Hi guys,
I am having n910H and the battery life is not so good and its exynos. Here in India the offical release is n910G and its snapdragon . Do you think if I change it to G the battry life will be better ?
I dont know about exynos but battery life on sd is moderate too.Although it only looses 1-2% overnight.Fast charging is like a boon, else it was very diificult to wait for 2-2.5 hours for full charge

The exynos version has fast charging too.
Yes this is what I am saying. Also if ull switch ull suffer heavy loss as exynos one is imported. They don't have much difference although exynos have little advantage. My suggestion would be to stay on what you have

I have a galaxy note 3 N9005 and the battery life is not what it should be. I've owned this phone for about 5 days. I always have power saving mode on with all the smart and air features disabled. I charged my device to 100%. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks
Wow, that's some horrible battery life. I'm not seeing anything like that on my device though.
Did you condition the battery probably?
And of over 3 hour screen on time.
My advice: try to recondition your battery
As in, let it die, recharge to full from wall outlet. Do that about 3 to 5 times. Don't force it to die just use it normally so the battery will discharge power properly this will causes it to hold more charge.
If you do that and the battery still doesn't hold charge then your battery is good as dead.

Wow you get amazing battery life! Thanks for your help
Is your screen brightness set to 100%? And was what you're doing over excessively white? Because that might account for some of it.
Did you unplug it last at 100% battery, or somewhere halfway? Because from the look of that table, you unplugged it around 50%...

You have defective battery plain and simple. All this talk of calibration is for birds. This lithium batteries don't need that.

I would just to head off a Pandora box of ish. I pretty sure it's battery but why not just get new device get a second unboxing feeling plus the sooner you do it less attached you are to current device. Then pimp out new device with DynamicNotification. My 3 cents

I have been having some issues as well
its getting better since last Thursday since i got it but its still not 1 day.
it used to be 5 hours from 100% to 20% brightness in auto
Do we have to "train" the battery to achieve max capacity?
is it battery defect or phone?
I was the owner of Note2 before. And now Note3.
Is it just me or anyone of you agree that the batt drain faster than Note2.
I test it with stock unrooted, no additional program installed, same 4.3 stock Sammy.
The N2 is using 4.3 leak but the batt can last for 1.5day with moderate usage.
But N3 can barely sustain a half day for light usage.
Both WiFi on, both no apps installed, no root.
Anyone notice similar?
It has been reported that the gnote2 has better battery life. Still rocking mine.

Now rooted and also underclocking to 1.5Ghz max.... Still batt is crazy....
Also if BBM is active, its hogging up resource....
What's your model number?
I wonder is the snapdragon version have better batt than exynos...
D**n internet.... made double post....
Strange. In my case its 20% better. Try to lower the brightness and turnoff all animations.

http://www.phonesreview.co.uk/2013/10/19/galaxy-note-3-battery-life-results-disappoint/ I know everyone's usage is different I said that based of a test that was run.
Having owned a note 2 and now a note 3 I must say the note 2 has a better batterylife imo. Both rooted and undervolted. Pretty much the same apps as well such as greenify etc. It ain't a very big difference tho, in my case.

and not mention to memory leak.... touchwiz alone eats 400Mb RAM with 2 home pages...
And by that 2 home page, it only contain samsung's accuweather widget and S Planner widget....
So crazy.....
RAM keep floating at 200Mb....
My note 2 was def better on battery..I had to buy the sammy spare battery and charger kit for my note 3 if that tells you anything.
I honestly expected better in this regard

Hello all,
So i decided to root my note 3 in the end and not at all sorry i did!
Ive installed TB and greenify and did the freezing etc. . .
My phone when in idle does not drain at all and overnight stays the same % till i look next morning . .
Theres hardly anything running in applications running section in options but when i start using my fone with wifi/data or anything it starts to drain quick?
It might be normal but i know this phone has a big battery and wanted some feedback on what you guys r using etc for battery life . . How long will ur battery take to drop 1% while using wifi etc??
Just need some feedback and advice please . .
Thanks guys

u need post the battery usage with no plugin. my phone had root and TB and greenify too. over a night it lose 1-2% battery and i on screen about 6h then battery has left 15-16% with 3G, wifi etc...
Had the phone just 2 days and noticed that the Android System is taking most of battery. I am managing 3.5 hours on full brightness. I am happy with that but I am wondering why the Android System is taking up so much. Any ideas?
Here it is

I'd love to know this as well since it also takes the most ram. My S3 was, sadly, more efficient.

Here is a screenshot too just to prove I'm not talking trash haha. I uninstalled Facebook as sometimes that would idle and chew 100+MB of ram. I also disabled some bloat too
terrible battery life
I'm having terrible battery life I have the exynos model and it consumes like 10% in 15 minutes using facebook. My note 3 batery life is amazing but I´m very disappointed with my s5, I hope samsung can fix this with an update.

Check your battery stats, mine uses 10-15% in an hour...
Autobrightness or manual?
(please, don't tell me 100% brightness...)

Autobrightness on... also the lights of my buttonss don't turn off even if I set it to 1.5 seconds, the only way to fix it is enabling ultra P saving For a moment. .but when I reboot the phone, the problem is back
Hi i'm loosing about 4% in 5hours in standby .. is that normal ? My signal is very good ! i'm using only whatsapp and some games.. Sync is disabled , location too .. I don't understand why i loose like 1% every hour ... my phone was litteraly on my desk and didn't move !
1% battery drain in 1 hour.. I think it's okay..
It's perfect. What do you expect from a quad processor and a lot of sensors? That's about 100 hours or 4 days of stand by time. It's really ok, you have no reason to worry. Enjoy your Smart-phone!

With my nexus 5 everything stock which has a bad reputation with battery life, standby time was something like 0.33% for 1 hours ! (same configuration as my S5, sync off/location off/almost same app) i was loosing 2-3% over night.. that's why i'm worried
