[Q] L7 ROM installation help - Optimus L3, L5, L7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Greetings. I'm currently using a 4.4.4 ROM. Baseband version says RRO. However. I want to install slimkat based on 4.1.2. On stock ROM I had baseband version v20d if I'm right. However, it says I need v10 baseband in order to install slimkat. What exactly should I do? How does the procedure go? I mean, with the baseband & ROM install. I know how to install ROM, but not sure about the baseband. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Baseband installation is same as ROM.
Just flash v10baseband for L7 zip file via CWM after/before 4.1.2 rom install.

There are more v10 baseband to choose from. Does it matter which one I download? I'm from europe

Just keep it EU if its said.

Best way to go about installing a 4.3 ROM from 4.2.2?

Hi, I'm on uxylon 4.2.2 and I wanna go to PSX 4.3. I have twrp installed, im assuming I have to flash a new baseband and modem before the ROM?
Can I flash them through trwp?
And where do I find the download links for them?
or can I just install the 4.3 ROM without updating anything?
Thanks

You dont have to do it, but its recommended to update your bootloader and radio to the newer versions.
Downloads: bootloader and radio.
To install simply flash them through TWRP. Then do a full wipe and flash the 4.3 rom of your choice.

What you got to do is flash 3minit latest framework with out any other mods installed ,so just omega then should work
Thanks for reply, there is no version for the mh6 build i am on or the now mh9 firmware i recently flashed. Which one would i even choose? The baseband model or the build model? And when you say without any other mods you mean from a fresh reinstall of rom after factory wipe?

[Q] flash xxuena6 from xxuena2? possible?

Hi guys, I just flashed a xxuena2 stock 4.4 kitkat rom via odin and was wondering if it was possible for me to flash a xxuena6 rom (the polish kitkat rom) over it
The main reason being, I think the xxuena2 baseband is whats stopping me from installing a custom rom - but I have no idea
The baseband is NA2 and the build number is NA6 they're one and the same afaik.
As for installing a custom ROM well you can install NA6 based ROMs only like flexkat, sweetrom kingdroid and crashrom. But not CM or older builds of said ROMs.

Hello,
I would do it like that.
1. Download zip file of the rom you want (CloudyFlex 1.4)
2. Check first page of the thread where u downloaded ur rom.
3. Read everything carefully and if there is nothing wrote about to flash baseband then u dont have to.
4.Follow flashing instructions
5.Enjoy

4.2.2 files are listed here not as .zips though. these are complete stock so you would have to reroot after the fact. Directions are also listed in how to perform the stock flash

[Q] from 4.2.2 to 4.4.2

hello, right now i'm using miui rom (android 4.2.2). i want to install a 4.4.2 rom. where can i find firmware and how can i install?
You may need to flash the radio , recovery and bootloader flrst but what I did was flash the official update from Google
https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
That's the link to the site update via adb there's loads of info on hear and youtube on how to do this.
Then flash a custom recovery and root again there's loads of info on how to do this.
Doing it this way makes everything on official 4.4.2 recovery, bootlader and radio so you shouldn't run into any problems later.
