[Q]Do aosp device trees work with all roms?

Will the aosp device tree work with roms lile CyanogenMod or aokp?

Custom Rom - Stock Android 4.4.4 A500FU

Hi ,
Is there any Android 4.4.4 stock (aosp) rom for Galaxy A5 (A500FU)?
I really dislike TouchWiz and I dont like Android 5 (tested it on cyanogenmod 12)
Or can I tottaly transform Touchwiz into aosp?
I have Android 4.4.4 Touchwiz on my phone right now

S5 klte ROM that combines Stock base and CM features

Hi, I know it is very unlikely, but is there a ROM for the klte that combines a stock Samsung base with the CM theming engine and maybe other cm features?

Why is there no original AOSP rom for Android 6.0+?

I can see a few AOSP based rom out there for android M and N
But why is there no original version like AOSP 5.0.2 in the past?
