Xperia Z in the Philippines

Ok this phone is already available in the Philippines on Sony Mobile stores priced around 30,000 - 32,000 same price for all colors and yes we have the LTE version of the XZ so my fellow pinoys will you be getting this phone?

well got mine from Sulit.com.ph phone was worth about 28,000 no warranty LOL

Got mine from gameextreme for 29k now its around 25k lol. i love the phone and looking forward for globe lte prepaid sim..haha

Buy Xperia z Tablet 3G uk

Hello guys, does anyone know where i can buy the Xperia Tablet Z 3g? Been looking EVERYWHERE for 2 weeks there is either no stock, or only Ebay links, for american resellers.
Or would the USA version work on the Tmobile Baseband overhere

I would counsel against getting a US model unless you're certain it'd work. US networks are generally quite different to UK ones and I wouldn't, by default, expect a US device to work in the UK. Maybe someone with actual experience can correct me, though.

Was that on contract? As I want to buy outright. If not I will have to go with the 32gb. I don't mind having the 4g, as it still has the 3g basebands.

Bought one from o2 after them saying it was unlocked. Took it back 5 minutes later due to being locked. Bought one from Vodafone and exactky the same. After 2 weeks of sony being out of stock I came home that same night and at 23.30 Checked online and was in stock! Not going to lie its a beast!

Android 4.3 coming to Xperia Z

According to multiple sources android 4.3 is coming to our Z. In this article it stated that it will release in the last week from November.
What do you guys think? Will the update get the Honami UI and hopefully some camera improvements?

I believe that Sony still wait till 4.3 stable just to make convinve, before they build their own, and launch to the end user..

Ha..i can see them "wow look at this nothing has changed I'm so enjoyed"

A lot of people will resent Sony for pushing the Z1's ui onto the Z but fortunately I'm one of those people that are in love with it. I'm already running the Z1's launcher on my Z but I really like the other UI improvements like battery icon and white themed settings etc. Since my phone's relatively new I won't be experimenting with custom roms just yet so I'm really excited about 4.3.
Additionally from past experience with 4.3 (via CM 10.2) on Xperia T it is faster than 4.2.2 so I'm wondering what that would mean for my Z that's already flying through everything I throw at it.

The worst thing was the Honami's camera

I don't care that much about 4.3 as it's a minor change. The thing I'm hoping for the most is kexec kernel. If the awesome devs here manage to get it working - CM here I come. If not - well, it's not a big deal for me.

Just preordered my black z2 with Clove. First stock is expecting to arrive on mid April. Selling my z1 on ebay and let the waits begin

^ expected next month though PH pro'lly get it may-jun. expansys-ph has it on their "coming soon" section already. i've seen the z1 compact on kimstore, cmk & expansys-ph. btw, that language is technically not allowed here, bro
i'm thinking of getting the z2 as well to replace the one on my sig, especially if globe offers this on postpaid. but for me, it's really a toss up between this and the oppo find 7 qhd version - similarly spec'd but bigger (and pro'lly better) screen and a bit more cheaper for the US$599 price tag at launch
