hello how are you?
i haved galaxy mini s4 lte gt-I9195 with official kit kat 4.4.2 with hebrew on it.
the lte option is gone when i updated from 4.2 to 4.4.2 from ota.
what should i do to fix it please?
i really need your help.
thx.
I read that you can switch between CDMA and CDMA/LTE, if you go into dialer and hit *#*#4636#*#* and then go to Phone Information, you actually have the ability to turn LTE on/off. I dont know exactly how it works, or witch option you should chose, so please search XDA for more info before doing this.

You flashed wrong firmware for your device (and don't lie telling me this is an OTA update. Over-the-air programming (OTA) refers to various methods of distributing new original software updates for your own device). Do you own a i9515 or a i9195? Take off the battery and under you will see your model. (pic attached)
i swear that i didn't flash anything.
i was update it from 4.2 to 4.4.2 maybe it was from kies and not from ota i don't remember.
it's GT-I9195 that's what write there (and sorry for my big mistake of the diffrent model).
what version i need (if there is no other solution for this)?
can i just update without wipe or i have to wipe it?

do you have a stock rom, are you root?
WIFI is kernel controlled , if you are root and have a custom recovery and have a custom rom you could try a different kernel ....
If in stock, flash again stock rom , maybe something went wrong during OTA
WIFI
My wifi was also off Until I found roms and fix from XDA
Now GT-I9505 is working great

Thank you for your time.
I don't actually have any idea about flashing or updating. All I know is that my S4 was okay until my nephew updated it to Kitkat. First I noticed that the mobile data is not working. I ignored it because I always use WIFI, then I also noticed my bluetooth isn't working as well. And recently the WIFI gave up too.
My nephew tried what he could like rooting, flashing kernel I think, modem wifi fix and custom ROM but nothing resolved the problems.
When I press mobile data, it turns green but there's no signal indicator, but if I put on another sim from another carrier (I'm in the Philippines by the way) mobile data turns on as I see signal on the upper right part of the screen.
But no matter what sim card or what carrier I'm on, the WIFI and bluetooth do not turn on. It also shows bluetooth and IP address unavailable.
Do you think this can still be fixed or is a hardware issue?
Thank you.

Hi .
is hard to tell without knowing for sure what has been done , what i would do , after backing up ( efs included) is returning it to stock i do not know what carrier you have but for example you have this one
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/35105/I9505XXUGNH8_I9505OLBGNH2_XTC.zip/

Product Code: XTC

Yes you can , but you have to start all over..root , custom recovery and then flash custom rom , towelroot is used to get root with out tripping knox warranty bit....but if you are going to flash a custom rom the bit is going to be tripped anyway if it was not already.
This is just depressing.
I downloaded the file twice but when I'm already unzipping it it says folder is empty. I tried to download it on my tablet as well but it always fails.
I don't know what else to try. If only I can just go back to jelly bean.
Thank you for your time anyway. Thanks a lot.

Hi, I was able to complete the firmware update to XXUFNBE but its the same thing, no mobile data, no bluetooth and no wifi.
I put it back to XXUNGH8, same thing. I don't know what to do anymore. Is this a dead end for me?
Hi, I am having the same problem. For some reason I can't type *#1234* in the dialer (I can, but it doesnt do anything). My wifi stopped working a long time ago when I received official OTA to kitkat. I've tried flashing different kernels and roms, but no success. I tried flashing WiFi fix from the other thread, but it didnt work. BT and sound are fine.
ROM: 11-20141024-NIGHTLY-jflte
Baseband version I9505XXUFNC9
Kernel version 3.4.104-cyanogenmod-g52b4b50

hi
sorry for late i have tell u what the result of *#1234#
i have tried SEE SCS firmware which is suggested by you. But after root i have same problem im root with CF auto root file with Odin. File name is " CF-Auto-Root-jflte-jfltexx-gti9505.tar "
Before Root :
AP: I9505XXUGNJ8
CP: I9505XXUGNJ8
CSC: I9505YXXGNK1
and After Root:
AP: I9505XXUGNG8
CP: I9505XXUGNG8
CSC: I9505YXXGNH2
So I tried a few roms this morning (Resurrection Remix, Goldfinger, Imperium) and since then, i've noticed I'm no longer getting a 4G connection. It's either 3G or H+.
I have no idea why, can anyone help me out?
Before anyone asks, I've tried *#1234# and I get the message "Connection problem or invalid MMI code."
can anyone help me out?
I've now got CM12 installed, after a complete wipe of everything, and still no 4g -_-
You have to be on a stock ROM to get the AP, CP, and CSC of your S4, as the code only works through the stock dialer. Speaking of which, install a stock ROM and tell us if the problem continues. If it does, BEFORE flashing back to your custom ROM, please post the following information.
1. Model Number
2. Android Version, found by going to Settings > More > About device.
3. Firmware Version (AP, CP, CSC), found by dialing *#1234# in the dialer or by installing Phone Info from the Play Store and running it.
4. Service Provider
5. Country
6. Is the phone rooted? (Yes/No)
7. Is a custom ROM installed? (Yes/No, and the name of the ROM)
1. Model Number - GT-I9505
2. Android Version - 4.4.2
3. Firmware Version - AP: I9505XXUFNB8 CP: I9505XXUFNB8 CSC: I9505BTUFNB3
4. Service Provider - 3 UK
5. Country - United Kingdom
6. Is the phone rooted? - At the moment, since I've just installed stock 4.4.2 - No.
7. Is a custom ROM installed? - No. Stock.
Appreciate the help!
You didn't mention whether you were able to get LTE on the stock ROM. But, check to see if your network is set to LTE/WCDMA/GSM in settings.
No im still only getting 3G/H+ and yes, its set to LTE by default.
I always get 4G when sitting at my computer, but ever since I flashed a couple different roms last night, I've not been able to get a 4G signal. I havn't a clue what's happened.
Flash the stock modem for your phone through Odin. Do it twice if need be. Sometimes the modem firmware fails to correctly register leading to odd problems like this. Check to be sure everything works, then flash the custom ROM of your choice, or stay stock but debloat your ROM.

How do I know what my stock modem is? Thats what confuses me.
If you're unlocked, you can use any stock modem you want from the modem thread in General. Grab the one at the bottom of the list as it's the latest.

ok I flashed the XXUGNG2 modem. If im not mistaken XX designates United Kingdom, and NG2 seems to be the latest of those. So thats the one I flashed. So far there doesn't seem to be any difference though. Checked it via *#1234# and CP reads I9500XXUGNG2 so It looks like it flashed properly.
Ok crisis averted. It seems 3 must be doing some kind of maintenance in my area because I just tried an EE sim card in my phone and it recieves a 4G signal just fine. Nice of 3 to do maintenance at exactly the same time I decided to try a couple of new roms.... Just my luck.
Anyway, there doesn't seem to be anything wrong my phone after all, but thanks for your time trying to help me.
Hey all,
I don't know what is my phone origin but all I know that it is still on December 2016 security patch and 6.0.1.
My info:
AP: G935FXUU1BPLB
CP: G935FXUU1BPJJ
CSC: G935FOJV1BPK2
I'm fed up of waiting.
My questions:
1- What happens if i flash via ODIN any 7.0 rom that I download from sammobile (say Poland's XEO)?!
2- Can I flash it without losing all data?!
3- If you find another more suitable rom that suits my info above, i'll be thankful!
I'm asking because, in the past, I used to do that on all my Samsungs without issues; yet nowadays I see lots of CSC talk that I don't really understand!
Thanks.

1. It's safe you do. I ever flash 7.0 BTU (obviously not my region)
2. Yes you can. Make sure select HOME_CSC ...
3. I do not know
You can flash any European firmware if your phone is unbranded and unlocked supposed to have international version G935F. Do not flash carrier specific ROMs. Flash all files in odin- ap,bl,csc, etc.from zip file downloaded from Sam.

There are 2 csc when you download the firmware
1. home_csc = your data will be safe
2. csc = your data will be lost (factory reset)
