Can anyone help me? I have an LG g2 d802 in software version says d80220b, my carrier works with 2g and 3g on 900 mhz and LTE on 1800 mhz but after configure the apn settings the phone only connect to 2g/edge network... No 3g or LTE... I selected wcdma prefered but nothing happened it continues on edge connection... I used my brother's simcard (another phone company) that works 3g on 1800 mhz, installed and worked without problems and i dont know why .... My phone description says that works hspda on 900 mhz and LTE on 1800 mhz ... i've heard in another forum that maybe my phone have an Asian version of the software, but how can i check that? ... Help me please i'm tired of 2g/edge connection ...

Did you find solution? I have same issue not connecting to 900mhz 3g
Hi - I have LS980 on cm12 rom. I have subscribed to Airtel 4G connection however I was informed that LS980 does not support 2300mhz and hence 4G is not possible unless the Airtel also starts providing 4G connection on 1800mhz.
Would someone be able to guide/help me in letting me know if it's something can be done so my phone thinks I have 2300mhz, similarly like "QUALCOMM NV CALCULATOR".
Please let me know if this is possible to have 4G/LTE from Airtel in India on LS980?
airtel 4g
I think the only model that supports 4g lte in india is d802t. Airtel provides at 2300mhz only...
Hi,
I've been going through a lot of posts for this, but I couldn't find a definite answer. Even though Band 40 is supported by D802's hardware(and also shown in the LTE bands in the hidden menu), used along with the Airtel 4G Sim Card(Karnataka, India), I still can't use it because it is disabled by software/firmware? Also, I can see LTE in the Network selection menu. How is it that I can see the Band for LTE(2300 Mhz) used by my carrier but can't use it??
Anybody able to explain this to me would be of great help!
Thanks!
- Amith
Never mind, I moved on to G4. On a side note, i couldn't get the 2300 Mhz band to work.
I recently own a X829 variant with 16S stock rom. Use dual sim feature and this is all I can get in data usage (voice works ok do):
SIM 1: 4G 2600 mhz OK, 3G and 2G 1900 mhz NOT WORKING
SIM 2: 4G 2600 mhz OK, 3G and 2G 850 mhz OK
The phone detects 1900 mhz band (either 2G or 3G) and I can use it for calls, but it cannot use it for data. I want to use the data plan of SIM 1 because I have much better data plan.
If 1900 mhz were not supported (Information says it is), even voice call wouldnt work, right?
Maybe I will need a unlock band feature provided by this user?: https://forum.xda-developers.com/le-max-2/how-to/guide-unlock-bands-leeco-le-max-2-fix-t3439154
Best regards to all
Your using T-Mobile in the states? ( location and available bands might be a factor)
Sounds like maybe just a settings issue. If you remove one sim, can you connect to these bands?
I'm using at&t in the states and specifically use one sim for data, and second for calls/texts, but can only use ONE at 4g at a time.... Can't have both at LTE connection.
I'm afraid not, I'm from Chile so I'm using local providers:
SIM1: Entel
SIM2: Movistar
I already test switching SIMs trays, I know I cannot use tray 2 for 4G/data. but it's funny I can only use 4G in both SIMCards in tray 1, but not 3G/2G in Entel carrier.
So If I use SIM1 in tray 1 only I get 4G, wich is good, but as I move far from city and 4G is not available, it will switch to 3G/2G (it appears in phone tray) and data will not be available anymore.
Install official Chinese s23. From the official leeco page. That will upgrade radio firmware and fingerprint firmware, from there, then you can flash any other custom ROM or stay with s23. Which is stable and good. Also full date wipe is recommended.

I'm not familiar with those carriers, but google says all those bands should be supported. My only other suggestion would be to upgrade the firmware like already suggested.
16s on x829 was made for the states, not sure if that's what's holding you back,
Remember to backup, save your data and modem files.
Ok, so I tried Indian 16s, and a (slighthy) moddified chinese 23s without success, same issue: can call in 2G/3G 1900 Mhz Band but data doesnt work in that band.
