[ISSUE][LOLLIPOP][MIRACAST/CASTSCREEN] Fail to PIN pair with WiDi TV - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I experience problems with connecting to my Samsung T24B750 Smart TV via Intel WiDi (fully supported by Miracast so said...).
1. Nexus detects the device just fine.
2. Every attempt of connecting to device fails - TV generates PIN code, but no PIN popup shows on N4, just info that Nexus is connecting -> connected and using screen - which obviously isn't true.
2.1. Attempt of connecting using developer option WPS configuration - KEYPAD also fails - kaypad is shown, but PIN isn't being sent to TV (I guess).
TV gets the request of connection and generates PIN using any method chosen on phone.
I'm attaching my logcats - using default (PBC) WPS configuration method and 2nd using KEYPAD.
(I've tried with Jellybean and KitKat too with same results)
Maybe it's the TV? If anyone can read logcat with Cast screen data, then maybe you will know where the issue is.
Also you could help me out by providing me with a logcat of successful Miracast connection.

Pairing bluetooth pinless mouse

Has anyone gotten a Bluetooth mouse to pair without using a pin?
I'm using a Microsoft Presenter 8000 mouse with the Bluetooth dongle just fine. However, I would like to use the mouse without the dongle. I get prompted for a pin which the mouse doesn't use. Is there a way to manually pair from a shell?
Sent from my A500 using xda premium
Did you try 1111 or 0000?
Sometimes those work as a default on painless devices.
If it comes with a USB adaptor and wireless does not mean it uses a standard Bluetooth profile.I have on that says wireless. 2.4 gig and so on.I thought was Bluetooth. Its not or something prevents it to connect to anything other then the USB adapter it came with.even my computer win 7 will se it as Bluetooth but not connect. Even turning security off.
The mouse doesn't use a PIN. Binds with other computers just fine without the dongle and no PIN prompt.

As already mentioned, that could be because of support Bluetooth profile between different machines and with/without dongle use. Try the defaults most devices use which is 0000, 1111, 9999, and 1234. If that doesn't work, you'll need to look at the support info for the device as I can assure it, there is a hard-coded PIN somewhere in that device
For example, I have an Bluetooth OBD-II reader for my car. On my buddy's phone (cannot remember which, but was a Windows mobile OS) did not need a PIN, but connecting to my Android, it did.
I'm digging up a fairly old topic here, but Google brought me here. I have the same problem with the same mouse. Did anybody figure it out? I am not actually using an A500 but the fact remains.

N10 can't see Miracast display

I've got a Miracast-enabled Android TV Box (JUSTOP Android 4.0 TV Box HD), but my N10 can't see the remote display (I've enabled wireless display and searched for displays but it doesn't show up). The Android/Miracast box seems to have Miracast running fine, and is displaying a Device ID on the Miracast page.
Has anyone managed to connect the N10 to one of these devices using Miracast?
The Android TV box is connected to my network via ethernet - could this be the problem?
I've managed to get the Miracast receiver to see the N10 as a peer device. I clicked on the N10 in the list and sent an invitation to the N10 to connect. The invitation popped up on the N10 and I accepted it, but then....nothing. The N10 continued to report that there were no nearby wireless displays.

[Q] Nexus 4 and Samsung TV ScreenMirroring

I can't connect my Nexus 4 with CM11(kitkat) to my Samsung Smart TV.
1. I select the option Screen Mirroring on the TV, it's says that it's waiting for the device so...
2. Settings>Display & lights>Screen Cast and there is the tv under the name [TV]Bed room
3. Select the TV and say connecting to Android_abc.. then Android_abc is connected and after 1 or 2 seconds the Screen Mirroring Close with the message: Screen Mirroring has terminated or finalazed (it's in spanish so..)
On developer options the option of HDCP - DRM I chose: Never. I read somewhere that with CM that option would work.
When I active the certification for the wireless screen, when I select the tv I send a message with a PIN then I recieve a message from the tv with another PIN.
Sometimes the tv show me a PIN that I should write on my device so the pop-up appears and I write the PIN but in all the cases th Screen Mirroring close.
PS: cm-11-20131217-NIGHTLY, update it today 12/18
Same problem over here... I read that we should use the "AllShare Cast" app from samsung for samsung devices. However this app was adapted for other devices but I find only dead link now...

[Q] allshare cast dongle problem

Hello,
Yesterday i got android update to 4.4.2
But now my, connexion via screen mirroring with thesamsung allshare cast dongle is impossible.
Error message : Impossible to connect via screen mirroring.
Thank you for your help
i have the same problem. after the n9005xxuenb4 update
Since 4.4.2 I had two issues:-
1) It would try to connect and then just give up. To fix this I held the Dongle-12345 link down until it says "Connect with pin". This allowed me to connect but lead to problem 2
2) All I got was a blank screen. it seems to make the AllShare Cast Hub go into 1080p/30 !! This is an unusual (but valid) mode that not all TVs support. On my Panasonic TV I get a blank screen but on another TV it works. It seems to totally disregard the TV capability with LF21 or LJ02 firmware and I cannot try anything newer because the firmware updater has been withdrawn by Samsung
Not very impressed!

[Q] How to setup ADT-1 via OSD with no remote?

Hello,
I have ordered an ADT-1 from eBay and I have a question about initial setup. I have connected my ADT-1 to my TV via HDMI, the network connection via Ethernet, but I'm trying to figure out how to set up going through the on-screen menu.
On my TV screen, the first screen are language options - if it came with a remote, I would just press "OK" and I assume it would prompt me through everything. I have tried installing the "Android TV Remote Control", but it seems to install on my Galaxy Note 3, it detects the ADT-1 on the network, but then the app continuously crashes making the remote unusable.
I guess my question is how, or what do I need to go through the initial setup of the ADT-1 on my TV screen? Do I need to break out my Logitech remote from the basement and see if the ADT-1 is in its database? Or is there another way to set this up through the OSD?
Thanks in advance
