HTC ONE in Germany (orders / arrivals)

Hey Community
I just opened this thread because i wanted to know if somebody of you has more information of the avaiability of the HTC ONE in silver and black? I called many of electronical shops and they have no one in stock. So what is with you guys? Do you have any Information when the Htc one will be avaiable in shops?
By the way i am switching from Galaxy S3

Nice to hear that the role out in Germany is beginning but the avaiability in electronical markets like media Markt is still bad.. Hope that i can soon buy the black one!! How is the feeling with the New htc one??

I just bought mine, silver 32GB, in Media Markt in Erding. Still transferring stuff over from my One S, can't wait to get playing with it.
Didn't pre order, just walked in and bought it.

What quality issues do you mean?
Mine seams to be as excepted... simply perfect...
no pixel errors... no problems or errors in the painting
the one and only backdraw for me is the known difficulty with SMS delivery report
you simply cannot configure it so, that you get the delivery report but it will not be handled as "new" sms
the ASOP App is alot better in that point.

Has anybody got the black one?

I will dismiss my Nexus S with broken screen on Christmas.. probably Galaxy S4 with Snapdragon 600 (for a good price) but I have to look at Nexus 5 before I decide (LG?? Motorola?? specs??)

So... I can't buy a new phone like s4, butterfly or one... I need to buy in second hand from Android forums (Android PT).
BTW. I need something bigger and with a better resolution (540x960 min.).
So I looking for a galaxy nexus or something with a bigger camera... but galaxy nexus still my favorite.
PS: we don't have the nexus4 here in Portugal! So.... galaxy nexus ; )

Probably Sony Xperia Z, the IP57 certification is a plus for me.

Got myself a Galaxy S3. Got a decent price for a decent phone. Sorry Nexus S, but you were just too slow for me.

I'm looking at the S4, possibly the S4 Mini (if it's announced). My contract is up in July so I have a bit of time. I would like to stay with a Nexus, so maybe I'll wait for the Nexus 5 announcement and hope that it's not boring.

Nexus 4 probably, as I'm only 16 years old and don't have a huge budget. Maybe a Nexus 5 if it will be as money-saving as the Nexus 4!

I have a iPod, too and I bought it before my Nexus S. So I know the advantages and disadvantages. Full-Wipe? iTunes can do that. It takes more time but it work
But I won't sell my Nexus S so I will stay in the Nexus S Section

Don't think you can go wrong with the N4: A competitor phone with great specs and even a greater price of $300. The demand for it speaks for itself.

I think I'm going to leave NS and buy smaller tablet like Galaxy Tab 2 7 or Nexus 7. I realised I read a lot of material on my phone but bigger phone is just out of the question.

I know, it looks really cool. I was thinking about something like this but built into a low profile case. I would also buy it if it works as advertised.

It works, but only for media and probably backups, not apps. Don't get the 16gb if you already have a big sd

It's not just a flash drive, a big chunk of that cost is coming from the fact that it's also a wireless access point. It can wirelessly share it's data through network connected machines. Pretty cool idea if that's something you need.
I like the idea above about putting storage capability into a phone case. Very cool idea. Kickstarter would eat that up.

Don't think so because not a single android device is equally shaped in comparison to another one so there is not "the" case so there wouldn't be that much money invested on kickstarter because you can't build one case but need to build several cases for every single android phone so the time and work and money that would be needed to publish such a case would be enormous... And everyone would just donate for a case for their device so the money would be to fragmented...

I agree about the Android phones. If it were me, I'd make them for the iPhone 5 and 4s. Once I made a butt-ton of money from that, I'd start making them for selected high end Android and WP8 phones that don't offer expandable memory (I'm lookin at you, HTC).
