Lost 3G Data with Sprint - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed back to a stock rom and did a NV Rebuild on my phone to fix my GPS settings. I flashed back to a custom ROM after rooting again. Now I have lost 3G data connectivity. 4G, phone calls, and SMS work fine. I've done some searching and have not been able to find a fix to this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

I will add that I'm on a Lollipop ROM

Did you check the APN settings and make sure all parameters are correct?

cant get any data connection

upgraded my rom from my sig to HTC rom seen here
http://www.htc.com/us/support/mogul-sprint/downloads/
now i cannot access any data plan stuff.. no internet, etc... what can i try to get this working?
i reinstalled the rom in my sig and it isnt working either...
i know that the custom rom installs and you install the sprint carrier (in my case)
and it worked.. this isnt working now...
so i am flashing back to the OEm... which also took my radio back to 3.42.02 so i flashed that back to 3.42.50 and still no luck....
may just take it over to sprint to have them flash it... it will have the htc rom
Do a search.
There is a restore function on data connections that will reinitialize the data connection settings.

never heard of that one. You may have lost your "A" key. Try loading the rom you want with the radio you want, provision it and call sprint to reactivate it. This has happened to me way too many times to count.

No 3G Data/Internet after rooting

Hello, I just got the phone today. I tried rooting the phone using the CF-ROOT method and everything went well. I then proceeded to flashing GingerMOD Vanilla Rom through CWM. After rebooting and getting into the new Rom, I was not able to get 3G Internet connection (I can still make calls).
Anyone know what is going on? I tried ODINING back to Stock ROM and I am still unable to get any 3G Internet

I did set my APN manually and it still does not work. Anyone else? This is frustrating.
Is your Imei present? (settings->phone info-> status) or is 0000000000000000?
If you have your imei still present, there is always hope.
Otherwise, i dont want to be drastic, it is possible (but dont take this as good) that your efs folder is corrupted (that's why is always good to backup the efs folder)
Im not good enough to tell you something else, just start check imei, and when you provide this info probably someone better than me, can help you.

Problem fixed. I had to create a new APN with the username and password. The one that was included did not have the username and password. How does this get wiped? Maybe the ROM I installed didn't include those values? How do I delete the old APNs? It seems like they can't be edited or even deleted.
This kept me up all night, trying to fix it. When it just took me 2mins while driving to work
Thanks for all the help.
APN network settings MMS all are produced by the CSC .
CSC country specific .

Root gets rid of all radio stuff?

I had an issue with Alliance rom. It went from wifi to 4g and I lost the prl and other stuff (said unknown). I only had wifi.
I was able to Odin back to stock. It took like three times as it would not move past the activation screen.
Now, on stock, I flashed TWRP recovering using ODIN, then used the CF root from Odin also. Phone restarted and while I have the 4g logo, I have no phone and the information is missing again (PRL). I do get wifi.
I just used Odin to reflash stock and it is still doing it. I also used the imei tool to restore what I had backed up (EFS). Can anyone help? What is going wrong?
Edit: Phone restarted with root BUT now I cannot make calls (it says roaming) and I am missing the prl and other things again. HOWEVER, I can use wifi, and 4g and no texting also.
If anyone has a clue I'd like to know, thanks.

I actually could not find the stock modem. I DID solve it.
1.) Odin back to stock. It will freeze on the activation screen.
2.) Remove sim card after shutting down.
3.) It will get past that and connect with wifi.
4.) THEN clock on roaming to turn it on with sim in.
5.) Phone will then contact US Cellular to "activate and program." It will finish after a few minutes.
6.) Restart and enjoy
In case this happens to anyone else. Thanks for the help (lol). I've had a Droid Eris, HTC DNA, and a Droid Bionic.

No data on touchwiz

I seem to have no data when I flash back to Touchwiz. I need to do this in order to fix GPS since apparently it broke again in CM11. I was told the fix was to get a lock in TW and then restore my backup of CM11.
When I flash: StockRootedNAE.zip, I have no wifi/mobile data/cellular connection. I have the NAE firmware on my phone.
So how do I get mobile data on TW?
Any input?
No input at all...?

I have experienced several no data sessions on cm11 nightlies over the past month or so. I thought it was maybe the ng2 modem so I odin back to nae and had the same thing. wifi seems to always work but mobile data appears connected but wont actually send/receive any data. I have no idea what caused this however if I go settings>mobile network settings>prefferred network type and change it from LTE to 1x and airplane mode on then off then let it connect to 1x for a few minutes then change back to LTE then airplane mode on/off then it connects back to LTE for data successfully. Hope this helps!

My CM11 issue is GPS like I said, not data/wifi/cellular. The latter problem is on TW when I flash the zip I mentioned, even with NAE firmware...

i-9505G, Correct APN but no data

Hello folks,
Galaxy S4, Play Edition, currently rooted and AOSP 7.1.2 installed.
I rarely used data on this phone and never since I installed the ROM. Lately, I needed the data often and I noticed that I do not get the data on this ROM. I confirmed with the carrier about the APN settings (Airvoice Wireless, att MVNO). The carrier reset data from their end. I tried manual APN entry but none worked.
Searching on the web led to various ideas, like reset network settings, airplane mode on/off etc etc. Tried everything, no change in the status quo. I am at loss on what is the problem. I tried the SIM in my wife's phone (HTC One X, Kitkat) and it worked without any issue.
I could not figure out PDA, CSS but the baseband version is I9505GUEUDNL3, in case if it needs an update.
I checked the thread (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/general/ref-galaxy-s4-i9505-modems-bootloaders-t3315987) over and over but didn't understand what/how this stuff is worked out.
I am really going nuts and I do not want to pony up for a new phone at this moment.
Any help is appreciated.
Flash back to a stock ROM and check for data connectivity. If everything works, it's a ROM issue rather than being a hardware issue.
The issue seems to be related to the ROM.
I restored to 5.0 (LRX21P.S012.141205) and the data works flawlessly.
