Accelerometer and gyroscope not working all the time. Only after restart. - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
A while back, I have noticed that my pedometer from S Health is not counting steps, so I restarted the app, but it still wasn't working. Then, I noticed that actually the accelerometer was not working. I have tested it by using #0# code and the accelerometer sensors and the gyroscope sensor have the same number value all the time. At first, I thought it is a hardware issue, but I noticed, that after restarting the phone, the accelerometer is working fine, then in a few minutes, sometimes even hours; it stops working, out of the blue. When this started I was on Lollipop, so I thought it is a Lollipop problem, so I came back to KitKat, but the problem still persists. I have tried factory reset, wiping all the data and cache, two different stock ROMs, and even NAND erase in Odin (I don't even know what that means). The problem is still there, the only thing that solves it is just to restart the phone.

[Q] All sensors stopped working!

I have a stock Verizon GS5 running the stock 4.4.2 that shipped on it, and I have not accepted any OTA's or other updates.
Everything worked normally until Wednesday when for some reason all the sensors on the phone went dead, and the phone became impossibly slow for about 10 minutes after a reboot before it returns to normal. I hadn't installed any new apps in the last few weeks or changed anything on the phone that I know of. I did try downloading Malwarebytes for a scan and it found nothing.
I have no accelerometers, ambient light, barometric pressure, proximity, magnetometer, or heart rate. Fingerprint and GPS do still work.
Does anyone have any idea what happened or what to do to fix it?
Thanks,
-B

Do a factory reset. If that does not fix things, RMA it back to where you bought it.

Accelerometer Turns off. Turns on after restart.

I couldn't find any other thread describing a similar problem to this. But after since I updated to lollipop firmware, I'm getting this weird issue.
The auto-rotate stops working randomly. Then I open CPU-Z and it shows me a blank (No readings from accelerometer).
After a restart, I get readings from accelerometer in CPU-Z and it all works again. Then after several hours or some days this thing repeats.
Tried a full reset but didn't help. Any Idea what the exact reason might be?
Thanks.
Bump!

WiFi unable to turn on

So this morning my WiFi was working just as usual. But after that I went out so I turned it off and when I return home, my WiFi isnt working anymore. Its not that it wont work completely, but it keeps connect and disconnect. I just can't use it. After an hour I'm going out again so I turned off the WiFi. I was so annoyed by what happened so I decided to play with the WiFi toggle. Guess what, it wont turn on. When I tapped on the toggle it slides to the right remained greyed out, and stucks there. It will not turn on. I rebooted it many times, it worked for about a second then it stops working again. I tried to find out if it was software problem or what, I rebooted several times, disabled root, reflashed ROM, cleared cache, but it still wont work. I even factory reset it by clearing data and caches and reflashed my ROM but it still wont turn on.
Then just now I did a few Google and found out it may be hardware problem and many solved the issue by whacking it at the back. I tried it it worked for a second and the problem comes back again. Then I suddenly remembered that I heard some shaky sound from the upper part of the phone when I shake it. I noticed the sound long time ago but I didnt bother. And I did some sports this morning with my phone in my pocket so I think its the wifi antenna contacts.
Okay assuming it wasn't a hardware problem, is there anything I can try to be more sure that it's a software fault? I did factory reset from recovery. And is that shaky sound a hardware bug or it's normal?
Update: I can't turn on Bluetooth too so it's definitely a hardware problem since they share the same antenna. More over I saw this line in logcat thus making me more sure it's the antenna

Yes it's hardware.

Trouble with sensors after the recent update

This is a problem I didn't notice right away. I attribute it to the QF2 update because wife also has an S7 and experiences exactly the same issue.
In a matter of hours after reboot the internal sensors stop working or behave erratically. Sometimes the phone would go to the lowest brightness, the screen will not turn off by the proximity sensors during a conversation. Functions relying on shaking the phone stop working. Some (but for some reason not all) apps don't switch to the landscape mode. I downloaded several sensor testing apps and they confirmed my suspicions. After the reboot everything works, but several hours later sensors start showing random values or "no data".
Does anyone else have the same problem? With two affected phones in my possession it can't be a random fluke.
The phones are not rooted.
I had an issue where the phone no longer responded to "OK Google". Turns out I uninstalled all the updates to the "Google" app and reinstalled them from Google Play and that fixed it. I wasn't sure if it was the OTA for the phone or something else, but the OTA might have jacked something up somewhere. Have you cleared cache and such to see if that fixes it? Otherwise, I'm having no issues with the sensors not working.
Thanks for your suggestion. My phones are set for manual updates. I updated everything and rebooted. The sensors worked fo about 12 hours and stopped. Which cache you recommend to purge? Google app?

Several sensors stopped working

Since a few weeks, several sensors on my phone stopped working without a reason (no upgrade, no change, nothing).
Proximity, light and rotation stopped working.
I tried a full factory reset, including wiping cache, data, ... but no change.
There are several other people with this problem:

I had the rotation problem twice, the first time I fixed it by dropping it upside down to the floor about 5cm and it get fixed, and the second time I dropped it again of 5cm but it did not work, so I dropping about 10cm and nothing, 20cm and then it worked, until now.
