[Q] Galaxy S4 with GPe rom - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys, i'm from Brasil, and my english is not so good...
But... I have a Galaxy s4 gt-i9505, and I flash on it a Google Play edition rom. Recently, come to me a notification that says the Android 5.0.0 came to my device. But, as I flashed this rom and rooted my device, the actualization just downloaded and doesn't complete the instalation.
There's a method that I can instal the 5.0 in my device? I removed the root, but it still flashed the rom and CWM custom recovery...

[Q] My S4 detects the firmware as an official GE

Hello everyone.
Today I flashed the latest ROM 4.2.2 of Jamal and I skipped this update.
I do not know if this is normal, but it seems that I detect my I9505 as a S4 Official GE. Guys do you think? I have fear of giving mobile update and I brick the phone.

The OTA would fail if you tried to apply it.

I have a problem with my S4 I9505G

Dear friends,
I wanted to flash a stock firmware on my S4, however, since I succesfully did that with Odin, the phone just won't pass the Samsunglogo screen. I tried the right firmware for this device. It came with originally 4.3 before it was rooted. Any help? Or am I doing something wrong?
greets
What u had installed before u flashed the STOCK Rom?

If the ROM you mentioned has corresponding support to s4 , then yes, and it should be the same way you installed CM11

[Q] Recently installed 5.0 on my S4 and now I'm stuck

Basically, I lost my root when updating to Lollipop GPE on my regular S4. I didn't realize this before I deleted my backup (stupid idea I know).
I did find this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2794879) which, from what I assume, I can just install and my phone will go back to 4.4.4 rooted but here is my problem. Since I installed Lollipop GPE rom on my phone the model number is now I9505G even though I originally didn't buy that version of my phone, so do I flash the I9505G rom (GPE) or the regular I9505?
If it helps, I'm with bell in Canada and I was installing jfltecan roms before this all occured.

Jfltecan is refered to the model: SGH-i337M. Try to reflash the stock ROM for your model via ODIN.

[Q] Downgrade S4 from CM 4.4.4 to Stock 4.4.2?

I searched through a lot of posts with the similar issue but none of them were quite similar to what I had in mind.
So the thing is, my Galaxy S4 came stock with 4.4.2. I installed SlimKat 4.4.4 Rom on my S4. It's great but I get the occasional "Camera Freeze" and "Camera can't connect" issue.
I wanted to go back to my stock T-Mobile stock rom. The latest version they have I believe are 4.4.2. I came across this Rom which is stock AND rooted. Google "stock rooted galaxy s4 rom", it's the first result. They said I can just flash this Rom using TWRP or ClockWork.
Can I install this tom? What I had in mind was to completely wipe KitKat from TWRP, Factory Reset, and then Install the Stock Rooted 4.4.2 rom from TWRP. Can it be simple as that or do I need to do more complicated stuff with ODIN? If so, what is the best way for me to go back to T-Mobile stock?
My device is S4-M919
Thanks

This section is for the International S4, its variants, and the Google Play Edition S4. ROMs tailor-made for your S4 can be found at the above link. In general though, if installing a ROM through TWRP, make sure to wipe data and cache before installing. You shouldn't need to use Odin at all unless you plan on rooting again and customizing the stock ROM T-Mobile provides.

I just want to reply and let everyone know that I've flashed it and it went smoothly. ClockWorkMod gave the status 7 error. So I flashed TWRP and it went perfect. Best of all, CAMERA IS FIXED !!!!!!!!!!!
