Not to be a party pooper, but we already have this thread in the themes and apps section - one might argue that it's better in the general section, but maybe we want to keep it to 1 thread about photos?

20 Megapixel mode

Don't get me wrong, but I guess we should really keep it to one thread only. Further, I can't exactly relate the few photos posted to the claim of "best photos ever taken"...

What settings are best for photos on the z3c? auto mode or manual and just select 20MP?

I use manual, 15,5 mp mode with image a bit underexposed (one or two bars) with ISO from 100 to 400, never on auto.

Fantastic photos, thanks for sharing and for the tweaks.
no problem matey ill be workin on more soon i hope
From the very beginning I've always diseregarded pictures taken by the HD2 as they always looked with "washed away" colours. And I am not necessarily comparing them to my eos 400d, they do not keep the pace even by far with my very first coolpix 3200, let alone the coolpix s2 I have now.
They may have nice detail sprint, but the way the colour is so undetailed putted me off big time.
Not to say that this effect is absent in your pictures, but they are the very first I see made by the hd2 that have that effect the least visible.
EDIT: since I'm at it, why not asking if you can provide the registry keys that can be imported after every flash in order to update the camera settings to 5M/widescreen off/grid on/sharpness and contrast+4 and so on? You know I'm dead lazy when it comes to search the registry
EDIT2: btw, are you sure that the flower here

is really pink-ish and it's not the horrible pink stain in action?
EDIT3: for the comparison sake, this is a picture I shot this morning to take a memento of one of my blossoming plants (it was not a test by any means), and all the quality enhancements have been set:
and I still see the horrible washed out effect...
Some of mine taken yesterday, without any fixes, just stock 1.66 ROM...

Camera Scenes Comparison

Hi!
I know that Official KK is gonna be available soon for our phone, so I was thinking about small comparison of all camera modes, before and after KK.
I have latest official available soft(Non Network carrier phone/Spain): 4.3 10.4.1.B.0.101 no root or any modifications.
Images are taken in full res without stabilization(Normal Mode of course).
Time: 18:00.
Sun is a bit behind left side of building, but still visible in the sky(that had few clouds) so we have nice neutral ambient light.
For now images from 15m distance, I'm gonna upload also images from 2-3m but that later.
I cropped images in place when we can see hard for camera scene full of high contrast black-white(bike) but also red colored trunk of the car, and a bit of green on top(small but still). Bike have loots of details so its easy to compare how every camera mode modify scene.
PS I had Polish language set in my phone so I don't know if English names of each scene modes are good :]
PPS I know that some of you think that its not needed, but looking at this images you can also see how every mode modify image so its good to remember if you looking for quick setting up camera
Because of big file I cant upload it to forum so here is external link to image(if you have problems viewing it click HERE):

In this week I try making this 2-3m images comparison in good lighting so we gonna have all camera modes in most common scenes :]
Hmm not sure if that was a good idea.
You should have done the images now.
To compare it it would need to be on the same day, with the same light with KitKat and Jellybean.
You most likely not gonna have the exact same lightning when KitKat gets officially released
But a nice idea anyways. :good:
Man, you did a really great job. You're my hero

Dont worry about that is almost summer now in Spain. Every day is the same: Hot like hell, sun in the same spot, few clouds in the sky. :]

My first Android game. Need opinions and comments :)

i like the performance and the sensibility , a little more kind of obstacles would be great for the game.
To be honest, control with tilting is a little bit too difficult for me.

I went to a Tech-Store ýesterday.
There were two Galaxy S5's.
In Burstshoot mode:
One of them can take 30 Photos in a Row, the other one can take 1000!
But why? Why is it like that?
Are that two Different Models? Ore Different Camera Settings? Because someone in my class has got the Galaxy S5 with 30 Burst shots/second. She plays very often with her Burst mode. But she'd like more Burst Photos in a Row! (and the S4's Camera UI with the Big Cute Shutter Buttons)
What i tried (didn't work!):
-Resolution Adjustment
-Switching off Some Features like Image Stabilisation, Speech-Shutter and so on...

Don't blame me please! (For any reason, z.B. if my English is not so good.)

For any Possible Reason, this might be two different models. However,
if you know, why there's an S5 with 30 Burst Shots in a row and a another a Galaxy S5 with 1000 Birst Shots, then please tell it here.
You don't have to, if you don't want. Lol
Why i made a thread for this (nobody-interesting nearly useless) Question...
Because nobody answered me in the Galaxy S5 and Overall Noob-Friendly (All-Question1s)) forums, i had to make a thread for this
Info: Problem Solved
Here's the Solution (Sorry to say for G900F-Users)
30 Shots in Row:
G900F
Galaxy Note 4 and S6 :crying:
1000 Birstshots in Row:
G900X (Live Demo Unit)
G901F
G906S
...and G901X doesn't exist...
S7 and Note 6
Note 4, Note 5 and S6 are limited to thirty shots while iPhones and Xperia are not limited.
Let's hope, that Samsung removes this ridiculous restriction in 2016

Here's a shot I took in Cologne of the cathedral. I think it really shows the incredible contrast levels that are possible with the Honor 8.
