluetooth headset.
My phone is now with latest Italian TIM stock firmware 4.4.2
I've flashed a lot of stock firmware, modems and wifi-fix but with no results.
Knox security level doesn't help.
Can anyone help me to solve this problem?

voip calls are still working (skype, viber and others) the problem is only for "normal"calls

Hei i have installed on my LG p700 This ROMand i dont have sound in cam corder or mic rec, i try a lot kitkat versions i wiped all data, and no sound. Today i install baseband v10 and i haved sound, but not read my SIM card. If install baseband 20/20d/20e/20h my SIM work but same no sound. Microphone work only in calls but not on speaker. Any ideea how can solve this problem? I like kitkat i i dont want to go back to jellybean or older rom.
PS: Sorry for my english.

I tried...
I tried a lot kitkat roms + CrystalPA and nothing, no sound.... if i flash V10 baseband mic work perfectly but not and SIM card, and that is not good

You hace a p705 and its a know bug. Dev are trying ( I thing) to solve this iasue. Gnow whatsapp and other app mic doesn't work either.

Can't record video on lollipop touchwiz rom

Hi guys
I came from jamal rom v40 s5 port for note 3 on android 4.4.2 and i tried android lollipop resurrection remix and it was great but i decided to return to touchwiz to try s6 port.. i installed it and everything worked fine, except for recording video: when i tried my phone reboot, everytime and also with other application like whatsapp or other camera application.. i can take photos but not video. I tried other rom 5.0 touchwiz and the result is the same, but with aosp rom it works.
what can i do? My friend has the same rom i want to install (dark lord s6 port) and he can take videos so i know that it's my phone's problem. how can i resolve? I want you to know that i can't take video with every touchwiz lollipop rom and every kernel.. i can't understand why

So I solved it by:
Using Odin 3.11.1
I have already tried Factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, flashed the latest stock Lolipop or older lollipop with ODin and nothing solved the problem.
So I tried to flash the latest stock lolipop with Odin and marking checked (Auto Reboot , F. Reset Time , Phone EFS clear, Phone Bootloader update).
I suspect that the Phone EFS clear did the trick. It's function is related to the modem and radio of the phone. And clearly the modem has a problem here.
I hope this will help anybody out there having this issue.
This problem happened after trying to flash lollipop using FlashFire app to reserve the root that I had in my previos Android KK 4.4.2.

Calling issue!

from last few days I am having a call problem which I use to have when I was using stock KitKat rom,
Problem.:- when I make a call or receive a call most of the times there is no sound at all however the call gets connected but I cannot hear any voice or sound,
Before also I faced this prob then I updated my bootloader and modem and all went fine,few days back I again start to face this problem, I updated the bootloader and modem again to the latest one in my country UAE but no luck.
Baseband- i9505XXUHOJ2
Rom - GPE UNTOUCHED 5.1.1
Any help is greatly appreciated

Same problem here,tried HOL2 and HOJ2 modems ... It happens sometimes,somestimes not.
